After the auction, Sylvester escorted Anabel out and offered to take her to a nearby hotel for a relief.
"Maybe next time. I need to get back home." Anabel turned him down..
"What about coming to my house? You know....you have never visited my house."
"Is it necessary?" Anabel asked.
"I think so. You know.... we've been friends for a good time now. So i think it will be nice to spend some time together in my house. At least, you will know where I'm living." Sylvester replied.
"Alright, i think you are right. Just send me your address. I will check my schedule for this week and make out time." Anabel replied.
"That's great. I will send my address once I get back to the house."
"So, I will be going now." Anabel said and headed to her car. Sylvester watched her enter and her driver drove away. Once she was out of view, he smiled, "Just a few steps to have you for myself." He said and walked up to his car.

Anabel got home and her mind flashed back to Sylvester. She didn't trust Sylvester so much even though he has seemed to be a good friend to her. Just when she finished taking her bath, her phone beep. She checked and it was Sylvester. He just sent his house address.
She knew she would visit him but how would he do it. She thought of going unexpectedly. Maybe she may discover some things. Something inside of her still suspects Sylvester.
The next day after work, Anabel decided to visit Sylvester unexpectedly. She arranged her files, cleared her desk and texted her driver. She got to the parking lot and entered he car. Her driver was already inside. She read the address to him and he drove off.
Sylvester and Vanessa were enjoying a quiet evening together in his living room. They had just finished a leisurely dinner and were now seated on the couch, sipping on glasses of wine and chatting about their plans concerning Anabel. The soft hum of music filled the room, creating a relaxing ambiance.
As Sylvester reached for the remote to change the song, he caught sight of a familiar car pulling up in front of his house through the window. His heart skipped as he recognized it was Anabel's car.
"Vanessa," He voiced out, "We gat something to handle right now. Anabel is here." He was nervous and unsettled. He made a big mistake by giving Anabel his house address. He had thought she would tell him anytime she wants to visit. He didn't see that coming.
Vanessa looked up, her eyes widening in surprise. "What? What is she doing here?"
"I don't know," Sylvester replied.
"You don't know? Don't tell me you didn't invite her."
"I didn't invite her. She didn't even tell me she was coming. She must have decided to surprise me." Sylvester replied.
"She shouldn't know that I'm your girlfriend. What are we going to do now? If she sees us together, all our efforts will be in vain."
Sylvester took a deep breath, trying to think quickly. "Okay, we need to stay calm. I will handle this. Just follow my lead, okay?"
Vanessa nodde. "Alright, but what should I do?"
"Just act natural." Sylvester said, straightening his shirt. "I will tell her you are my cousin. I'm sure she doesn't know who you are. So she won't have any reason to doubt it."
"It's alright." Vanessa said and began to clear the table immediately. After cleaning the table, she rushed to the bedroom to clear any suspicious objects, especially her belongings. She wasn't sure if Anabel would come to the room but she needed to clear things to avoid had i known.
As Anabel was approaching his entrance door, Sylvester walked to the door. At this moment, his mind was racing with how he was going to explain the unexpected situation.
Just then, the doorbell rang, and Sylvester took a moment to compose himself before opening the door. He put on his best smile, hoping to mask the anxiety that was bubbling beneath him. When he finally opened the door, he was greeted by Anabel's smiling face.
"Ohh!, Anabel! It's you!." He said, trying to sound surprised. "What a pleasant surprise."
Anabel smiled back. "Hey, Sylvester. I thought of stopping by to see you. I hope I'm not interrupting anything."
"No, not at all." Sylvester said quickly. "You can come in."
As she walked into the living room, Anabel's eyes quickly scanned the white spacious space. It was tidy, almost too tidy, as if someone had just finished cleaning up in a hurry. She noticed a pair of women's shoes near the couch which Vanessa failed to keep off, and a slight indentation on the cushions, as if someone had been sitting there moments before she arrived.
"Welcome to my house."
"Thank you very much." Anabel replied and just then, a voice came from the hallway. Vanessa had finished arranging her room and was ready to execute her acting talent.
"Wow, a woman came to visit you." She began as if she was surprised. "And she's beautiful! What a miracle! For the first time, a girl is visiting you!" She walked close to Sylvester. "Who is She? Your girlfriend?"
