Lucifer sat with Katia in the tree house as she practiced shimmering from one corner of the room to another. She was getting good at it, and they were hoping that eventually she could shimmer herself home. Obviously, the island was under some sort of power that hid it, but the woman is a god and should be able to do the same things Uranus does. Lucifer was hoping she just needed to learn what she could do and practice.
“Lu my own angel, what happened to change your mind about all of this?” Katia asked him, suddenly plopping down next to him. Giggling at Lucifer’s wince hearing her nickname for him.
“I am no longer an angel, Katia. But to answer your question, I am smarter than a lot give me credit for. I watch, pay attention, and learn from what I can put together. Someone is pulling strings in this little game of revenge. I just cannot figure out if it is Uranus or Cronos. Both are using their time with you to gauge whose side you will be on.” Lucifer offered to her.
Katia smiled brightly at him, saying, “I know that part, Lu, but why did you suddenly want to help me and realize you weren’t so angry with Zeus?”
Her grin was catching, and he smiled back at her, “Once I got over the pain of losing my wings and the fall, I played nasty little games with Zeus using his precious humans. It always amazed me that they would make their deals and when the time came, they all got their punishments without complaint. They are always the few who think they are smarter and must be handled differently.”
Nodding her head, Katia said, “Okay, but that is still not an answer to my question.”
Pinching her arm, Lucifer retorted, “If you would be quiet, I can get to that. After I saw you march into Uranus thinking you were facing your own mortality, I got to thinking that humans and supernaturals are not very different. They both enjoy freedom of will. Zeus and other gods, such as yourself, gives them rules to live by. I can offer them other options from those rules, and they then have a choice.”
“So, you are saying instead of outright fighting with Zeus, you ae just going to be a pain in his backside for all eternity?” Katia guessed.
“BINGO! Little Katia.” Lucifer bellows.
“Another word, you have decided you love us supernaturals and humans.” Katia chortles.
Scowling, Lucifer interrupts her laugh, “More like loathe at little less than I did. Love is a little strong. Besides, I am getting some pretty good entertainment nowadays and the best place to live you could think of. No cold or snow ever.”
Leaning over, making google eyes at him while giving him a quick hug, Katia lets him know, “I am glad you changed your mind.”
Chuckling louder at her antics, he gave her a hug back and asked, “Have you made the moves we discussed?”
Katia told him, “Of course. I startled poor Lili to death the first time. I think I have in down though. I can lift the block for three minutes. No longer and Uranus suddenly appears for a visit. The last two white wolves received instructions in their dreams. That was harder. I did not think grandfather would watch over my dreams too. The witches will arrive at Moon Touched in another week.”
Lucifer was impressed at how much the little goddess had changed and grown. She still loved to play though. He was puzzled, “How did you get to the witches?”
“Brought the four of them into the dreams with the wolves.” She winked at him.
“Now, now, little Katia, what would that mate of yours say about your flirting with me?” he purred.
“Nothing, he would probably try to rape me to teach me a lesson.” She quipped.
“Well then, how about we use three minutes to torture him for a change?” Lucifer suggested.
“Ah, but aren’t you, my uncle? That is what you told Bryan, Jake, and Tiger.” Katia reminded him.
“You know why I told that story and if you think about how screwed up the family line is in the god realm, I am sure we would find that we are related in some way. I mean some of the family trees barely have branches.” Lucifer answered.
Katia's eyes went blank, and Lucifer knew she was linking with Aza in a private conversation. He was curious to see if she took him up on his offer or not. If he admitted the truth, he wanted to see what the little goddess tasted like.
While Lucifer sat waiting to see what Katia would do, she and Aza were discussing what they should do. More like Aza was telling Katia what to do. “Come on girly. You know you want to see what it is like to kiss someone besides family or mate. Just do it.”
“What about Nathan and Kalen? They will feel it even though they may not know why they are feeling the pain.” Katia countered.
“Oh, poor baby! No good mate could feel a pain for three minutes when he tortured you for longer.” Aza growled at her.
“Stop growling at me and tell me why you are so angry at Kalen,” Katia said while rubbing her between her ears.
“Kalen could have tried harder to stop Nathan and did not. Then he wanted me to betray you.” Aza huffed at Katia.
“My poor girl. It is okay. Remember they do not trust one another like we do. Kalen did the best he could with Nathan that day. He only wanted to protect you, his mate, that was why he asked you to tell him where we were.” Katia whispered into wolfie’s fur as she hugged her wolf.
Realizing they had gotten off track and that Lucifer was probably getting tired of waiting for their conversation to end, Katia decided, “I am going to kiss him, Wolfie. I never got to go on dates or to parties. I want to see if all boys or men kiss the same.”
“Now we’re talking girly! Go for it.” Aza jumped up, dancing side to side, shaking her head.
Lucifer reached and patted Aza on her head and laughed at her ridiculous prance she was doing. His eyes were burning a hole in Katia as he said, “You two work out your problem?”
Nodding her head, Katia gulped, “Yes, I would like to take you up on that three-minute offer. Nothing but kissing though, Lu. Okay?”
“Whatever you say, little goddess.” He whispered in her ear. How did he move so fast, Katia wondered. Looking into Lucifer’s face, she couldn’t help comparing him to Nathan. Lucifer was the size of most titans and unworldly handsome. Nathan was a gorgeous man and had muscles in all the right places. He towered over Katia, but Lucifer was even taller and bigger. Lucifer could crush her with one hand. Nathan could crush her; well, she already knew how Nathan could crush her, so that was a mute comparison.
Before she could get any further with whatever was going on in her head, Lucifer swept her into his arms and sat in a chair. He placed her, so she straddled his lap, facing him. Katia was staring into his eyes, and he knew they were red with desire. Hers were a deep purple that he could see a gleam swirling around them. He pulled her in towards him as he leaned forwards slightly. Using one of his hands, he cradled her head with it. Gods she was tiny for a grown woman. Pressing his lips to hers, he let the kiss happen naturally. She hummed after a few seconds. Gently he reminded Katia, “Let the block down little goddess. We are teaching that mate of yours a lesson, remember.”
Katia gave a groan at the fact that she had forgotten why she agreed to this kiss. Lucifer was chuckling as she left the block down and deepened the kiss. Their tongues were dueling with each other, and Lucifer was rubbing circles on her back. Katia was hanging on to his shirt for dear life. Pretty soon, the two were carried away with the kiss. Lucifer was pulling her in closer and rubbing her back and around just under her breast. Katia was starting to rock back and forth on the hard part of Lucifer protruding between her spread legs. His pants did not do much to contain it. Just as Katia let out a groan, Aza stuck her cold nose between Lucifer’s hand and the skin under Katia’s breast, making them jump a part slightly. “Put the block back up.” He said, breathing heavily.
Katia did as he said and gave Aza a pat on the head in thanks. They almost ruined all their plans for a little payback. Dazed Katia was sitting in Lucifer’s lap. He stood and sat her back down in the chair while snickering at her dazed expression. “So little goddess was it everything you hoped?”
“Katia assured Lucifer, “Oh my gods, that was only three minutes? How big is that thing between your legs, Lu? Holy crap!”
With a dare in his eyes, he asked, “Wouldn’t you like to find out? Now the witches will arrive in a week. Will Selene be ready to go?”
“Yes, yes, everything is almost in place and Selene will do her part. No worries.” She advised.
“Good. Now keep practicing, improving and increasing your powers. No kissing any more men, to compare us and how we kiss.” He said as he shimmered out of sight.
