Pregnant Billionaire Heiress Gave Birth To Twins

Visiting his mother and sister

Ch. 113 / 286 Apr 29, 2026

The next day, Desmond arrived at his family home. The familiar sight of the large storey building, with its well-tended garden and the comforting scent of his mother's cooking wafting through the air, gave him a fleeting sense of nostalgia. He took a deep breath before stepping inside.

"Mom? Bella?" Desmond called out as he closed the door behind him.

His mother sauntered from the kitchen while wiping her hands over the apron. Her eyes lit up when she saw him. "Desmond, my son! It's been a while," she said, pulling him into a warm embrace.

Desmond had thought she would be angry at him but she wasn't. She was happy to see him. Even though he had not been visiting them, he had been sending money for their upkeep.

"It's good to see you, Mom," Desmond replied, hugging her tightly.

Bella, his younger sister, bounded down the stairs with her usual exuberance.

"Desmond! You are here!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around him. "I thought you won't visit us again."

Desmond chuckled. "Don't say that. You guys are still my family. How have you been?"

"I've not been fine. I missed you.," she said.

"I missed you too." Desmond replied and she leered at him. "You don't miss me. If you do, you would be calling me. You don't call me." Bella said, pouting her mouth and acting annoyed.

"I'm sorry. I promise I will start calling."

"Anyway, what brings you here? I know you didn't just come to see us." Bella said.

"Let's go and sit down," Desmond said, leading them to the living room. His heart was pounding as he was about to deliver the news. "I have something important to tell you both."

Mrs. Elizabeth sat down. "What is it, Desmond?"

Desmond took a deep breath before voicing out. "I've set the date for my wedding. Daniella and I are getting married next week Saturday"

The room fell silent for a moment as the weight of Desmond's words settled in. Mrs. Elizabeth's expression shifted from curiosity to concern, while Bella's eyes widened in surprise.

"Desmond, are you serious?" Bella asked. She didn't see that coming.

"Yes, I'm serious," Desmond replied firmly. "I came to tell you both so you can make arrangements to attend."

His mother shook her head slowly. "No, Desmond. You can't marry that girl. I can't even believe you are saying this. You want to marry Daniella?"

"Why not, Mom? Daniella is pregnant with my child. You wanted a grandchild, didn't you?" Desmond asked.

"I did, but not like this." His mother said. "Daniella is not the right woman for you, for our family. She made you kick Bella and me, your mother, out of your house, and she made you to stop caring about us. She will not make a good wife."

"Mom, I understand your concerns, but this is my decision. Daniella and I are getting married, and that's final."

Bella stepped forward. "Desmond, please listen to Mom. Daniella has caused so much pain for our family. You deserve someone who truly loves you and respects our family."

"I appreciate your input, but I've made up my mind. I didn't come here to seek your approval. I came to inform you. The wedding will happen whether you come or not. I don't want to loose Daniella the same way i loosed Anabel"

"Desmond, please. Think about what you are doing. This marriage will only bring you more heartache. She may do worse than what she's doing now." His mother said. Her face was filled with concern. She knew she would totally loose her son once he gots married to Daniella

"Mom, I'm sorry, but my mind is made up. I don't want to loose Daniella, and we are having a child together. I want to build a life with her. I can't keep changing women."

"Desmond, we are only trying to protect you," Bella said softly. "Please reconsider."

"I understand your concerns, but this is my choice. I hope you will both come to the wedding and support me. But if you can't, I understand."

He stood up. "I need to get back to Daniella," he said. "I hope you will both find it in your hearts to be there for me."

With that, Desmond turned and made his way out of the room. The door closed behind him, leaving his mother and sister to grapple with their emotions. They watched him go with heavy hearts. Though they hope that he would see the truth they were desperately trying to show him before the wedding day.
