His Forbidden Obsession

Chapter 58:- A Not So Stranger

Ch. 58 / 125 Feb 13, 2026

Seraphina's eyes widened in pure shock by watching the person standing before her, who was smirking at her. She hurriedly turned her back on him and covered her bare back with her long hair.

"What are you doing here?" She uttered through gritted teeth.

His smirk broadened at her question.

"You told me to come in for some help,"

Seraphina clenched her jaw at his answer.

"Are you a maid, Mr Grayson, because I had called for her?"She spat and he chuckled.

"Well I don't mind becoming one for you, Miss Miller but at least consider my gender before honouring me with such a designation because it's quite difficult for me to become a maid, you know," He laughed, making her more annoyed.

"And about that maid? She has left to prepare your breakfast,"

"Then do me the honour and you too leave from here," She snapped at him

"Quite offending, Miss Miller. Firstly you invited me on your own and now kicking me out. Very disrespectful," He teased her more while staring at her back.

Seraphina blazed up in anger and without speaking anything, she hurriedly turned around and tried to walk out but he grabbed her waist gently.

"Don't touch me. Leave m.. " Seraphina badly hissed, as she tried to push him away with both hands, forgetting about her burned palm.

He immediately held her arm and stopped her from moving her wounded hand. He raised it a little high, so it didn't get grazed against anything.

"Leave me. Don't touch m.. "

"Stop being stubborn, Sera," He raised his voice, making her shut.

Seraphina noticed the dominance and aggressiveness had come back in his gaze.

"I am just here to help you because you denied taking that maid's help," He spoke coldly, which hurted and angried her more.

"Because I don't need anyone's help, especially yours, Mr Grayson, so leave me alone," She tried to snatch her arm from his grip but he didn't free it.

"So sad to hear that but I am not requesting here, Miss Miller, so now turn around. I'll open the clasp," He uttered, firmly.

"No, you don't have to. Go away from here, " She continued to protest.

He started losing his patience.

"Fine then, have it on your way," He spoke and then clutched her bra's hook and unclasped it with his one hand.

Her eyes widened, feeling her bosoms peaking out from the cups of her bra. Her eyes turned watery. She started struggling more.

"No, leave me. Leave me," She teared up more badly, making him sigh. He freed her and she immediately turned around.

Seraphina tried to cover herself with her arms whereas he could clearly hear her soft whimpers. Arzal heaved and stepped a little closer to her.

"I am sorry, Princess but I just want to help. Let me help you then I promise, I'll leave from here," He gently uttered.

Seraphina slowly shrugged her head and stuttered.

"N.. No,"

He stepped a little closer and softly whispered in her ear.

"I promise, I won't touch or look. Now let me help you,"

Seraphina gulped and gave up because she knew he was more stubborn than her and besides, a sense of her rationality had already left her by feeling him so closer to her.

Finding her stopped struggling, he carefully took out her bra from her body but didn't take off her panties and didn't turn her around, as he had promised to not look at her.

He grabbed the hand shower and switched it on.

"Keep your hand up," He said.

Seraphina closed her eyes and raised her burned palm up, so that it wouldn't get wet. He roamed the hand shower all over her body from her behind and she just stood there like a statue.

He grabbed the body cleanser and poured some of it on her other palm.

"Apply it on your body," He said because he knew she wouldn't let him do that.

Seraphina rubbed the cleanser on her front but then felt him gently massaging her back with the cleanser. Her back arched unintentionally, feeling his rough yet warm palm.

It was terrifyingly relaxing for her. After massaging her back. He got down and rubbed the cleanser on her legs and thighs, mindful of not touching her anywhere where she didn't want him to touch.

After applying the cleanser all over her body, he switched on the hand shower again and cleaned her entirely but not for a single second, he broke his promise of looking and touching her sinfully.

After bathing her, he patted her body with a towel and then helped her wearing a bathrobe and then he turned around and walked out .

Finding herself alone in the bathroom, she retracted her panties and then walked out of the bathroom. She thought he had left but he didn't.

She saw him taking out a pair of clothes from her cupboard. He straddled towards her, holding her inner wear and a pair of loose t-shirt and comfortable cotton shorts.

