The Ruthless Alpha's Innocent Breeder

Chapter 10

Ch. 10 / 140 Jan 12, 2026

Eero's perspective

Days have passed since I had that talk with the cruel Alpha, but I couldn't seem to forget about it. It was etched in my head like a curse that I couldn't run away from.

"Eero." A familiar woman in her mid-forties called my name when my mind was bothered by that talk.

I looked up, greeting her eyes that radiated motherly warmth.

"You didn't have your breakfast, and now you're not eating your lunch either? How are you gonna recover if you cannot get any nutrition?" She asked, slightly annoyed and frustrated because I was being a pain in her ass.

"I-I don't want to get better, Miss Cielo. I'd rather like my wolf to stay weak until it can no longer keep me alive. I want to die," I told her calmy, finally admitting what really was running through my mind.

"Don't be silly." Miss Cielo stopped me in haste while looking behind her back, horrified that someone could hear me.

"How could you say you wish to die when you're a breeder? Don't you know the honor of being an Alpha's breeder? It's like being a Luna."

"Except that it's not," I cut her off. I would rather not be rude, but I was left with no choice.

"Alpha Claudius told me that I needed to give birth to ten pups. After that, he'll kill me. He didn't even blink his eyes when telling me this, as if killing is as easy as breathing for him. If I'd get killed by then nonetheless, why don't I just put an end to my life now?"

I shouted, pouring my frustration at her, even when I knew that I shouldn't be doing this.

Just as I finished my words, the door to the room where I was being kept like a hostage cracked open.

Cold sweats surfaced on my forehead as the familiar footsteps headed inside.

The cruel Alpha was here. I was sure that he had heard everything.

"I will take it from here, Cielo." Staring at two trays of food on the bedside table, Alpha Claudius said coldly.

Even if Miss Cielo didn't want to leave, she swallowed her protest and exited quietly.

"Eat your food," he commanded.

My weak wolf was shaking at his order.

"I've given you days to grieve, but I don't have all the time to keep waiting until you get better, Eero." His patience finally snapped.

He grabbed the spoon from the tray and forced it into my hand.

"I said eat!" He shouted.

I couldn't help but flinch at his thunderous voice, shivering in fear.

How was I supposed to eat anything when he was intimidating me like this? Not to mention I had no appetite at all.

I only needed a few seconds to redeem my composure, but he was far too impatient for that.

Things happened so fast. One moment he was just standing by the bedside, the next his hands were wrapped around my neck.

"If you're not gonna pull yourself together, I'll just kill you now."

I tapped his hand, asking him to let go of me.

Finally, his hands left my neck. I would have lost consciousness if he strangled me for one more minute.

"Is that all you ever want to say each time you see me? When you talked to me the first time, you'd told me that you'd kill me after I give you an unbelievable amount of pups! And now you're actually trying to kill me!" I choked on my tears finally.

"Why is everyone treating me like I'm a piece of worthless trash?! I can't even remember when I first got that feeling. My family don't love me. If it was Serra that you asked to become your breeder, I'm pretty sure that my father would do everything to stop that from happening." My voice cracked again.

I knew that he probably didn't care about these rants from me at all. But I just needed to let all of these out.

"But my father would never do that for me. They'd never care for me the way they do for Serra." I licked my lower lip in bitterness. I tried to calm down a little bit, but ended up sobbing.

"'I will kill you'. Do you think you're the first person who has said this to me ever? No, you're not! I always hear them. From my mother, my sister, and my father! All my life...it feels like my being alive is a sin that I must pay for. Maybe that's why I'm living a miserable life."

Finishing pouring out all my grievance, I looked up into his eyes, only to notice an emotion that I couldn't name in his eyes. But something had changed and I knew that for sure.

It seemed that the Alpha was mind linking someone. When he was done, he looked down at me.

"Okay. Let's make a deal. After you're done with your responsibility as my breeder, I will set you free."
