Eero's perspective
I rolled to the left side of my bed. I pulled my comforter closer to my body with closed eyes. The silence that conquered my room made it possible for me to hear how heavy and noisy I breathed, and it started to bother and ultimately, annoyed me too.
I sat up from my bed and my eyes jumped straight to the closed door of my room. I heaved a sigh and then my eyes stayed on the window. It's a full moon tonight. The sky was a bit cloudy for my liking, but I couldn't help but smile after I realized that those clouds looked like the moon's blanket.
Not far from where I was staying was the Alpha's residence. They were going to attack and wipe out an entire pack. They must have done something wrong and irredeemable for Alpha Claudius to come up with such a decision.
In the midst of musing about the Alpha of Blood Moon Pack, I heard the door to my room click open. Seconds after that, the scent of a mateless lycan whiffed my nose.
“W-What are you doing here?” I asked. If I managed to protect myself earlier, I was sure that I couldn't do it again. The he-wolf in front of me had two braids in his hair. I knew what that meant. He was the captain of a small and special unit that the Alpha of the pack formed himself.
“What are you doing here? You are not supposed to be here! Stop walking near me or I will scream.”
“And you think that one would care to check on you as you scream? Your scream will come from this area of the territory.”
Some would surely hear me, but they would figure out that the voice seeking help was a breeder's voice. No one would help a breeder, not when they were performing their duty. In layman's terms, not when they were being fucked.
“I'll be quick. You don't have to do anything but lay there. Spread your legs and offer it to me.”
I shook my head as I took a step back, but then my back hit the cold wall.
“No. You won't be given a chance to touch me ever. I am Alpha's breeder and not just a simple pack's breeder-”
“Did he tell you that?”
I remained silent after he asked me that question.
“The Alpha is keeping you here, which means you are not special. You are just like the rest of the breeder that we have here.”
I tried to run away from him, but his strong arm caught me by my waist. The warrior threw me back to my bed. Tears bled out of my eyes after he stripped his shirt and hovered me.
“A-Alpha! C-Claudius, help me, please!” I mumbled as the warrior started to kiss my neck. I closed my eyes. I was losing my hope that I'd be safe from this man when I felt him being pulled away from me.
I saw how the Alpha effortlessly threw him out of my room. The impact even broke my door. With an eye filled with fury, the Alpha walked out of my room, not yet satisfied with what he did to his warrior. I got up to fix myself, and then I followed them outside to see what was happening.
“You are a fucking cunt. What do you think you are doing to her, hmm?”
“Alpha, she is a damn breeder. She was brought here to be used by us. You brought her here to be fucked by your horniest and lustiest men and warriors.” The Alpha's warrior chuckled bitterly, with an aim to mock the Alpha and his wrath.
“Are you really going to do this to your pack's best warrior, Claudius? Fine.” The warrior closed his eyes and nodded his head.
“You can have her first, and I'll take your...” I saw the warrior close his lips. Whatever it was that he wanted to say, he chose not to finish it anymore.
But the Alpha challenged him, “Say it.”
“I'll take your leftover!” He shouted. I gasped. My knees and legs weakened after the Alpha tore his warrior's head off his body. He wasn't using any sword or a knife. That was just his hand and his strength.
That was how strong the Alpha was.
Holding my breath, my eyes widened after the Alpha turned his head in my direction. There was blood all over his face now. His warrior's blood. Fresh blood.
Holding the strand of his warrior's hair, the Alpha got up.
“W-Where are you going to bring me?” I asked. I thought that he would just be going to walk past by me, but then he grabbed my hand, and now we were headed to the territory's common ground.
“Is that Jeremiah?”
“Alpha Claudius killed Jeremiah!”
“He was the Alpha's favorite warrior next to Beta Caspian. I wonder what he did.”
“I think it has something to do with the new breeder that they brought from the Moon River pack.”
I heard them whispering, both female and male, everyone who had witnessed me and the Alpha walking to the plaza with such big steps.
It didn't take a minute for every he-wolf in the pack to come out, including Beta Caspian.
Alpha Claudius raised Jeremiah's head to show it to everyone first before he threw it to the ground.
“That is the head of a traitor who tried to sleep with my breeder, with my woman.” Alpha Claudius pulled me closer to him. He was not satisfied with the gap between us. He wanted me skin to skin, close to him.
“This she-wolf is mine. This breeder is no one but mine. The pup that she'd carry are mine and mine alone.”
I looked down. I couldn't bear to look at anyone's eyes as he was saying all of this. My fear for him doubled after I witnessed what he just did to Jeremiah, but I was thankful to him.
He saved me.