He placed them on the bed and looked at her

"I can help you in wearing them, if you want," He asked but she shook her head.

"No, I can manage. Thank you for your help. You can leave now, " She said and grabbed those clothes.

He sighed and then turned around.

"I'll leave after you will get successfully done with wearing your clothes, without hurting yourself,"

Her heart ached at his words. He was saving her from that physical pain but what about that pain emerging in her heart.

Seraphina carefully opened her bathrobe and then wore her panty. She dropped the idea of wearing a bra because the t-shirt was too loose and besides she didn't know how to clasp her bra with one hand and definitely didn't want to take his help in it.

She wore that t-shirt and shorts and then gazed at his back.

"You can leave now,"

Hearing her, he turned around and witnessed her looking away from his direction.

He would lie if he said her distant behaviour hadn't bothered him but he knew he deserved it for the mess he had created.

Arzal suspired and tried to leave.

"Thank you for your help today, Mr Grayson but in future, please don't even think about doing it again because it's disrespectful towards your would be wife," She said, without looking at him

Arzal gritted his teeth but without speaking anything, he dashed out from her room.

A tear slipped down from her eyes, witnessing his retracting figure. How messed up everything had turned for her. She wanted to push him away from her because he was going to be someone else's but at the same time, the thought of losing him had started breaking her.

After a couple of days, her hand had almost healed but there was a big dark scar which now had even started fading with the help of medication.

Seraphina had completely distanced herself from him. It ached her soul every time she saw him with her, so she had completely started avoiding him and to her surprise, he had even stopped bothering her.

They were behaving like two strangers. His engagement ceremony was going to happen the day after tomorrow. It was better if they became strangers but would she be able to endure the pain of letting that person become someone else's, whom she had given her whole self? Her body, her soul, her heart, every inch of her being.

Seraphina was too messed up to think anything and the most painful thing was that she couldn't even share her feelings with someone else.

Her tears fell on the page of the notebook, which she was holding. Seraphina blinked her wet lashes. She was trying to revise her test, as she was about to go to her school but couldn't focus on it.

Seraphina turned the page but more tears fell on her notebook from her blurry vision. She shut the copy and slammed it on the dining table of the hall.

She slowly turned her head around but got stunned by watching a stranger standing before her, who was holding a black suitcase. Seraphina immediately wiped her eyes and took her steps back in fear.

"Can I know where Mr Grayson is?" He asked her.

Seraphina gulped and answered while looking down.

"He will be here soon," She told him as it was the time of her school and he was going to drop her.

"Thank you," That man said and she just nodded.

Seraphina hurriedly turned around and started collecting her books and notebooks which she had spreaded all over the dining table.

She shoved them in her school bag and was about to zip her bag.

"You forgot your book there,"

Seraphina tossed her head and saw that man gesturing towards a certain direction. Seraphina followed his gaze and saw her book, which was placed on a chair.

She took it and put it in her bag and turned around.

"Thank you," She smiled slightly and in return, saw that man beaming too.

"It's okay, my sister also has the habit of her books at the time of packing her school bag," He uttered warmly.

Seraphina felt a sting in her heart at his words because her mind immediately recalled her brother and how badly she wanted to see him, hug him and tell him how alone and hurted she was, without him.

Her eyes watered, just at the mere thought of her brother but she hid it by taking her eyes down, until.

"Crying doesn't show you as a weak, instead, tears are the sign of having one of the biggest strength, that's endurance,"

She slowly took her eyes up, hearing him, who was smiling at her.

"I know I am a stranger and this might sound too much but my sister is almost of your age and she cries a lot, almost over everything but I believe that's what makes her more stronger and braver than anything and anyone,"

She thoroughly heard his every word and for a brief moment, she felt like she was hearing Nathan because her brother had always believed that her tears were her biggest strength.

Her heart warmed up. She gave him a big wide smile and spoke.

"Thank you so much,"

That man smiled too and said,

"My name is Ryan,"

"I am Seraphina Miller," She returned the gesture.

"Cute name," He remarked and she giggled, until she noticed the smile dropped from Ryan's face, as his eyes fell on something behind her and her body shivered hearing that name from Ryan's mouth.

"Mr Grayson,"
