"My heart would never give up to a heartless sinner like you,"
Her loud words echoed against the walls of that shower room. Cold water was continuously wetting their collided naked bodies, aggressively. Their blazing gazes didn't give up to each other, until Seraphina saw a voracious smirk appearing on his devilish face.
He started chuckling hoarsely, hearing her which made her stunned. He released her hair and then cupped her waist. He sniggered and then cupped her waist, amiably.
"Is my little Princess sure that her heart is never going to give up to me?" He uttered, grinning while gazing into her watery confused eyes. Seraphina didn't reply.
Arzal tilted his head a bit and scanned her face, like it was the most fascinating thing for his eyes. He tugged her wet hairs strands behind her ear and then kissed her ear, making her to fist her palms.
"Because last night the way she was embracing me, touching me, holding me, kissing me, feeling me, that was saying the total opposite of it," He whispered in her ear and then trailed his eyes at hers.
He brushed his lips against her cheeks and then kissed the corner of her lips.
"The pain I had given her last night, it has pleasured her more than anything, ain't it, Princess?" He asked, smirking and she just gazed at him through her glossy eyes.
He lifted his face and then joined their foreheads.
"So how can we get sure here that she surrendered herself to me just because she wanted to get rid of me?"
Seraphina was wordless after his questions because they both knew its answer already. They both had felt it.
He smirked more evilly at her silence and rubbed his nose bridge against hers.
"Now wordless, are we, Princess?"
Seraphina glared at him because even in that situation he was mocking her. She slightly clenched her jaw and tried to push him away but he didn't move.
Seraphina tried to forcefully part herself from him but ended up tripping because of the wet floor. She hissed badly because the soreness in her lower region was terrible.
He held her securely in his arms before she could fall and noticed her hissing in pain and he already knew the reason why.
Seraphina's eyes watered more because the stinging sensation in between her thighs was painful. She lowered her head and stood stir in his embrace.
He switched off the shower and she gasped when he hoisted her naked figure in his arms. She surrounded her arms around him for support and looked at him bewildered and before she could protest, he started walking out of the shower room.
He placed her wet body down on the bed, carefully.
"Dress up. We're leaving in half an hour," He declared in his firm tone and she didn't argue further.
Seraphina witnessed him leaving the room after telling her to dress up. She sighed and wiped her teary eyes and carefully got up from the bed, as it was winching her while walking.
She grabbed her inner wear from the cupboard and wore it and then took the first pair of clothes which came in contact with her hand which was a blue denim shorts and crimson crop top.
She covered herself with them and then unintentionally her eyes trailed over the bed, where she witnessed the sheets were completely tangled and ruined. A small patch of blood had stained the paleness of the sheets.
Her heart ached by watching that blood stain, which was clearly indicating she had finally lost everything to him but the thing which hurted her more was why she didn't regret it? Why wasn't she feeling any regret of giving herself to him? Why was her heart at ease, knowing it was him?
Seraphina shut her eyes to hold back her tears from falling and then glanced at that stain one last time and walked out from that room.
Her azure eyes were gazing at the bright blue sky through the glass window of his running car. They both were heading back. Seraphina didn't even look at him for once and neither did he break that silence between them, after their argument in that shower room.
But even fighting that battle of silence between each other, his eyes were tempted to just get a glimpse of her face. He wasn't capable of stopping himself from glancing at her.
She was looking more beautiful in his eyes, after he finally had her as his. He had heard about glow after sex but had never believed in it, until now when he was witnessing her glowing more alluringly now.
Seraphina was totally lost in her thoughts when he stopped the car. They were outside a pharmaceutical store. She tossed her head and looked at him, confused, who got out of his car and shut the door behind him.
Seraphina saw him getting inside the store and then coming back after a couple of minutes, holding a little packet in his hand.
He sat on his seat and then finally looked at her, who was already gazing at him. He put the packet on her lap.
