''Call me when you get home, okay.''
''I will.'' Emma kissed me on the cheek before entering the car.
''Bye.'' I waved my hand to her as I watch the car leave.
I stood there and watch the car disappear from my sight while I wondered what happened last night.
A thing like that has never happened, I have never lost control of my wolf before, but last night I couldn't control it and thanks to the moon goddess that I didn't injure Emma in the process.
Slowly, I closed my eyes and tried accessing my wolf, but he shut himself away from me.
''Damn you.'' I groaned angrily and turned around while walking away with no particular location in my mind.
With my hands in my pocket, I walked around the mansion while I nod my head to greetings from the workers in the mansion.
''Mate.'' My silent wolf howled with excitement
''Shut up, you are being possessed.'' I groaned angrily while as an alluring scent passed through my nose, and without being told I knew it was her, and she was nearby.
''Mate.'' He called out again, but I totally ignored him and continued walking away.
I took a few steps only to notice her walking towards my way With a basket of laundry in her hands.
I stopped and took a proper look at her, this time her black Long hair were poured on her shoulders, she was putting on a black tight jean and a sea blue crop dress which matches the color of her Eyes.
Taking a proper look at her, it was obvious she was set to go out.
''You, come here.'' I ordered while ordering her with my finger
Immediately she met eyes with me, I noticed her gulped in fear while she took a step backwards
''I don't like repeating myself.'' I threatened
Realizing the seriousness in my voice she slowly took few steps forward and stood before me making sure she was keeping a distance
''Good day alpha.'' She greeted with her head lowered to the ground
''Mine.'' My wolf whispered to me, but I totally ignored him.
''Raise your head, I want you to look me in the eyes while I speak to you.'' I ordered
Slowly, I noticed her raised her head and met eyes with me with frightening eyes.
''Who are you.'' I asked in anger
''My name is Victoria, daughter of the cook.'' She replied in fear.
When I heard those words from her, I groaned angrily and took a step closer to her
''You know what I meant, who the hell are you and what have you done to my wolf.'' I asked in a threatening voice
''I did nothing alpha, I'm just an ordinary and Wolf less girl, what can I do.'' She spoke in a pleading tune
''I know your type of girls, You act innocent, but you are not, deep down I know there is an evil in you.'' I yelled and took another step closer to her while she swallowed nervously and moved her gaze down
''Three days, I give you three days to undo whatever spell or charm you've cast on my wolf, or you will live to face the consequences because I, Derick Luciano will never accept you as my mate.'' I expressed those words as a threat before walking pass her, but made sure I brushed her with my arm which made her to fell on the floor with the basket of clothes scattered around.
''Mate.'' My wolf whimpered in pains as I walked away
''Shut up, just fucking shut up.'' I yelled at him, howling angrily, he shut himself away from me.
''Better.'' I murmured in anger as I kept walking away.
If she doesn't undo whatever she did, I will make sure I kill her with no hesitation, I can't let someone who practices witchcraft live among us.
''Good day alpha.'' Anthony, My beta greeted
I nodded my head to his greetings and kept on walking while he walked beside me.
''Your office is set and everything has been arranged.'' He announced
''Good.'' Was the only thing that came out of my mouth as I kept on walking.
I noticed he followed me behind without saying a word until turned around and faced him
''You've been here all your life, can you tell me the punishment for one who practice witchcraft and charms.'' I asked
''There are two punishments for this offense.'' He replied
''Explain.'' I asked curiously
''If the charms the person used is on an Alpha or the person used the witchcraft to take the life of someone, then that person would be stoned to death. But if the charm is used on a pack member and the witchcraft wasn't used to kill anyone that that person will be banished from the pack, but the alpha has the final say in all this.'' He explained.
''I see.'' I nod my head and began walking away,
If she knew this law, then why would she even think of using charms on me without having the fear of being killed.
''Greetings alpha Derick.'' A servant greeted with her head lowered to the ground
''What is it.'' My beta asked
''Alpha Linus is waiting for you at the visitor's room.'' She replied with her head still lowered to the ground.
''Tell him I will be with him shortly.''
''Yes alpha.'' She replied and walked away.
''Was he here yesterday during my welcoming party.'' I directed those questions to my beta
''No alpha.'' He replied
nodding my head I made my way to the visitor's room, a male servant opened the door and I and my beta walked in.
I walked into the room and sat on my seat, which looks like a throne.
''So the rumors are true.'' Alpha Linus said those words with a soft chuckle which I found annoying,
''Depend on what you heard.'' I replied and relaxed my back on the chair
''Indeed.'' He chuckled softly and crossed his Left leg on his right leg.
Alpha Linus was two years older than me, I remembered how we were fighting over Emma when we were teens until she turns eighteen, and we found out she was my mate.
Ever since then, we hated each other, and we never hide it or stop showing it towards each other.
''Why are you here.'' I asked with my piercing gaze fixed on him.
