Derek's POV
I stared at him, unleashing my Alpha aura and suppressing him. "Finally got you."
He instinctively wanted to bite down on me. I seized the opportunity to jam the gun handle into his mouth. My voice was cold and biting, "Still trying to end it all? Dream on!"
When his plan failed, the man tried to elbow me in the chest.
I'd been failed before. But this time, I was fully prepared and didn't give him a chance at all.
I was ruthless, but he was even more so. In the darkness, I heard the sound of bones dislocating as I stopped his move and broke his wrist.
After a few rounds, he was under my control. I smelled the scent of a fellow werewolf on him.
No wonder he escaped from that trap!
He must be an extraordinary fighter among werewolves.
The man still tried to use his other hand to grab his phone and send a message. I kicked his leg, forcing him to kneel.
The next second, his phone was in my hand.
People gradually entered the room, and I coldly ordered, "Keep an eye on him, don't let him kill himself."
"Yes," Alvin replied coldly, but his hand that grabbed the man had a new scar.
He had been on the brink of death, almost losing his life.
Rolf also became more composed after this incident. He was silent and cautious.
Rolf took out the rope and started tying the man up, just in case he tried to escape again.
Such vigilance was necessary.
I took his phone and started to crack it, only to find that fingerprints and facial recognition were useless. It required a very complex gesture password.
I snorted coldly, "Quite cautious. Shall I help you or will you do it yourself?"
He looked stubborn and defiant, "I have nothing to say. You might as well kill me."
"Kill you? Dream on!" I grabbed his collar with my fingers and said, "I'll make you pay for what you've done. Death would be the best relief for you. It doesn't matter if you don't talk. It'll just take some time."
"Search this apartment thoroughly and find someone cracked his phone password."
"Yes."
I took him directly to the dark room, dragging an iron chair to sit across from that man.
I held a stack of documents, looking like a strict drill instructor.
The documents were the man's resume. He was once the most mysterious werewolf special forces soldier, codenamed Black Fox.
He was proficient in naval, land, and air combat and was once a Gamma in a pack.
He disappeared five years ago. He fell off a cliff during a mission and lost track. And he has been living under a false name ever since.
"Black Fox, I've heard of you." I put down the documents, "Since you haven't defected from your pack, why don't you go back? Who have you been working for all these years?"
Black Fox just looked up at me, a chill in his eyes, "Do you think I'll talk?"
"There are millions of ways to make people talk. Which one do you prefer?"
"It's useless. Since you know my identity, you should know that we werewolves are not afraid of threats."
"I know you're tough. But Black Fox, you've been away from the werewolf world for five years. Don't you know that the methods of interrogation are not just about coercion and temptation nowadays?"
I took out a syringe, "This is the latest drug developed specifically for werewolves. After taking it, you will lose consciousness and obey. So you'll do anything I let you to. And if I ask you to tell the truth, you'll obediently tell it. I'm getting old and can't stand such a ruthless scene. You tell me, shall you talk or shall I ask you to talk?"
Black Fox's eyes were colder, "There's no such drug in this world."
"Huh, whether there is or not, you'll find out." I approached Black Fox with the syringe, whispering in his ear, "Soon, you'll know what it's like to suffer more than death."