"These painkillers will help you in soothing your soreness," He uttered and her cheeks instantly heated up in embarrassment at his words.
She immediately turned her head away from him, in order to hide her flushed face from him and then clutched that packet on her lap.
He grinned because he had already caught her blushing but didn't bother her further and drove away from there.
Next day, Seraphina was making her school bag in the morning for going there. He hadn't bothered her anymore after taking her back to his mansion and neither she even tried to get in front of him.
She was placing her books in her bag when suddenly her eyes caught Benjamin's notebook. She took it out from her bag and her heart clenched in pain when her mind recalled what had happened to him and why.
Seraphina hugged his notebook and closed her teary eyes.
"I... I am sorry, Ben, so sorry," She breathed out because she was considering herself responsible for his end. If she had never agreed to become his friend, never told him about his penthouse's address then nothing of this would have ever happened.
He didn't have to lose his life and she was so helpless that she wasn't even capable of getting justice for him by punishing his murderer because she knew nobody was going to believe her and neither anybody would dare to go against him and on an above, she couldn't risk with her brother's life.
Those armed men stalking her brother were still fresh in her mind and it was still haunting her till her core.
Seraphina wiped her eyes and then with a sigh, she shoved his notebook back in her bag and zipped it. She carried her bag on her shoulder and walked out of the room.
"Damn, the test was so difficult. Hope! I just passed it with good grades," Nevada uttered, shoving her books in her bag, who was sitting beside Seraphina.
Seraphina gave her a small smile and packed her bag for leaving.
"Hey! By the way, why is Ben absent today? Do you know anything about it?"
Seraphina's body froze, at her question. She gulped and slowly shrugged her head.
"Oh! I thought, you know, because he had called me a day before yesterday and had taken your number from me. He said you might have his notebook," Never said. Seraphina didn't reply.
"Did you have his notebook, because that day I had seen him putting a notebook in your bag? I thought he was helping you in packing,"
Seraphina snapped her eyes at her and asked, confused.
"He was putting his notebook in my bag?"
"No, I don't know. I have just seen him putting a notebook in your bag but I am not sure, if it was his or yours and besides why would he put his notebook in your intentionally?"
Seraphina sighed at her words and just nodded.
"Okay, let's go then. My brother will be here in a couple of minutes. Is Arzal coming?"
"Yes, I have messaged him," Seraphina replied because she had texted him in advance before he could call her, as she didn't want to talk to him.
They both didn't exchange a single word when he drove her to her school and she didn't even look at him and neither did she want to.
In the evening, the sun had still not set yet properly, Arzal came back from his work but throughout the day, his mind was all over her. Her silence, her ignorance. He knew she was ignoring him and he couldn't blame her for it. He knew he deserved it but she was distancing herself from him which he couldn't bear, not anymore.
It was becoming impossible for him to stay away from her. She had become like a drug and he was addicted to it badly.
"Where is she?"
"Mr Grayson, Miss Miller is in the garden and has been doing some painting there for the past 1 hour," The staff girl notified him, bowing.
Without speaking anything, his feet straddled towards his mansion's garden.
The sky was engulfed with a beautiful horizon and the sun's low rays were still gleaming. The wind was cold but was blowing warmly. His eyes scanned the entire garden and finally fell on her, who was sitting on the grass. Her hair was tied up in a loose bun. Strands were falling from it on her face.
Her petite body was covered in a green off shoulder midi which was making her knees visible a bit because she was sitting on her knees. Her azure eyes were completely focused on the paper before her, on which she was filling colours. A soft smile was present on her face.
That scenario was celestial for him. He wondered what she actually had in her that made everything around her beautiful just with her mere presence.
Seraphina was totally drowned in filling colours in her painting because she wanted to take her mind away from everything for a while and painting was the best option because she liked doing it.
She was moving the paintbrush on the painting but stopped when she felt that presence behind her, which had started taking over her existence now.
