I got to the dining table, pulled out my seat and sat on it, while everyone ignored me like I wasn't seated in their mist.
I made eyes with James and could see the disappointed look on his face. Sighing softly, I moved my gaze to dad and noticed he quickly looked away.
Dad's behavior was strange to me, but I wasn't bothered about it, at least not now. We all ate in silence until I got tired, stood up from my seat and walked away.
I took the stairs back to my room, collapsed on the bed and sighed heavily while I closed my eyes.
