Victoria's POV
Quickly, I turned around as I felt my hands shaking with the bowl.
With fear, I closed my eyes and tried to get the image out of my head, but it wasn't working, rather it kept flashing in my head.
''Shit.'' I whispered in fear and swallowed nervously at the thought of what would happen to me.
I heard sounds and movement behind me, and I could tell he was trying to cover himself up.
Out of Frustration, I heard him groaned in anger for a while before he spoke up
''Turn around.'' He ordered in an angry tune, quickly I turned around with my gaze lowered to the floor with fear.
''You…'' He paused in anger and stopped himself from saying what he wanted to say.
In fear, I licked my lower lips and made a silence prayer to the moon goddess to save me this time, and fortunately, she heard me because I noticed Alpha Derick sat on the bed with his gaze on me which I couldn't meet.
''Are you going to just stand there.'' He asked in anger
''Yes… No…'' I stammered in fear and knelled on the floor before moving closer to him with my knees.
Quickly, I put down the bowl of water on the floor before him, and await his direction.
I noticed he groaned softly before bringing his left foot to me, which I quickly took and put in the water.
Quickly, I washed his left foot while my hands kept shaking in fear.
I finished washing the left foot, and reluctantly he gave me the right foot to me, like he was being forced to do it.
Quickly, I washed his right foot and stood up from the floor with the bowl of water in my hands.
I noticed his eyes were closed for a while before he opened them and groaned angrily.
''I believe you know you have only two days left.''he spoke angrily.
I swallowed nervously but didn't say a word because I was tired of explaining myself to him.
''Hear me now I'm trying to be reasonable with you, If you don't undo this charm, then don't blame me when I show you how brutal I can be.'' He spoke in a low threatening voice while I did not say a word, neither did I make a sound.
''Leave.''quickly I turned around and walked as fast as my feet could carry me out of the room.
The moment I closed his door, I sighed in relief and rested my back on the door. Slowly I gain back my breath before walking away.
I kept back the bowl and met mother in the kitchen, she noticed my presence and gave me a quizzical look before going back to what she was doing.
Tiredly, I sat on a chair and went into deep thought. The accusation levelled against me was a serious one, and I knew I need to run away before I pay for a crime I never committed.
''Victoria.''mother's words snapped me out of my thought.
''Yes Mother.'' I replied and moved my gaze to her, only to realized that She was staring at me with a questioning look.
''Did you hear what I just said.''
''I was lost with something, what did you say.' I asked while rubbing the back of my neck
''I smell something fishy.'' she stopped whatever she was doing and folded her arms while she stared at me with curiosity
''I don't know what you are talking about.'' I murmured
''Really.'' She asked in disbelief
''I just hope you haven't done anything that will land us in trouble.''when I heard those words from her, I scoffed and rolled my eyes, but I did not say a word to her.
When she noticed I wasn't going to say anything, she sighed heavily and went back to what she was doing.
We finished preparing breakfast in total silence, while none of us said a word to each other.
''Do you want me to do anything else for you.'' I asked Tiredly
''Nothing for now.''
''I will be around if you need me for anything.'' Mom nodded her head to my word as I left.
I left the kitchen and was on my way to my room when I saw Sonia walking towards my direction
''I was on my way to the kitchen.''she spoke up
''Why, why are you here this early.'' I asked
She scoffed and stared at me with unbelieve
''Don't tell me you've forgotten.''she murmured
I stared at her with my eyebrows furrowed confused
''Forgotten what.'' I asked while cracking my brains to know if I've forgotten something important, but nothing came to my memory.
''So you mean you just forgot that there is a wolfly meeting, and it's about to start.'' The moment I heard those words from her, I sighed heavily and rolled my eyes before speaking up
''And what's my business there.''
''Don't say that, you are a female in this pack, and it's a must that every young female wolf should be in that meeting…'' I did not let her finish when I cut her off
''I'm glad you made mention of every female wolf, as you know I'm not one, so I see no need of me going there, unless You want me to be humiliated.''
''No one is going to humiliate you, we are having that meeting in order to start preparing for the arrival of our Luna, you know alpha Derick is back and very soon he would announce Emma as his Luna.'' The Moment I heard those words from her, all that has happening in the past few days played in my head, but I totally ignored it.
''Vicky let's go, I promise you, you are going to love it.'' She pleaded as she held my left wrist and dragged me along with her
''I don't want to go.'' I murmured as she dragged me out of the Mansion
''Don't worry you are with me no one will trouble you, I promise you that.'' She assured me, which made me sighed tiredly and followed her out of the mansion.
''We are having the meeting in the pack hall, and it's just a stone throw from here.'' She said those words while I grumbled and followed her behind.
