Pregnant Billionaire Heiress Gave Birth To Twins

Leave the restaurant

Ch. 116 / 286 Apr 29, 2026

Daniella was talking while they were walking and noticed that Desmond was no longer responding. She stopped talking and turned to Desmond. She saw that his attention was focused on something and followed his gaze. That was when she knew what was going on. He was looking at Anabel who was now breaking off from a hug and sittting down.

Daniella quickly made a beeline towards their table. Her face was twisted with disdain. Desmond tried to stop her, grabbing her arm gently.

"Daniella, where are you going?" He asked with a hint of exasperation in his voice. But Daniella shrugged him off and continued her march towards Anabel and Sylvester.

"Well, well, well," Daniella sneered when she reached their table. "What are you doing here, Anabel? With a man."

"And who invited you here? What is your business with what I'm doing here?" Anabel asked.

"This restaurant is meant for important people, not for the likes of you." Daniella replied.

Anabel got angry. She wasn't ready to banter any word with Daniella. But before she could respond, Sylvester spoke up for her,

"Daniella, you have no right to speak to Anabel that way. You have no business with what she's doing here."

"And who are you to talk to me?" Daniella asked.

"I'm her boyfriend, and I won't tolerate anyone belittling her. So mind how you talk to her" Sylvester said and Daniella stared at him up and down with contempt. "Look at who is talking. Boyfriend? Really? Are you not ashamed of following a rejected, pregnant woman? Have some dignity."

The words were supposed to startle Sylvester but it didn't. Yeah, why would it hurt him when he doesn't love her, though he needed to defend Anabel to solidify their new relationship.

"Stop talking as if you are better than Anabel. My girlfriend is worth more than you will ever know and she deserves some respect."

"I don't even have your time." Daniella said and turned her attention back to Anabel.

"You wanted to embarrase me the other day at the auction ceremony, thinking that Desmond will abandon me. You have witnessed how much he loved me. And guess what?..... Our wedding date have been fixed. I will be walking down the aisle on Saturday."

The news hit Anabel hard on the chest. It was as if Daniella just scratched a healing wound in Anabel's heart.. Yeah, she had moved on but hearing that the father of her baby is about to Wed another lady was heartbreaking.

"And why are you telling me? Am I the priest that is going to Wed you guys? How is that my business?" Anabel asked but deep down, her heart was broken afresh.

"Yes, it's your business because I'm about to take what belongs to you." Daniella said and just then, Desmond showed up

"Daniella, that's enough. Let them be. Let's go. Don't make unnecessary scene here." Desmond said but Daniella was relentless.

"I don't like seeing her here. She disgusts me." Daniella said and called over a waitress. She was talking as if she have a kind of authority over them. "Tell these two to pay for what ever they have taken and ask them to leave. I don't want to see them here."

The waitress glanced at Anabel and Sylvester, then turned to Daniella "I... I'm sorry, but I can't do that. We don't treat customers that way. If you have any personal problem with them, you can settle with them."

"I'm your high profile customer. I have the right for a special treatment and I want this two to disappear from here." Daniella insisted.

"I can see you are really crazy. I don't know how you think you have the right to dictate who can and cannot be here. This behavior is unacceptable, and if you persist, I will make you regret it. The last time I checked, You are not the owner of this restaurant ." Anabel said.

Daniella scoffed, crossing her arms defiantly. "I may not be the owner but you are about to leave. It's an error to eat in the same restaurant with you." She turned to the waitress. "What are you waiting for? Ask them to leave. And if you don't, I will go with my fiance and it would be our last. I'm sure you know the consequences. You will be fired for letting us go."
