Hyperion could not believe he had been roped into this plan or whatever the women were doing. For the love of all the Gods, what has gotten into them, sending him to the one person he wants to kill more than anything? His two daughters just look at him with those big purple eyes and he cannot say no. He thinks about how he has no problem saying no to his other children. What is the difference?
Hyperion hears Theia in his head, "They are your youngest and the ones that were cursed. You are getting soft and want to please them since it is your fault they are cursed by your father."
"Getting soft! Humf, I will show you I am not getting soft." He muttered back.
All he heard after that was his wife's laughter. Shaking his head as he smiled Hyperion admitted to himself that those women had him wrapped around his little finger. He shimmered into what looked to be a garden. Looking around Hyperion thought to himself, "This is new." There was a bench sitting in the middle of the garden. different types of flowers, shrubs, and trees surrounded the bench. The garden had every type of plant and flower you could think of. There was a palm tree growing behind the bench. The fronds hung over the bench giving it shade from the sun. The colors of the flowers were the brightest Hyperion had ever seen. The trees were dark and lush same as the shrubs and bushes. How long had Uranus been growing this?
"Why are you here?" Hyperion heard his father bellow.
Turning from the garden and walking in the direction of the voice, "I am here to ask if you know where my missing family and friends may be." Hyperion answered.
"What would make you think I know where they are?"Uranus questioned.
Hyperion snarled, "Because each of them is one you would be interested in. They could be used to harm the only daughter I have left."
"It was a great pleasure to help Katia from this world." Uranus goaded.
"Do not push your luck, old man. Watch what you say about my girls." Hyperion warned Uranus.
"Fine, who are you looking for? I will tell you if I know where they are." Uranus grunted.
"Selene, Alpha Nathan, Kane, the white wolves, witches, Alpha Mark, Kelp, Dalia, Lucifer, Cronos, and my wife," Hyperion said through clenched teeth.
"You have lost quite a few people, Hyperion." Uranus quipped. "Did you say white wolves?"
Hyperion pinches the bridge of his nose saying, "Focus father. I need to know if you know where they are."
"Hyperion, my boy, why would I know where they are? I have been living the quiet life and keeping my word to my granddaughter." His father answered a little too quickly.
"I just thought you may know. I cannot find any of them. I am worried with the angels getting riled up that they may have been involved in taking them. I will take my leave of you." He shimmered and disappeared leaving Uranus to himself.
Uranus walked to his garden bench, sitting down he thought about the list of missing people. His son would not come here if they were not missing. There was one thing Uranus knew for sure and that was his children hated him. The second thing was that his wife hated him. He supposed they had good reason but if he had not locked them away he would have had to kill them. As it was once Zeus set them free, his beautiful wife Gaia convinced them to mutilate him. It was only a few other women. He would not mind her having a few lovers, maybe Gaia would be more content.
Uranus knew it was a matter of time before he was done by Cronos. He has seen it and knew once it was done and his eldest son was in power he would be more corrupt than the father. The only way to stop the prophecy from happening was to gather anyone a threat to him and kill them. The problem was someone else had already gathered everyone except Zeus. The only person that came to mind was his sweet granddaughter. Katia was the only one he had told about what he saw. He did feel bad for what he had done to both granddaughters. He did not know Selene as well as he had gotten to know Katia. Although she was a sweet thing he still did not believe the girls should be allowed to live in the earth realm and like those savages they created. The others that lived in that realm were just as bad. They had no idea how to show compassion to one another. They were never happy with what they had. The few decent individuals in that realm never stand a chance. They are bullied, tormented, and their essence devoured by the wicked they live amongst. Look at how easy it was to destroy his granddaughters especially Katia this time. Her wolf had even given up. Their strength was none existent when he sent them to the island to heal. It was the least he could do. She was so proud and brave when she walked in demanding a deal with him.
Uranus understood why the fates split the moon goddess into twins. All of that power in one god would have been a disaster. Look at Zeus it has taken years for him to understand the mistakes of his youth. Lucifer was one of those mistakes and now even the fallen angel seems happier. Uranus sat drumming his fingers on his knees while in thought. When it hit him. Has Katia's healing allowed her to gain her powers? If so, for how long has she had them? Did Lucifer or Cronos know? He could see her wanting to help him. She was saddened when he explained what he had foreseen.
Thinking a bit longer Uranus decided that Lucifer had to know and would help her. That boy was head over heels in love with the girl. Maybe both of them. He was not sure. Sometimes he thought he saw a glimpse of the same feelings in Katia for Lucifer but he was not sure. Love was not Urnaus strongest emotion. It was too easy for him to love another and his wife. Now the other issue would be whether Selene is a captive or an accessory to the plan. Uranus had a feeling that it was the latter. How had Katia done it? Where is she holding them on the island? He knows that is where she is. Katia had never left the island once he sent her there. He would know immediately if she left it. He would feel the loss of her moon magic if she left the island.
Sitting quietly with his eyes closed, Uranus focused on seeing the island. Then he began looking for signs of Katia. He saw the little fire she kept burning all the time. She had explained it reminded her of home with Moon Touched and Snow Moon. Then he sees the tree house up on the tallest tree. Her vacation home. She is not there. She is not in the cabin. Nor is she at the lake or the small waterfall she added. The waterfall helped her to not miss home so much also.
Scanning the beach, Uranus sees her footsteps along with bigger ones. The steps are beside one another like a couple strolling on the sand. The bigger ones must be Lucifer's. The two of them spend a lot of time by the water and swimming. There was no one there just their footprints. Looking beyond the lake he sees where Katia has set up a camping area. Shaking his head, Uranus wondered how many places she needed to live at. the camping area had bathing suits hanging to dry on a tree branch along with some towels. There were some chairs around a smaller unlit fire.
Noticing movement further up towards the right side of the mountain he looked harder. That was when he saw the smaller-sized black wolf lying just outside an opening to a cave. She has her head resting on her front paws and is sleeping. Uranus knows sweet AZa will turn into a ravenous beast if she thinks her girly is in trouble. So he gives her a psychic pat on the head letting her know it is him moving past her. She slightly opens her left eye and scans the area closing it again when she spots no danger.
Moving into the cave, Uranus hears Nathan's voice asking Katia what her plan is. Why are they there? So my niece did gather them all. As he enters the room he knows the minute Katia feels his psychic touch. She turns her head toward where she felt it and smiles. He looks around and sees that she has created two huge living suites out of the rock formations. The suites are cages but homey. They each have a cage door made of rock with small windows that can be concealed by the rock if she wishes it. The white wolf becomes agitated and moves anxiously around. Katia calms her quietly, "Shhh, Talon all is well. I promise, no harm will come to you or Amara."
The one called Talon immediately calms. Alpha Mark tries to see through the window and into the other suite but cannot. Katis assures him next, "She is okay, Mark. You know I will let no harm come to any of you."
"Except maybe me. Right Mate?" Nathan goaded her.
Katia looked at him rolling her eyes, "You are not worth my time or thoughts. Believe what you want."
Uranus took that as his cue to shimmer into the cave, "Greetings granddaughter. I see you have gathered almost everyone I need to keep the prophecy from coming about."
"Yes, grandfather I have. Are you surprised?" She smiled at him.
Smiling down at her, he confessed, "Yes I am. Now let's bring the last person needed to round out this group here."
