Eero's perspective
A week has passed since I took that drug. Per Miss Cielo's words, today was the day that I had to take a pregnancy test for us to find out whether the Alpha got me pregnant or not.
“B-But what if I am not yet pregnant? The Alpha will be disappointed in me,” I said with a sound voice. It's my body. I would be the first to realize if there were changes in my body brought about by pregnancy, and I could say not that I can't feel any.
“Let's not put words in his mouth. The Alpha's reaction is something that you can't control even if you are the most powerful she-wolf that graces the Earth,” she said, comforting me. Miss Cielo forced the pregnancy kit on my hand, and then she stared at the closed door of the bathroom inside my room.
“Can you not leave me all by myself? At least for now. I-I need you with me.”
Miss Cielo smiled and moved her head once. “If that's what you want. I can spare you some of my time.”
Five minutes have passed since I left the kit on the sink and me, sitting on the toilet bowl.
“The result is out by now,” I whispered to myself.
“Two red lines, positive. One red line means that I am not pregnant,” I added.
I held my breath as I slowly revealed the first line in the pregnancy kit. I further moved my finger away from the small box that displays the lines, and to my disappointment, the kit only showed one line, which meant…
“Eero, how was it?” Miss Cielo asked like a mother who was very concerned about her only daughter.
I bit my lower lip and shook my head, “I am not yet pregnant, Miss Cielo. I am sorry.”
The female butler of the pack didn't say anything, but she pulled me in a tight hug.
“It's okay. You don't need to be so harsh to yourself. It's not your fault that you are not pregnant,” she whispered in my ears.
It has been an hour since I found out the result of my test. In the middle of preparing the Alpha's dinner, another set of tears trickled down from my cheeks, down to my lips that I got to taste. It's salty.
When I felt a familiar presence standing behind me, I tried to hold my tears and stop them from falling down, knowing that the Alpha would get mad at me for crying like a kid.
“I heard about the result of your pregnancy test. You're not yet pregnant?” Rage flashed in his eyes. The vicious Alpha pulled my arm. It felt as if his strength would effortlessly rip through my flesh and crush my bones.
“Were you doing something behind my back, so you won't get pregnant, huh?” He ruthlessly accused me.
I looked into his eyes, but there was too much anger in them that I just couldn't stand gazing at them.
“Alpha, please, you are hurting me—”
“I know, Eero.” Alpha Claudius caged my jaw in his hand to make me look up at him.
Staring at his eyes was like looking at the demon itself.
“And I will cause you more pain if I find out that you are doing some shady things so I won't get you pregnant.”
“Why would I do that? What's the point? We already had an agreement, Alpha! I already told you that I will help you have your pups.” My voice broke.
“Alpha, please. I need you to trust me. What else do I need to do for you to believe in me, hmm?” I asked him, but he remained silent.
“And I will hurt you even more if I find out that you are making a fool out of me, Eero!” I gritted my teeth and continued to wince in pain as he wrapped his hand around my arm tighter than the first time, and so I ended up being the one to think of a solution to this problem of ours.
“We need to try harder,” I said to him, suggesting it.
My suggestion caught him surprised. I bet that he wasn't expecting that from me.
“S-Should we do it more?” I asked anxiously while I played with my fingers.
“So, you are willing, huh?"
I could feel my cheeks burning and my knees losing their strength with the way he was looking at me.
“I promised to give you heirs as soon as possible, Alpha.”
“Hmm.”
“Do I really have to say it out loud?” I added, urging him to give me a response.
“If you would rather not say it out loud, then how about you show me instead?” He asked. I knew that he was purposely teasing me now. Gone was his anger.
“Are you done with your Alpha duties for today?” I asked him. Alpha Claudius nodded his head.
“As far as I know. Yes, I am done with all of it.”
“Then you can do me n-now, Alpha?” I asked him. Something glistened in his eyes. I was done unbuttoning the first three buttons of the dress shirt that I was wearing when he caught my hand to stop me from stripping my clothes off my body.
“The drug. You have to take it before we fuck.”
I shook my head at him.
“N-No. I would rather not take that anymore. My wolf is already familiar with yours. I don't think she'll reject you the way she did before,” I said.
I heard him curse as my dress fell down on the floor, revealing my naked self to him like a feast.
“Anyone who dares to enter my house will die,” I heard him send out messages to everyone in the pack via mind link that made me giggle before I jumped at him, wrapping my legs around his waist and my hand on his nape.
“It's going to be your fault if I end up being rough with you tonight, Eero.”
“It's fine, Alpha. I can take it,” I said and initiated a kiss with him.
