Angel’s POV
Elsa turned around and walked ahead.
After passing through some buildings and making some turns, we stopped in front of a tower.
“Erika, this is Elsa. She’s the alpha’s sister.”
It was actually two buildings connected together in a beautiful style. I looked at the buildings in awe. My goddess, I liked the style. Somehow I began to imagine what it would be like to live in this place.
“Angel,” Erika shook my arms slightly and looked at me in confusion.
I turned my gaze from the building to her.
“Angel, you live in this place, don’t you?” she asked tentatively.
“Of course, I’m sorry. I’m just a little tired because of the training,” I explained.
It was my first time here, and I had to pretend that I had lived here for a long time. That was too difficult for me.
We walked into the pack house.
“So where’s your room?” Erika walked around and asked.
“Well…” I turned to look at Elsa. Goddess knew which one was my room, because I got no room here. My room was in the building closest to the training ground.
Elsa looked at us and said with a smile, “According to the pack rules, the outsiders are not allowed to go upstairs in the pack house.”
“OK,” Erika shrugged.
We stopped walking around and sat on a sofa. A servant came out and gave us coffee.
We began to chat.
Soon, the door opened. It was Francis and Derek.
It was time for dinner. We walked to the dining room.
However, Elsa gestured for me to wait for a second.
Now we were alone, she began to ask me, “You’ve known it, right?”
“What?” I asked, although I vaguely knew what she was talking about.
“Yes, you already knew it,” Elsa said in the affirmative and sighed, “He broke the rules. I see what happened.”
“So what?” I asked. I just couldn’t understand the rules. Why were there so many rules? What for? Without these rules, I might be a girl in love now.”
“Angel, I’ll keep it the secret. But don’t let anyone else know it until the ceremony.”
I shrugged. Would it happen as planned? I doubted that.
When I walked to the table, the only seat for me was the one beside Francis.
Seeing that I came over, Francis stood up, pulled the chair, and asked me to sit down.
I smiled at him while gritting my teeth.
What a hypocrite!
After I sat down, I pulled my chair toward him so that we were very close. I put my hands behind his back and gave him a hard squeeze.
Francis’ face changed slightly, but he soon changed his expression back and smiled. He pulled my hands away from his back and held my hands in his hands.
“That’s a little too much. Stop it, Francis,” Derek rolled his eyes and complained.
I blushed at his words, so I tried to withdraw my hands from Francis, but he refused. Instead, he held my hands tighter.
I shot him a glance, only to see that the smile on his face grew brighter.
“You’re just being jealous, aren’t you? because you two did nothing but fight most of the time,” Francis made fun of them.
Derek narrowed his eyes, while Erika burst out into laughter.
“Actually, I think fighting is good between mates, and I really want to try it,” I said and looked at Francis.
The smile on Francis’ face froze.
At this moment, Derek burst out into a smile.
“I have good news to tell you,” Erika said with a big smile on her face.
“What?” We all looked at her with curiosity.
“We’re going to have a pup,” she said with her hand on Derek’s shoulders.
That was amazing.
“Technically, that’s his birthday gift,” Erika smiled.
“Wow, congratulations!”
“Just for your information, The doctor said that Erika was not in a stable condition, so no one is going to fight her or bring her bad emotions,” Derek said with a serious tone. When he was speaking, he shot me a meaningful glance.
I nodded speechlessly.
“So, how does your relationship work out? Tell us about it, in detail,” Erika asked.
Soon, everyone was looking at me.
I turned to look at Francis, “Tell them about it!”
