From Gamma to Luna

Chapter 74

Ch. 74 / 98 Jan 10, 2026

Erika’s POV

We discussed the details and worked out several options. The meeting was over.

Derek called in a few people to arrange accommodation and food for the rest of the Lumiere Pack members. They left the room. Derek, Alex, Bentley, and I went to lunch together.

We went into a private room and sat down.

I was surprised to find that Bentley and I had very similar tastes. It was probably because we shared the blood.

While we waited for our food to be served, we started to talk.

Both Bentley and Alex glowed when they found out that I could summon any weapon, and Alex was already working on a more suitable way for me to fight.

After dinner, Alex looked over at Derek and me, thought for a moment, and said, "You don't seem right today. Did you have a fight?"

Derek took me in his arms and said curtly, "We just don't see eye to eye on some things."

I shrugged in agreement. I knew there was nothing to blame Derek for. It was only a matter of time before Angel broke away from the pack. I just found it hard to accept.

Alex looked at Derek and then said to me, "If he makes you unhappy, you can always come to the Lumiere Pack. It's your home."

I nodded my head and my eyes grew wet. In my memory, I seldom heard people say this to me.

Tell Alex I will. Thank him very much. I mind-linked Derek.

Derek rolled his eyes at me.

I laughed at his reaction.

On the second day, Alex and Bentley stayed at the Blood Moon Pack. Richard contacted Alex and asked to meet him in the evening.

At the time, we were having lunch.

Derek put down his knife and fork and his face immediately became serious.

"Richard can't wait to die," Derek asked.

"This time he's been more discreet and chosen a place closer to his pack. And he's bringing some guards with him. Looks like you scared him last time." Alex said.

"Did he really think that's a surefire way to stay safe? That's so stupid! His packmates hate him more than we do," Derek sneered.

We finished our lunch quickly. Half an hour later, in the conference room.

"I've arranged for someone to contact their Gamma, they'll have more training tonight. No one will be there to help Richard, and Baron will be under surveillance. Once Richard is dead, my men can get to Baron and seal off his house," Derek said to Alex.

"Good. Then I'll be in charge of killing Richard. Since he's bringing guards, I can bring guards too."

At this point, I typed a line on my computer, "Can I go with you?"

Alex looked at me questioningly.

Without waiting for me to explain, Derek answered directly for me, "Alex, please leave the opportunity to kill Richard for Erika. Richard made her suffer a lot. She would like to take revenge by herself."

"Revenge? But is that safe?" Alex looked at me and said worriedly, "I've only just got you back and I don't want to put you in any danger."

Derek laughed. "Alex, you don't need to worry. I can guarantee that she won't have a problem killing Richard. No matter how many guards Richard brings with him, there won't be a problem."

Hearing this, Alex and Bentley both burst out laughing.

Suddenly a thought flashed through my mind.

"Isn't Baron going to meet you?" I tapped on my computer.

"No. Richard wanted to include Baron, but I refused. It's better to do it separately." Alex replied.

"Why not include him? We can play a game with them." I showed them the screen with a sly smile on my face.

The appointed time had come.

This time they agreed to meet in a hotel room.

Derek and I hid next door early. Over the course of the afternoon, we were making preparations. Now, all we had to do was wait for them to show up and we'd have them all in one place.

Soon they were all there.

Alex started talking to them. After less than ten minutes, they were interrupted, of course, by me and Derek.

Derek and I tumbled out of the window and into their room.

"Richard, good evening, my old partner, and so many new friends," Derek said with a smile.

I summoned two swords with a cold face, then raised an eyebrow at Richard.

"You! You're the one who followed us that day, right?" Alex said, pointing at Derek as if he only just recognized him.

Without saying anything, Derek immediately reached out and sent lightning bolts in Alex's direction.

Alex quickly used gift and dodged the attack.

Richard called all the guards outside, but it was too late. The next second, I was in front of him. In a flash, I had both swords at his neck. He tried to resist but didn't dare to move.

Richard looked over me at the guards and signaled for them to sneak up on me. Of course, he didn't succeed. Derek stood behind me and quickly took care of the guards so that no one could get to me.

"Richard, Erika wants you to guess which sword will kill you," Derek said as he turned to Richard.

"No, Erika! You wouldn't do that, would you? We grew up together! I was jealous of you, but I never really wanted to hurt you! You can't do this! I'm the Alpha of the Fly Rock Pack and you don't dare kill me!" Richard was already crazy. His body was shaking so badly that he soon couldn't stand straight. What a coward!

"Richard, you deserve this," Derek said to him.

Now I felt very sorry that I couldn't say harsh words to him because I couldn't speak.

"No!" Richard said and then began to fight one last time. His red eyes were flailing, the veins in his neck were popping, and tears were streaming down his face.

I struck both hands simultaneously, ending Richard's life.

Blood splattered on my face as I took my revenge without blinking my eyes.
