Eero’s perspective
“What do you still want from me? And don't give me the bullshit that you want me back in the pack because I am your daughter, and we are a family.”
“Oh, sweetie. I thought we were over that? We offered to welcome you back warmly, which you declined.” Alpha Ameo leaned closer to me, as if he was memorizing all my facial features. He even fixed my hair for me, and then he smiled malice.
“With everything that happened, I’m afraid we can't give you that same offer twice,” he said before settling back near his wife.
Luna Vera was glaring at me too. She was jealous of the way her husband touched me.
“And stop playing dumb. You know why we must have you back.”
“If there's someone whom you should be helping with your special gift—”
“I will never use this power to help anyone from this pack. I loathe every single lycan in this territory!”
“Oh, you do?” Luna Vera asked as she grabbed my hair, pulling it harder with each second that passed.
“If you won't use your power to our advantage, we'd rather keep you rotten in the dungeon,” she mumbled before she pushed me to the ground. I fumbled and made a terrible fall, dislocating my wrist. I cried out of pain.
“Take that sly snake away from us. Lock her up in the dungeon!” Luna Vera ordered one of the deltas guarding the pack house.
“No.” Alpha Ameo’s voice sounded.
Luna Vera immediately cocked her heads toward her husband, gritting her teeth.
“What do you mean, no?” She spat.
“Bring her up to her old room.”
“What? No!” Luna Vera protested.
The delta, of course, chose to follow the Alpha's command instead of the Luna's.
“You don't have to drag me like a sack of potato! I can go to my room by myself!" I hissed at the delta before pulling my arm from his grasp. But he held me tighter, which made me wince in pain even more.
Serra was sitting like a princess on the couch in the living room when the delta brought me inside.
She rose to her feet and charged at me with a fiery eye after realizing that we were on our way upstairs.
“What are you doing here?” She asked me. I decided to ignore her. So she searched for an answer from the delta behind me.
“Alpha Ameo told me to bring her into her room.”
“What? No! She is not his daughter. Why would she stay here? She was our hostage. She should be staying in the dungeon—”
“Please, tell that to your father. I would rather stay in that stinky, cold and dark dungeon than live with the likes of your family,” I said to her in between gritted teeth. Just when she was about to attack me, the front door opened.
Alpha Ameo's presence was enough to make his daughter stop from hurting me.
The delta then proceeded to lock me in my room after that. The door was locked from outside. I couldn't do anything to open it from inside, and the window to my room was now blocked with iron bars as well.
I breathed deeply. Helpless, I sat on the floor and stared blankly at the ceiling.
“I need to get myself out of here. I know that the Alpha would try to help me. But with that barrier built by Alpha Ameo in place, there was nothing he can do for me.”
“I need to figure out an escape plan all by myself.”
But it seems like the Alpha has taken that into consideration. He knew that I would try to escape. Anything that I can use to do that was taken out of my room.
It was already dark outside and the only thing that illuminated my room was the lampshade on the bed-side table.
My stomach growled out of hunger. I hadn't had a proper meal since they ambushed me. Lacking food and right nutrients, I couldn't fully regain my strength and energy.
From the small gap between the floor and the door, I suddenly noticed a pair of feet. At first, I thought they belonged to an omega working for the main house. But when the cold wind blew, the air brought a scent to my nose.
I knew that scent. How could I forget the scent of the wolf that tried to violate me before?
The doorknob started to shake, and I could hear the sounds of the keys rustling as he opened the door.
When he finally got it open, the dim light inside my room was bright enough for me to see the lusty smile on his face.
“Hello, Eero,” he greeted in a hoarse voice.
“You’re not going to ask me what I’m up to again, right?” He said, hinting that we already had this conversation before and that he was sick of it.
He looked at his left side. His left arm had been slashed by Beta Caspian as the punishment for him tarnishing my innocence.
“Even with such a reminder,” I said, looking at his empty sleeve, “you still haven't learned your lesson?”
Trevor smirked at me.
“This happened to me because of you. You owe me one. You have a long debt overdue. Tonight you need to pay for it,” he said.
As he walked towards me, the trauma that I got from what had happened back in the dungeon was triggered.
“P-Please, don't do this to me, Trevor. Do you want Alpha Claudius to kill you once he finds out that you've sexually harassed me again?”
Trevor chuckled.
“But he'll never be going to find out that I did things to you. Because the Alpha will never see you again.”
