The Ruthless Alpha's Innocent Breeder

Chapter 24

Ch. 24 / 140 Jan 12, 2026

Caspian’s perspective

“I wish to end it.” The smile on her lips faded as my words finally sank in.

Serra shakes her head, rejecting what I want to happen.

“What do you mean, you want to end it?”

“You can't do that to me. I am an Alpha's daughter. I am Ameo's heir and the future Alpha of Moon Rivers Pack. Why would you reject the likes of me?”

“Why shouldn't I? I am not in love with you, and I can see through you. I know how evil you can be, and I know what you did to Eero.”

Serra scoffs.

“You are going to believe her? Over me? I am your mate! Why would you turn your back on me for some other girl?” I moved closer to her, leveling my lips on her ear.

“Now, I guess you already knew what Eero felt when Cohen turned his back on her.”

Serra held my arm, stopping me to walking out from her for the second time around.

“But it was different. Cohen was in love with me, and turning his back on Eero is something I didn't ask myself. He did that according to his own will.”

“And I am doing this too according to my own will.” Serra firmly held my hand. She was shaking her head, insisting that I shouldn't be doing this to her, making my urge to cut the bond that is binding her to me to heightened even more.

“Listen to me. Whatever it is that Eero told you, none of those are true. Those are lies. Eero hates me just as much as I hate her.”

Still holding my arm, Serra kneeled and looked up at me like I was a God that she was worshiping.

“You can't do this to me. You saw what happened to Cohen after Eero rejected him as her mate. Do you want the same thing to happen to me?” Serra asked, her voice close to cracking.

I looked down at her and rolled my eyes exasperatedly. God, she is so stubborn and not in a cute way!

“Get up, Serra. Like you said, you are the future Alpha of this pack. Give yourself some respect and dignity.”

But with all the mess and issues that her name was dragged into, I bet self-respect and dignity is the last thing that this woman cared about.

Serra tugged my arm as she continued to shake her head.

“What do you want me to do, huh? Do you want me to be nice to Eero? To ask her forgiveness? Fine, I'll do that.” Tears finally broke down from her eyes.

I wonder if this is the first time that she is sincerely crying because she was about to lose something that she couldn't afford to lose in the first place.

“Just give me a chance and I can prove to you that I am not so bad.”

“Nothing you do will make me change my mind, Serra,” I said with a hint of finality in my voice.

I stood up straight and took two steps back after I pulled my hand from her hold of me.

“I, Caspian Amadeus from the blood moon pack, reject Serra Valerian as my mate— ouch!” I wasn't able to finish what I was saying. Serra bit me around my pulse, not just a regular bite, but the one that is too deep. It started to weaken my wolf as my blood drips from my pulse down to the wooden floor of their kitchen.

She pulled away from me and on the corner of her lips are the traces of my blood too.

Her eyes widened. It was as if she realized the severity of what she had done to me.

“Are you insane? Why would you do something like this?” I spat angrily.

She fell on the floor with her hand pressed against each other, rubbing it as she begs for my forgiveness.

“I-I am sorry, Caspian. I didn't mean to hurt you. I did what I can do at the moment. You were rejecting me and I need to stop you from doing it!” she said in between her loud sobs.

I shake my head at her. It feels like I am losing too much blood, and I am starting to feel dizzy.

“L-Let me help you. I will take you to the pack's Doctor. I am sure that he'll know what to do—"

“Stay the fuck back and don't you dare come close to me, or I will kill you!” I growled at her before I turned her back.

Upon opening the door of Eero's room on the second floor, I could no longer stand. I fell straight to Alpha Claudius' arm.

“Caspian!” In the corner of my eyes, I saw Eero stood up from her bed. Her eyes were filled with worries, just as much as my best friend is worried about me.

“Who did this to you?”

“What happened to you?” The two of them asked me.

“It fucking hurts! Why does it hurt? It's just a bite!”

“A bite? Who bit you?” Claudius asked me.

“Serra bit me. I just found out that she is my fucking mate. I didn't want anything to do with her, so I was rejecting her and the forsaken woman bit me!” I said, summarizing what happened downstairs.

“Goodness, there are tons of women out there and the Moon Goddess decided to choose Serra as my mate? She must be kidding me.”

“Hey. Don't say that.”

“Oh, are you really going to defend that fake sisters of yours.”

“I meant don't talk about the Moon Goddess like that,” Eero corrected herself.

“Let me see that,” she said to me. She took my wounded pulse. As her finger was trailing the bite mark around it, blood stops coming out of it, until the fresh wounds of mine healed within a blink of an eye, all because she traced it with her finger.

Out of shock, Eero threw my arm back to me, and then he looked at me and Claudius confusedly.

“W-What happened? What did I do?”
