Alpha's Caged Love

Atleast someone is happy

Ch. 111 / 159 May 05, 2026

Max and Kylie sat under the shade of a towering oak tree. The air was heavy with anticipation as they contemplated the looming war that threatened to tear their world apart. Max was feeling restless, so they went out for a walk through the forest. She could feel his emotions during the funeral. Even though she didn't like Natasha, she never wished for her death.

She swallowed down the lump in her throat and straightened her shoulder.

"Are you alright?" she asked quietly.

"Yeah, I am fine," he said, and she nodded her head, acknowledging that things were grim.

They stared at each other silently for a long moment, and then Max moved, reaching for her and pulling her tightly against him.

"Kylie," he whispered.

There was a war looming, and he had to coordinate so many things. The emotions made his head spin, and all he could do was hold his precious woman and breathe in her sweet scent of peaches and cream, wondering if he'd ever see her again.

"You should leave Kylie; it's not safe here."

She framed his face gently in her delicate hands.

"I swear if you tell me one more time to leave, I will..."

Max raised an eyebrow.

"I will kick you in the balls!"

Max chuckled and kissed her forehead.

"Kylie," Max began, his voice filled with concern, "it's not just our pack that will be affected. The danger will be widespread, and everyone we hold dear will be at risk."

Kylie's eyes met his, and a determined glint shone through. "Max," she replied resolutely, "I am ready to face any danger that comes our way. I don't want to be separated from you, not now, never."

Max's heart swelled with love and admiration for the courageous spirit of his mate. Yet he couldn't ignore the harsh realities that accompanied their precarious situation. He took a deep breath before continuing. "Kylie, I understand your bravery, but as a human, your survival in this war will be incredibly difficult. The enemies we face are relentless. Oscar and Michelle betrayed Cayden. I don't know who will be next. I can't protect you enough."

"Are you implying that I am a liability?" Kylie narrowed her eyes.

"Hell no! I don't mean that. You can never be a liability. I just worry about your safety." Max explained, his voice filled with concern.

Kylie's determination didn't waver as she looked deep into Max's eyes. "I don't want to be a liability," she insisted. "I refuse to stand idly by while you and the pack fight for our lives. Max, I want you to turn me into a werewolf."

Max was stunned by her request. She would eventually have to turn if they wanted to remain together, but he didn't want to force Kylie. Turning a human into a werewolf was no small matter, and it required the approval of the Alpha—the leader of their pack. He knew he couldn't make such a life-altering choice without consulting Cayden and seeking his guidance.

"Kylie," Max replied cautiously, "what you're asking is not a simple decision. It involves risks and consequences that we must consider. I cannot turn you into a werewolf without the Alpha's approval. It's a choice that affects both of us and the entire pack."

Kylie's resolve was unwavering, and her gaze was fixed.

"Max, I get it. I've put a lot of thought into this. I am certain of my decision. I'll join forces with you to protect what we have and not be a burden. Please talk to Cayden. Let's wait and see what he thinks."

Max couldn't help but admire Kylie's determination and her unwavering belief in their love and their bond. He knew he had to make her understand the weight of this choice. "Kylie, becoming a werewolf is a lifelong commitment. It means leaving behind your humanity and embracing the primal instincts that come with being part of the pack. It's not a decision to be taken lightly."

Kylie's voice softened as she reached out to touch Max's hand. "Max, I have decided. I know the risks, and I will face them. I love you, and I want to be with you, no matter the cost."

Max's heart swelled with conflicting emotions. He loved Kylie more than anything, and the thought of her becoming a werewolf brought both joy and concern. He couldn't deny her plea, but he also couldn't dismiss the potential dangers that lay ahead.

"Kylie," Max said, his voice filled with a mix of love and apprehension, "I will speak to Cayden about your request. But promise me this: when the time comes, you will not jeopardise your safety."

Kylie's eyes shimmered with tears, and a smile touched her lips. "I promise, Max." She threw her arms around him.

They remained like that. She tightened her grip on him. Frustration and tension were coming off her in waves. Max didn't know if holding her was making it better or worse.

"What do you want for dinner?" He asked to dispel the tension.

Kylie broke away from him.

"I want to have sex with you," Kylie said.

Max hadn't expected her to be so blunt. He reached out and took her hand.

"Are you sure?" Max said.

"I've never been surer of anything. I know what I want; it is you," Kylie said. "I love every part of you. I love your human side that is trying to be rational, and I love your animal side that wants you to act on your every desire. I don't want one side of you; I want everything. I need everything. Make love to me right here."

He caught her lips by continuing to kiss her with a deliberately slow passion. Max felt her fingers come up, working on the buttons on his shirt. Her hands were steady, and she was taking her time. Once they were undone, he pulled them off himself. Then he pulled back and took off his undershirt.

Kylie stood up for a moment. She pulled her dress off with a single motion and was left in her pants and bra. She came back and sat down on the soft grass as Max undid his belt and pulled off his pants and socks.

They continued kissing for a while. Max did not want to move too fast, and Kylie seemed to enjoy herself. Taking it all in. Eventually, Max reached behind her and unclasped her bra. He slid the straps down and kissed her shoulders. Max felt her hands on the waistband of his boxers and helped her slide them off. Only one article of clothing remained. Max's hand was steady when he removed Kylie's pants.

She turned herself onto her back and pulled Max on top of her. She spread her legs and bent her knees, lining Max up with her entrance. He could feel how damp she was. Max kept his eyes on her and pressed himself against her. His head slid inside, and Kylie let out a little gasp. She was so tight that Max feared hurting her. He kept himself still and felt her walls stretch around him. Then he pushed a little deeper, the entire time keeping his eyes on her face, looking for any sign for him to stop.

She let out a loud moan. Max started kissing her again, trying to keep himself still and acclimatise her to his entry.

"Are you alright?" Max asked.

Kylie looked up at him with her big blue eyes.

"Yeah, just that it's been a long time."

She lifted her arms around his back and started rubbing up and down. Max dropped his head to kiss her again and started moving in and out of her, moving at a slow pace and never moving too far out. He kept his hip bones low, trying to make sure he was brushing against her clitoral area with every stroke.

She was responding and moved her hips with his. Max increased his pace, and he felt her hands clamp down on his back, urging him to go faster. She felt so good that Max was certain he was on sensory overload. He was close, but he refused to give in until she was taken care of. He pressed his hips against her harder, and she let out another gasp. He rocked back and forth, and her hands continued to grab at his back. He picked up his pace even more and felt the sweat develop on his brow. She let out one last gasp, and Max felt her tight walls get even tighter as they contracted around him. He let out a low growl and felt himself explode inside her.

Max collapsed on top of Kylie. He could feel her fingertips lightly tracing his back. He did not want to pull out of her but felt himself shrink, knowing he would fall out soon after Max retreated, then turned on his back. Kylie turned to him and cuddled up under his arm.

"I love you," she said.

Hearing those words on her lips chased away all of Max's fears. He didn't think about the council, the war, or any of the pack issues. He was with his mate, and that was all that mattered.

Just as he was about to fall into a stupor, a blood-curdling scream pierced through the tranquility of the forest. They both froze, their instincts on high alert.

Max's wolf's senses heightened, and he rose to his feet in an instant, scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger. Kylie's heart raced in her chest as fear and concern gripped her. She clutched Max's arm, her eyes wide with alarm.

"Max, what was that?" Kylie asked, her voice trembling.

Max's voice was steady, though his eyes betrayed his worry. "I'm not sure, but we need to find out. Stay close to me, Kylie."
