The Ruthless Alpha's Innocent Breeder

Chapter 21

Ch. 21 / 140 Jan 12, 2026

Eero’s perspective

“To whom do we owe this pleasure of you gracing us with your presence, Alpha Claudius?” Alpha Ameo asked seconds after he redeemed his composure. No one in the Moon River Pack expected us to be back this soon.

“What's with the sudden visit?” He asked again. His eyes were pasted on Alpha Claudius. The silence between him and Alpha Claudius stretched and that's when he finally noticed me.

“Eero, what's wrong? Did you do something that might have upset the Alpha?” Alpha Ameo questioned me through mind link. I was too occupied with the thought that this man whom I thought was my father was nothing but a mere stranger to me. That's probably the reason he treats me differently and why he chose Serra as his heir and the future Alpha of Moon River Pack, even when I am his firstborn. It turns out that I am not, Serra is. She is his only daughter, too.

“Dear, did you come bearing good news?” Luna Vera intervened in the conversation. She eyed my tummy, expecting to see a bump, and then she looked up to my eyes and patiently waited a confirmation from me.

“Eero, you are already pregnant?” Alpha Ameo exclaimed, but not out of excitement. He sounded threatening by the possibility that I was pregnant, then happy for me.

Luna Vera lightly shakes her head and giggles.

“How rude of us! Come on in, Alpha and Eero. Let us talk about the reason you are here inside.”

“There is no need for that now, Mom.” I chuckled bitterly. I saw fear crossed her eyes after Beta Caspian pulled Cohen out of the very same car where we stepped out earlier.

“C-Cohen, y-you told her?” Serra mumbled that made her parent cock their head to her direction.

“Told what?”

“What is happening?” Both Alpha Ameo and Luna Vera asked confusedly. They turned their head to Alpha Claudius. The man whom I thought was my father faked a smile.

“Are you sure that the two of you do not have an idea with what's happening?” Alpha Claudius finally spoke in his usual monotonic voice.

“Serra, what the hell happened? What are your sister and the Alpha are talking about?” Luna Vera urged her sweet daughter to answer.

Serra couldn't stop playing with her fingers.

“We accidentally heard you and Dad. We heard that Eero is not your biological daughter. She is not my sister,” she said, and then Serra glared at me.

“Now it makes sense why I hate her. It's because we don't share the same blood—”

“What are you on? I am sure that you two must have heard me and your mother wrong—” Alpha Ameo immediately stopped himself from speaking after he felt the sharpness of Alpha Claudius' blade against his neck.

Everyone gasped, but none of the Moon River Pack's warriors and delta dared to come and defend their Alpha. They know better than to mess with Claudius Cormac.

“I know you'd do this. Do we really need to do this again, Ameo? Do you want another drop of blood on your floor before we get the truth from you?” Claudius murmured in a low voice, but loud enough for Alpha Ameo to hear.

Serra started to cry on the very same spot, knowing that for the second time around. A chaos broke in because of her.

“Alpha, please. Sheath your sword again. You don't have to do this!” Luna Vera said in panic after she saw a small cut on the neck of her precious husband.

Alpha Ameo glared at his wife, telling her not to say anything, but the woman didn't mind him anymore.

“I… I will tell you the truth. Just promise that you won't do anything against our pack.” Luna Vera looked at me, asking me to back her up, but I couldn't be bother. I only want the truth and nothing else to do with them after I got it.

“I am not sheathing this sword back, Luna. Not unless you tell us the whole truth.”

Luna Vera closed her eyes for a moment.

“Astrid Moncler. That's Eero's real name. She is a daughter of a rogue that was exiled from her pack. A-Ameo and I saw her in the forest sixteen years ago.” Luna Vera glanced at her husband again.

“She was on the verge of death, and she kept on begging that we take her daughter to safety with us… and so I did.” Luna Vera held unto my arm.

“You see? We didn't hide this from you to deceive you. We hid this from you because we thought that it's better that you didn't know. I don't want you to suffer from this truth.”

“Yes, your mother is right. Hearing about this will bring you nothing, but pain,” Alpha Ameo seconded.

Alpha Claudius finally pulled the blade of his sword off Alpha Ameo's neck, and it is safe to say that he is believing them.

“We tried our best to be a parent to you, even when you aren't our blood and flesh, Eero.”

“Yes! You can't blame us if we favor Serra more than you. She is our daughter and you—” I turned my back on them to face Cohen who was kneeling on the floor while Beta Caspian was holding his nape.

“N-No! No! You can't do that to me!” Cohen shouted after he realized that I was about to reject him.

“I, Astrid Moncler. A daughter of a rogue and lone wolf reject you Cohen Fuego, a rogue… as my mate,” I said.

It was a relief when my voice didn't crack.

Alpha Claudius quickly wrapped his arm around my waist and helped me stand on my feet as my severed ties with Cohen finally snapped, taking a toll on my strength.

Cohen winces in pain while I get to bury my face in Alpha Claudius chest.

“I-Inside. Somebody takes Eero inside." I heard Alpha Ameo said before I finally lost my consciousness. The last thing that I can remember was Alpha Claudius sweeping me off my feet and carrying me on his arm in bridal style.
