Third person's POV
Under the glow of the fire, the sea resembled a roaring beast.
Jenny recounted the situation, "Madam, before our people could get close, there was an explosion at Mr. Greenwood's location. Amidst the flames, I heard gunfire. By the time we rushed over, the situation was already out of control. We didn't have gas masks, and the fire was too intense, with snipers ready in the distance, so..."
Jenny's eyes were filled with regret. Neither Derek nor Andrea had anticipated that the enemy would be so ruthless and meticulous, leaving no room for maneuver.
They exploited Derek's desire to capture them alive, digging a massive trap for him to fall into.
Andrea's expression was grave as she said, "I heard that a few months ago, they deployed hundreds of elite mercenaries to assassinate Tabitha. Now that Tabitha has left America, not only did they quickly find out about her movements, but they also prepared everything in such a short time. Who exactly is this person?"
"Whoever it is, they're certainly not ordinary. We've underestimated our opponent this time. Now, we can only hope that Alpha Derek will be safe."
The helicopter circled in the air, unable to land in these conditions, leaving Andrea feeling extremely agitated.
"Investigate, dig into it relentlessly. I want to know who dares to do this to Derek."
Andrea's brows furrowed, "Look into the direction of that illegitimate child. He has the motive."
"Understood, Madam.

Late at night. On the terrace of the hotel's presidential suite. A person wearing a bathrobe, clutching a wine glass, took a leisurely sip.
Looking down at everything beneath his feet, the feeling was exhilarating.

Everyone in Thunder Pack hardly slept all night. And Tabitha stayed awake, waiting with her eyes open.
Her phone was right beside her. How she longed to hear that familiar ringtone.
But she waited all night, from dusk till dawn, and in the end, she still waited in vain.
The servant urged her, "Tabitha, take a rest, or at least have breakfast."
Her abdomen had ached several times last night, and now it seemed numb to the pain.
Tabitha mechanically turned her head to look at the servant, "I can't eat."
"It's Madam who asked me to invite you to have a meal downstairs."
Upon hearing it was Andrea's command, Tabitha quickly went downstairs.
Andrea sat at the dining table as usual, "Mom, any news?"
"The fire was extinguished in the latter half of the night. They found several charred bodies, which have been sent for examination."
Upon hearing the word "bodies," Tabitha felt her vision darken, and she nearly fell from the stairs.
Fortunately, Jenny was quick to catch her, "Tabitha, you need to stay calm. No one said it's Alpha Derek."
Tabitha was helped to the dining table, where Alpha Elliott was unusually having breakfast with them together today.
In just one night, he had aged significantly, but he still patiently comforted Tabitha.
"That boy won't be taken down so easily. Sit down and eat first."
Both Andrea and Alpha Elliott had great faith in Derek, but Tabitha didn't understand where their trust came from.
She slowly sat down as instructed, picked up a glass of milk, and drank it hastily, "Grandpa, when will the examination results come out?"
Alpha Elliott glanced at his watch, "Soon."
Tabitha's grip on the spoon tightened.
Just then, the butler rushed in, "Alpha Elliott, Ambrose and his family have arrived."
Upon hearing the name, Alpha Elliott's eyes widened in anger, "Who let them in? Don't we have enough chaos here? Get them out, make them leave immediately!"
