Alpha's Wife Hunt

Chapter 512

Ch. 512 / 840 May 06, 2026

Third person's POV

No one knew better than Ambrose how deeply Andrea had been committed to him.

He could still remember the way Andrea displayed those precious artworks she had collected from all over the world in front of him as if they were her treasures.

At that time, Andrea, with her innate pride, tried hard to restrain herself, with a corner of her mouth that couldn't help but rise.

"Ambrose, look! This is the work of a master. I went through a lot of trouble to get it."

Back then, Andrea's eyes seemed to sparkle with light, proud as the sun in the sky.

When did she start to change?

Once as passionate as the scorching sun, she now had become as cool as the moonlight, with no trace of obsession for him in her eyes.

She even casually mentioned disposing of them.

"Andrea!" Ambrose felt a surge of anger within him.

Andrea lazily looked at him, "I'm dealing with my own things. Do you have a problem with that?"

Without waiting for Ambrose to answer, Andrea added coldly, "If you do, keep it to yourself! I bought them with my own money. They have nothing to do with you."

With that, Andrea turned and left without any hesitation.

Ambrose watched the direction she left, feeling a complex mix of emotions he couldn't quite put into words.

Phoebe noticed his thoughts.

This man was just like that, not cherishing what he had before. But now, Andrea seemed indifferent to him. He was uncomfortable with it.

"Ambrose, is Andrea angry with me? Let's not stay here, then. I think the upstairs is quite good, as well."

"There's no need; stay if you like it," Ambrose comforted Phoebe, pushing aside the strange feelings in his heart.

Phoebe sniffed, "Then I'll apologize to her later."

"Don't worry about her, she's just temperamental," Ambrose said indifferently.

Phoebe smiled triumphantly in his arms. After waiting for so many years, she had finally gotten what she wanted!

There was just one last step left - to drive Andrea out of here. Then, she would be a legitimate and essential one in the Greenwood family.

Tabitha returned to her room and learned about the news, hurrying to ask, "Mom, are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Every item in that room seems to mock how foolish I was in the past. I didn't want to stay there long before, but I also didn't want the money I spent to benefit these people. I'll deal with it all someday."

Seeing that Andrea was not upset at all, Tabitha was finally relieved. "Alpha Elliott let us cooperate with Derek, to wait and see. And not to attract any attention. He went after the mastermind behind this, who is likely related to Zander."

Andrea's eyes darkened, "As expected, the child of a villain is also a villain. I knew he was involved in this!"

"He deliberately replaced Derek's face with AI technology to make us believe Derek was in his place. It's likely that the scene was chaotic at the time. So he thought Derek was dead, which is why he dared to return so arrogantly."

"We don't know what Derek's plan is. Let's just keep it between the three of us. Don't disrupt Derek's plan."

"I got it."

Tabitha responded obediently. In any case, as long as Derek was safe and sound, that was all that mattered.

She was in the open, and the mastermind was in the shadows. They had no better plan other than to go with the flow.

"Mom, are you really going to sleep here tonight?"

"What? Afraid your bed won't fit?"

"Of course not, I'm just afraid you won't sleep well."

Andrea reached out and touched Tabitha's head, "When I was in the Black Thorn Pack before, there was a Beta whose daughter was about your age. I liked her very much at the time, but she also left. To be honest, I see you as my own daughter, so don't be a stranger to me. You can tell me anything and make any requests."

Tabitha nodded. Was it her illusion?

Why did she feel a sense of guilt in Andrea's eyes?
