The Hidden She-Wolf

Chapter 58

Ch. 59 / 63 Mar 24, 2026

"Madison," Jane called relieved seeing she was okay.

Madison was frightened when the door opened, she believed we were The Grey Pack Member, as she realized we weren't she ran to Alpha Arkane wrapping her arms around him in tears.

Jane stood watching them. Madison was clueless she was her daughter and Jane saw it was not the right time to tell her who she was to her, she was hurting too much.

"You're safe, your entire pack is," Alpha Arkane told her. "The Grey Pack is no more."

She cried hard.

Madison's eyes soon went to me, she was surprised to see me.

"Rain, please have mercy on my nephew," she begged.

I just looked at her, saying nothing.

"Where is he?" asked Jane.

"Follow me," instructed Madison.

She ran into the room that was filled with boxes.

Jane held my hand and I followed behind her.

"Help me," Madison begged Alpha Arkane.

They started moving the boxes. As they did I saw a hand with bite marks, bite marks that were mine, they still weren't healed. Alpha Deucalion was hidden by the boxes. All boxes were moved and soon I was able to see his complete body, he was unconscious and he looked swollen that I doubt my healing powers would be able to help him.

"Rain, please save him" Madison kept calling me by the fake name I had once given her.

"Please, do so, she's hurting," Jane pleaded as well.

I looked into Jane's eyes and I saw sadness.

"Do it for me, Salem," she kept pleading.

I made my way to Alpha Deucalion's body, "Get me a cup of water," I ordered standing over him.

Madison ran for a cup, she quickly hand it to me as she returned and I pour the cup of water all over his wounds, lowering myself to him while I began to heal him. A bright blue light covered his entire body as it was swallowing him. Alpha Deucalion was soon strangely floating in the air by my power, we stood frightened watching.

I didn't know I could do that. The blue light slowly began to leave his body as it lowered him back to the ground. The entire blue light was gone and we all could see his face clearly. All his wounds were gone and he looked as if he was never hurt, still, he was unconscious.

"Is he alive?" asked Jane as we all stared at him on the floor.

I checked his chest to see if he was still breathing, he was, alive. I felt anger inside of me slowly taking over my body, I wasn't happy with what I did, I only did it for Jane's sake, to see her have a peaceful reunion and not one filled with pain when she tells Madison who she was to her.

"I'm ready," I informed Alpha Arkane and opened a portal that showed our home unsure that Jane would want to return with us now.

"Take care Madison," Alpha Arkane said his goodbyes as he motioned with me into the portal.

I was surprised when I saw Jane follow us, as she did she gave me a look, a look that say it was better she let Madison know who she was until everything she had gone through eventually calm down.

"Thank you," I heard Madison behind us.

We all entered the portal and it closed taking us home.

I wasn't good yet at allowing the portal to take us where exactly I wanted to be, the portal took us to the land that belong to us but we had to walk to where our homes were.

"You can go Alpha Arkane, Salem and I will catch up on you soon," Jane stopped at her side.

Alpha Arkane looked at us for a minute, he nodded and left.

I was curious why Jane stopped me.

"What is wrong?" I asked worried.

Before Jane answered, he watched the alpha until he was out of our sight.

I was now becoming very worried.

"Jane," I called eager to know why she was now acting so strangely.

Jane's eyes went to mine and she held my hand pulling me behind her to a tall tree, she pulled me close to her as we stood under the tree.

"I have something I have to tell you, Salem," she said.

"What?" I asked.

Her head lowered as if she was afraid to tell me what it was.

"It's so hard to tell you, I fear it will hurt you," said Jane.

I lifted her face to mine.

"Nothing in this world can hurt me any more of what I've been through," I told her.

She nodded and exhaled from her mouth.

"It's about Alpha Arkane."

I was surprised what she wanted to tell me was about him.

"What about him?"

"He as a, one true mate, he loves, Salem."

I was so shocked that my body motioned from her, I was hit hard by the news.

"I don't want you to fall for him knowing he will never love you back Salem," said Jane.

"Why didn't he tell me?" I asked.

"I don't know," said Jane. "I was so surprised when you kissed him and even he too was, I saw it in his eyes how extreme he was."

For minutes that felt like half an hour Jane and I sat down under the tree, I couldn't believe the news. How sad was my life, after everything I've been through when I learn to love again, the person I love belonged to someone else.

"I'm sorry you had to know," apologized Jane, gently resting one of her hands against my shoulder.

"Does, he loves her?" I asked.

"Yes, with all his heart."

"She too?"

"Yes."

"Then why aren't they together?"

"Her alpha father doesn't want his daughter to be with a rogue."

I nodded.

"Come on let's go before the alpha starts to become worried about our whereabouts," said Jane.

She helped me up as she got up, going home. As we were about to enter the area where all the houses were, I saw Alpha Arkane, clean from the blood of The grey pack members leaving his house. He was so handsome. I had to stop to look at him, my eyes wanted to.

"Come, we need to get ourselves clean up," Jane pulled me.

"Alpha Arkane!" Jane and I heard a loud unfamiliar voice. We looked to our left and there we saw a beautiful dark hair female running to Alpha Arkane.

"Lydia," Alpha Arkane shouted and ran towards her, as they both got close their arms wrapped around each other, Alpha Arkane lift her into the air and they kissed. I held my heart, it felt like a wolf was slowly digging his claw into my heart.
