Anabel went to the hospital
Annabel woke up early, determined to take matters into her own hands. She had spent the night thinking of how to investigate Vanessa and Sylvester. Even though she had seen signs, she needed to verify and confirm. She wasn't convinced that Sylvester could have that in mind.
Now, her plan was to visit the doctor and discuss transferring Vanessa to another hospital. She took her bath, got dressed, and grabbed her bag, then headed to the hospital.
As she entered the hospital, she saw Sylvester sitting near Vanessa, who had her eyes closed. Sylvester had seen her car pivoting inside the hospital and quickly alerted Vanessa to get back to her act.
"How is she doing?" Anabel asked, staring at Vanessa, who was lying like someone who was almost lifeless.
"Nothing had been done to her yet. None of my friends have complied." Sylvester replied with a pity face.
"This is the reason I'm suggesting we take her to another hospital. A better hospital that will treat her without deposits. Leaving her like this is risky. Anything can happen." Anabel said. "Anyway, I came to talk to the doctor about transferring her to another hospital, which is the best option for her."
"I love the fact that you are concerned, but the doctor won't agree to that. I've been trying to convince the doctor about your suggestion, but he believes this hospital is the best place for her. That moving her could be dangerous." Sylvester replied.
"I understand the risks, but we can't just sit here and do nothing. Leaving her here without any treatment is more dangerous. The doctor can't say that when he's doing nothing to help. We need to explore all our options. I'm going to talk to the doctor and see if he will allow me."
Sylvester sighed. "I don't think you will be able to convince him, but I suppose it's worth a try." Sylvester said.
Anabel turned to Vanessa, who was lying down. "Don't worry, dear. We are going to take you to another hospital where you will be treated properly." She finished and turned to Sylvester, "Take me to the doctor."
Sylvester agreed and stood up. As he went, Anabel followed up. When he got to the doctor's office, he knocked on the door and waited for a response.
After a moment, "They heard the doctor's voice from the inside, telling them to come in. Sylvester pushed the door, and Anabel joined him.
"Good morning, doctor," Annabel greeted him, trying to keep her tone respectful.
"You are here, Miss Anabel. I guess the transfer issue has been resolved." The doctor said.
"Not really. My bank is still working on it." Anabel replied.
"Oh! So what can I do for you?" The doctor asked.
"I wanted to discuss the possibility of transferring Vanessa to another hospital." Anabel began with a firm voice. "Since your hospital can't treat her without deposits, I think it's better we take her to another hospital. I believe it's in her best interest."
"Miss, Annabel, I understand your concern, but transferring Vanessa is not an option. I've explained everything to Sylvester, and he understood. Her condition is too fragile, and this hospital has the best facilities and specialists to handle her case."
Annabel took a deep breath, trying to remain calm. "I appreciate your expertise, doctor, but I've done some research, and there is another hospital that can provide the necessary care without requiring a deposit. They have a great reputation, and I believe they can help Vanessa immediately. Leaving Vanessa here will be dangerous."
"I must insist, Miss Annabel. Moving Vanessa could cause complications and worsen her condition. I cannot, in good conscience, allow it." The doctor replied, and Anabel's frustration began to bubble up. "Then start the treatment immediately. If you are concerned about her health and her life, then stop waiting for the initial deposit. Vanessa's life is at stake, and you guys are not doing anything about it. It's better we take the risks than leave her here untouched." She turned to Sylvester. "You are with me, right?"
