I should have missed pn the opportunity to see alpha Luke and his company. I should have known since this morning that Leander would not give something away for free. Instead, I had to go and beg for the chance to get to see them. I could not help it. The past couple of weeks have been stressful to say the least. Being locked up in that room all day long with nothing but my phone or the tv too its toll on me. I was a home body but that did not mean I did not enjoy my walks every now and then. Anyway, I was now stuck on the couch, with Leander sitting right in front of me. I had a very good idea about the theme of his “something in return”. I just had no idea what it was going to be exactly.
“Why are you looking at me that way?” I ask. He has been giving me this weird look as if I was his pray and I am starting to grow tired from fidgeting in my seat.
“I am thinking of ways to enjoy you, mutt.” He replies as if it was the most natural thing in the world. “What is that supposed to mean?” I defensively demand.
“It means I am debating what my reward should be. I am giving you something meaningful after all. So my reward has to be just as that. It’s only fair right?” He asks while pressing his finger to his chin.
“This is not a friends with benefits, Leander.” I reprimand.
“We certainly are not, Morena. We are more like enemies with benefits. You annoy me and I keep you locked up. But somehow we are both under the charm of being mates and we are attracted to each other. Physically. This wherever it is going to go it is going to remain purely physical. I give you benefits, you give me pleasure. It is the only way it is going to be. If you ever cross your limits you get punished.” He threatened.
“You are a monster.” I whisper knowing fully well he can hear me.
“Yet, your so called moon goddess matched you with me. Not so thoughtful of her, I guess.” He mocks.
“Not only you are a cruel man who dismisses his mate every chance he gets, you also do not believe in the moon goddess. What a fucking joke.” I reply rolling my eyes in disgust.
In a split second he was on me. His large hand was around my neck and he was hovering over me, towering my small frame with his much larger one.
“Listen carefully, mutt. My body might react when I am around you. And you might make my dick hard but that does not mean in any way that you get to disrespect me. I am the fucking alpha. Your fucking alpha. Werewolves around the world fear me no matter how strong they are. If you do not cut off this kind of behavior, I might show you the reason why they call me the obsidian alpha.” he yelled at my face. his voice dripping of venom. I am sure my eyes are bulging out their sockets right now. I was terrified. He was fully capable of snapping my neck in two. I have over stepped my limits. I was scared shitless until I was not
anymore. The feeling of fear was slowly dissipating away as Osk howled in my head at the proximity of her mate.
“Do you assume because I fucked you once and my dick seems to harden around you that I would hesitate in snapping your neck?” He hisses. His breath was tickling my neck and I fight off a shiver that threatened to run down my spine. He releases his grip on my throat. and I attempt to get up but his body blocks me. I could feel his erection nudging on the side of my thign and I stifle a groan.
“I can smell how turned on you are, Morena.” He growls in my ear his hand travelling to my neck again. But this time he wraps it gently. “You drive me fucking nuts, mutt.”
His free hand travels up my leg as he presses further into me. “I bet you are soaking wet. I can smell it.” He whispers. His finger tips were now drawing small circles on the edge of my panties. I was growing hotter with every touch. My skin was feeling like it was aflame? I was suffocating in my dress.
“Fuck!” He bites out when his fingers finally come in direct contact with my drenched panties. He runs his fingers up and down across the fabric. Each fraction getting me more and more unhinged. His lips dropping feather kisses on my exposed neck was not helping either.
He abruptly get up just when I was about to muster up enough courage to pull him into a kiss. “Get up and sit up properly.” He orders as he fixes himself.
“What? I ask confused as I avert my eyes from the erection fighting against the fabric of his pants.
“Asher is in front of the door. Unless you want him to see you like the mess you are right now, get up and fix yourself up.” He comments looking at me. His orbs were shifting from black to gold. Serves him right. I should not be the only one getting affected by this.
“Okay.” I whisper getting up and fixing my dress. I head to the window and see my reflection. I was looking a mess. My face was flustered and my hair was a mess. My ponytail was now loose. I give myself a small pep talk in attempt to calm down the waves of emotions that were going through me. I hope Asher will not see my raging blush if he comes in.
I take off the hair band in an attempt to fix the ruined ponytail just as I hear Leander open the door behind me.
