Pregnant Billionaire Heiress Gave Birth To Twins

Wedding day

Ch. 132 / 286 Apr 29, 2026

A few hours ago, Anabel was about to finalize the transaction when her phone buzzed with a new message notification. She paused and decided to check the message first. She read the first paragraph and realized It was from Desmond.

She got curious and began to read the rest of the text. In the message, Desmond was warning her about Sylvester and Vanessa, claiming that the entire situation was a setup to get money from her.

"Why is he now concerned about my life? I thought he doesn't give a fuck about me. And...there's no way I'm going to believe this. Maybe he doesn't want me to help them. Sylvester can never deceive me this way. He loves me." She mumbled. She had always trusted Sylvester, and the thought of him betraying her seemed impossible.

"Desmond must be jealous of him." She feigned ignorance and returned to the transaction. But as she was about to send the money, she hesitated.

Desmond's text echoed in her mind again. Could he be telling the truth? Anabel's hand trembled as she hovered over the green send button. She began to think about the possibility that Desmond's warning was genuine. After all, Desmond had no reason to lie to her, especially given their history.

Anabel's mind raced with some conflicting thoughts. She wanted to believe in Sylvester's sincerity, but Desmond's message had planted a seed of doubt. She took a deep breath and decided to hold off on the transaction for some moment longer. She needed to think it through.

Desmond has never hurt or harmed her since their divorce. If he was going out of his way to warn her, there had to be a reason. Sylvester may be too caring to do such a thing. At first, he even told her not to bother, that he would find a way and handle it, but she couldn't ignore the possibility.

With a heavy sigh, Anabel decided to take a step back and investigate further. She couldn't afford to make such a hasty decision, especially when so much was at stake.

She hoped that Desmond was wrong, but she couldn't ignore the nagging feeling that he might be right. She canceled the transaction and began to think of what to do.

The next day, Anabel was preparing for work when her phone rang. She checked and saw Sylvester's name flashing on the screen. She knew why he was calling and was ready to give some excuses.

"Hello, babe." She greeted. "How is your cousin?"

"Hi, sweetheart. It's not fine. I wanted to let you know that we haven't received the money yet," Sylvester said.

"Yeah, I'm yet to send it. I tried sending it yesterday, but I had some issues with my bank. The transaction didn't go through." Anabel replied.

"Vanessa's condition is getting worse, sweetheart. She's not even opening her eyes anymore. We need the money for the transplant as soon as possible." He said, and Anabel noticed something. He was becoming more desperate for the money.

"Don't panic, honey. I have contacted my bank, and they are working on it. I will make sure the money gets to you as soon as possible."

"Please, sweetheart, we don't have much time," Sylvester pleaded.

"I understand. You will definitely get it today," Anabel said. Though her mind was racing with thoughts of what to do next.

After hanging up the phone, Anabel sat in silence. Sylvester's desperation seemed genuine, but Desmond's warning still lingered in her mind. She needed to verify before making any decisions.

At the arena of Desmond's wedding, the sun was shining, casting a warm glow over the beautifully decorated space. Family and friends began to arrive, filling the space with excited chatters.

Desmond was standing at the altar, looking handsome in his black tailored suit. Despite the tension with his mother and sister, he wasn't bothered, though his eyes were scanning the crowd, hoping that they would still come.

To his relief, a few moments later, he saw his mother and sister, Bella, entering the venue. They hesitated at the entrance but eventually made their way to their seats. Desmond was very happy to see them. Despite their disagreements, they eventually came to support him.

Daniella, on the other hand, was in the bridal suite. Her makeup artist was making the final touches on her makeup. She looked stunning in her white wedding gown.

A moment later, her mother entered the room, beaming with pride. "You look absolutely beautiful, Daniella. Today is your day."

Daniella smiled at her mother. "Thank you, Mom. I'm so glad you are here."

As the music began to play, signaling the start of the ceremony, Daniella stood up and took a deep breath, ready to make her way to the entrance.

She glanced at her reflection one last time before stepping out. Family and friends stood as Daniella began her walk. All eyes were fixed on the radiant bride. Daniella's beautiful smiles were dazzling as she made her way to the altar.

When Daniella got closer to Desmond, he took her hands in his, and they turned to face the priest.

The priest spoke about love, commitment, and the journey they were about to embark on together.

After about ten minutes, it was time for their vows. Desmond went first.

"Daniella, from the moment I met you, I knew you were special. Today, I promise to stand by your side, to love and cherish you, and to be your partner in all of life's adventures. I am honored to call you my wife."

Daniella smiled, but deep down, she doesn't give a fuck. Why would she give a fuck when she won't be there?

When it was her time, she smiled before she began. "My heart, you have brought so much joy and love into my life. Your dedication and your unwavering belief in us have made me believe in a future filled with happiness. Today, I promise to be your confidant, your support, and your partner. I am honored to call you my husband." Daniella said even though she knew that there wouldn't be any future between them.
