Rhea appeared in front of Aza as she continued lying outside of the cave. She stood looking down at the wolf with her finger to her lips shushing her. "Do not warn any of them I am here, little Aza."
Aza snorted, "Why are you here, and where is your snakey hair?" She was referring to Rhea's normal look of snakes for hair and her wings were missing also.
Crouching down the titan stroked Aza's fur on her back saying, "I decided to look more like the creatures that live in this realm. I am not here to hurt or frighten anyone. I want to help and gain my freedom too."
Well, that was not what the wolf expected to hear from Cronos' mate. Aza did not know what to believe. The grandfather had just betrayed her human and now Rhea is here claiming to want to help. "You are not upset with Cronos? How did you know what was going on?"
"Oh, sweet Aza I have known for a long time that Cronos would someday meet his mate and I applaud him for keeping his word to me. He stayed with me even when his mate gave him another child. I know he loves me and our children, but it is time for him to have what he was supposed to have." Rhea explained to Katia's wolf.
"The prophecy does not end well for Cronos." Aza pointed out.
"No, it does not but I am hoping if he is truly happy with his mate and the child of that union, it will change things for him, and he will be a better leader than his father." Rhea confided to the wolf.
Aza snorted, "How did you know where we were, and why are showing up now?"
Rhea chuckled at the wolf and continued petting her while informing her, "This little group is not the only one that has been trying to stop Uranus. There is another who is interested in the outcome of what this group has set out to do. There is another who loves those twin girls and wants them to have peace and happiness in their lives."
Aza jumped to her feet and started pacing, "Who? Who else cares for my Katia and her sister?"
"Calm down little one, just know that the other has an army of angels at their disposal if we need them. No one will leave this island until Uranus is a threat no more and all freedoms are given to those who deserve it." Rhea boasted to the wolf.
"Now, Aza, am I presentable enough to not scare the little one in there?" Rhea asked.
"Well, with the snakey hair gone, you look pretty. However, you might want to cover up your scaly snakey skin with some clothes." Aza told her.
Inhaling Rhea protested, "I do not have snakeskin, you little fur ball. My skin is dry from the dry environment we live in."
"Ever heard of lotion" Aza snarked. "Don't get your hair hissing, I was just trying to lighten the mood. However, you do need to put clothes on. There are way too many mated couples in there that have not had the chance to spend enough time together."
"You're still a fur ball. But thank you." Rhea sputtered.
"Hey, I like the green hair, is that your natural color?" Aza chortled. She took off into the cave after that remark. The thing with these titans was you had to know when to have the last word, which Aza was a master at she thought laughing to herself.
Aza was the first to get to where everyone was being held in their prisons. She held her head high, with her tail raised and swishing as she pranced to Katia's cage. She stood wagging her tail and chuffing to get her girly's attention as he spoke through her mind link. "Unplug the television, she's heeeere!"
Katia looked confused and cautiously asked Aza, "Wolfie, what are you talking about? Why unplug the television? Who is here?"
"You know Girly, like poltergeist but it is snaketergeist instead." Aza laughed like a hyena at her joke.
"I heard that furball," Rhea announced as she walked into the area, they were all held in.
"Oops, I forgot I was broadcasting for all to hear," Aza said not sorry one bit.
Katai rolled her eyes saying, "Oh, Wolfie! What am I going to do with you?"
"You know ya love me, girly!" Aza exclaimed and lay next to the door of the cage. If it was going to hit the fan or the door then Aza wanted to be close to defend her girly.
Cronos came forward exclaiming, "Rhea! What are you doing here? How did you find me?"
"Relax Cronos. I am not here to hurt you, your mate, or your child. I want to help you all but there is something I want first." Rhea said calmly as he looked at the man who had done what he must to keep his word to her.
"Really? You are not angry with me? You do not want to kill my mate and son?" He asked her bewildered. In the past, she had tried to destroy anyone she suspected him of being with.
She walked to the door of the room he was in and reached through the bars of the window. Stroking his face she whispered, "No, my friend. You did exactly as you promised me years ago. You did not leave me and went out of your way to protect me from the fact you found your mate. Although you were hurting them by keeping your promise to me. You have shown me that my mate was the one who was defective not me."
"I didn't want to hurt you, Rhea. I want to know I will never walk away from you. I will always love you and keep that promise to you." She reinforced. Cronos was still worried that her volatile temper would kick in.
"No, Cronos, I am releasing you from that promise. I want two things in return." She protested.
Katia asked intrigued, “What are the two things you want, Aunt Rhea?"
She looked at Cronos, then to the cage that Evelynn and her son were locked in as she answered her niece, "I want to remain friends with my darling Cronos, and I want a second chance to have a mate."
Selene answered immediately, "I can do that for you, Aunt Rhea. I will find the perfect one for you although you are not a werewolf."
Rhea smiled at her two nieces, "Thank you, child. I am looking forward to whoever you choose for me. Now you two girls are going to have to lure Uranus here when I give you the word to do so."
Looking at Evelynn, she inquired, "Can you tolerate a friendship between me and your mate?"
Evelynn tightened her hold on Leo and intoned quietly, "Yes. I would like to get to know you and welcome you as a friend also."
Rhea smiled at the witches' bravery. She could feel her fear, but the human was trying so hard not to show it. "I think I would like that too."
The little boy spoke up, "I like your green hair."
Smiling at him Rhea told him, "Thank you. I did not think that everyone liked my usual hair, so I changed it."
She knew the little boy would not be able to resist and he asked, "What is your usual hair like?"
She heard Cronos chuckle as she told the boy, "My usual hair is a head full of snakes."
To which Aza interjected, "With a body of scaly skin." as she snickered.
Rhea snapped her fingers and an imaginary hand smacked Aza on the nose. "I see you and Katia have learned much while here. Stop broadcasting your thoughts to everyone in this room or I will make sure you spend the rest of your life as a cat."
Aza yelped at the smack on the nose. She stood, stretched, and started prowling like a cat, "I would make a majestic lioness."
"No, you would make a perfect house cat to catch mice." Rhea quipped.
Katia snapped then, "Aza stop antagonizing Aunt Rhea. Please keep quiet." Aza chuffed, spun in a circle, and laid down again.
"Now in a few minutes girls, I am going to need you to call your grandfather here. Make him think that you two have come up with a plan to rule with him. That you want to be his right and left hand. He did not see that in the prophecy; however, it would make him stronger with your powers combined with his." Rhea instructed her nieces.
Lucifer interjected, "They cannot use their powers for evil. Zeus ensured that would never happen by binding their powers to good."
Zeus was nodding in the affirmative when Rhea sighed, "Yes, but was Uranus ever informed of that? Remember he has been locked in his prison for most of his life too. He can only travel from there to here. Who outside of us knew this about the girl's powers?
Katia said, "If he knew then he would not have given me the chance to develop my powers back to where they should have been without his interference in my earthly life. He thinks he can control us when the time comes."
Rhea clapped, "Yes, and you two will let him think that. Okay one more thing then I will be ready for you to call him" She snapped her fingers and Evelynn screamed.
