Pregnant Billionaire Heiress Gave Birth To Twins

Dirty house

Ch. 153 / 286 Apr 29, 2026

"I forget to tell you. She said that Desmond is not responsible for her pregnancy."

"This can't be true! Desmond is the father. She got pregnant while dating him. I'm sure of that."

"I'm serious. Her boyfriend is the father of the baby. They planned and put it on Desmond so she could easily get into our family." Bella said, and her mother felt a sharp pain in her chest.

The pregnancy was the main reason she made him divorce Anabel to marry her. Now, it looked as if she had lost everything. Anabel was a perfect daughter-in-law. She respects and takes care of her like her mother even when she treats her bad.

"I made him divorce Anabel because I thought Daniella was pregnant for him. All this time, she was playing us... playing my son. How could I have been so blind? How could I have let this happen? Desmond must be very mad at me now."

"What do we do now, Mom?" Bella leaned back. "How do we fix this? Daniella is going to take half of everything Desmond owns." Bella said, and Mrs. Elizabeth sat in silence for a moment and began to think of a solution.

"First, we need to visit Desmond. He’s going to need us now more than ever. He’s already been through so much. We have to find a way to help him without making things worse."

"I won’t let Daniella get away with this, Mom." Bella declared. "She used us, manipulated us, and tore our family apart. She thinks she has won, but I will find a way to fight back."

Desmond was sitting on the couch, looking round his sitting room. His house was a reflection of his current state. It looked utterly neglected and disordered.

It had been days since Daniella filed for divorce, leaving behind a storm of emotional devastation. At first, Desmond had tried to maintain some sense of normalcy, convincing himself that he could manage, but he couldn't. He hasn't even visited his company.

The house was looking untidy and unorganized. Dishes were piled up in the kitchen sink, untouched since Daniella’s departure. Dust had gathered on the furniture, and the once-pristine floors were now looking dull and lifeless.

Desmond didn't notice all that until today. He had been too consumed by his thoughts. Each of his steps in his own house felt like he was walking through the wreckage of his life.

He spent most of his time sitting on the couch, staring blankly at the TV without really watching it. Meals were an afterthought. He orders all his food, leaving containers scattered around. The bedroom was no better. Clothes were scattered across the floor, and the bed remained unmade.

For the first time in days, he realized just how messed up his house was looking. Desmond picked up his phone and browsed through the Internet, searching for the nearest cleaning agency. He found one and tapped the number, then pressed call.

The phone rang a few times before a feminine voice answered. "Hello, thank you for calling Sparkling Solutions Cleaning Agency. This is Anita. How can I assist you today?"

"My name is Desmond. I need a cleaner in my house. It’s... well, it’s kind of a mess right now." Desmond answered.

"Alright. You are in the right place. Can you tell me a bit about your home and the services you are looking for?" Anita asked,.

"It’s a mansion, but the whole building doesn't need the cleaning. Only my room, bathroom, kitchen, and sitting room need cleaning. It's been... neglected for a while." Desmond answered.

"It's alright, Mr. Desmond. Our deep cleaning service covers all areas, including dusting, scrubbing, sanitizing, and organizing. When would you like us to come by?" Anita asked, and Desmond glanced around the room. "As soon as possible."

"Let me check our availability. Please hold on for some seconds." Anita said and Desmond began to hear a faint sound of typing clicking in the background. After a moment, she returned. "We have someone available and very close to your Street. But first, you will pay fifty dollars for booking and inspection which is not refundable. We will send her over once you make payment. Are you okay with that?"

"Yes." Desmond replied quickly. "That's perfect. I will make the payment now."

"Great. I’ll just need your address and confirmation of the payment to pass the booking," Anita said.

Desmond provided the information, and quickly made the payment.

"Thank you, Mr. Desmond. Someone will come before thirty minutes. If you have any questions or complaints, feel free to call us."

"Thank you." Desmond replied and ended the call, feeling somehow relieved.
