His Forbidden Obsession

Chapter 47:- He Is A Monster

Ch. 47 / 125 Feb 13, 2026

The clouds were roaring loud, shiny lights were scattering all over the sky. The roads were looking empty and dark. Street lamps were the only source of light. The heavy rain was falling on her drenched-shivering body, who was running on the road, and didn't know where her feet were taking her.

Silent tears were aggressively falling from her eyes, mixing with the rain water on her dampened cheeks. Her feet were hurting, her fragile body was aching. Her heart was throbbing in pain.

Images of the lifeless eyes of Benjamin were flashing before her. How brutally he had killed him in front of her own eyes and what inhumanity he had tried to do with her.

All these things made her break down into tears more badly. She was running because she wanted to be far away from his reach but didn't know where to go, whom to ask for help?

Her aching feet started throbbing whereas her breathing increased due to her abrupt running. She stopped and started panting heavily. Her legs were shaking, her throat had dried up.

No living presence was there to help her. It was just her and that deadly havoc of nature around her.

Seraphina lost her strength to even move because her whole body was hurting. She just stood there while crying and heaving, until she heard a horn.

She tossed her head and saw a car coming towards her at a speed. Her eyes widened in fear. She shut her eyes and fell on the road in fear because she thought it was going to hit her.

This was her end but the car stopped before her. Seraphina, who had her eyes shut and was quivering badly under the rain while kneeling on the road, heard that familiar voice.

"Seraphina,"

She slowly opened her teary eyes and saw Nicklaus standing before her. His eyes were gazing at her, worriedly.

He helped her in getting up on her knees and clutched her arms gently.

"Ser... "

Seraphina hugged him tightly and bursted out crying in his arms.

"H.. He kil.. killed him. H.. He i... is a monster, " She choked on her tears.

"H.. He t.. tried to h.. hurt m.. me,"

A heavy sigh escaped from Nicklaus's mouth, hearing her words. He embraced her back and started patting her head.

"Calm down, stop crying," He tried to comfort her.

"Pl.. Please h.. help m.. me... please," Seraphina pleaded while clutching him more tightly.

Nicklaus suspired firmly and slightly pulled back from the hug.

"I am sorry, Seraphina but I can't help you in this,"

Her heart ached in an enormous amount of pain, hearing his words.

"Because not just only me, no human can help you from getting away from him,"

Her eyes widened in pure horror. She stepped back from Nicklaus in her instinct because she understood, Nicklaus already knew about all of this.

"But h.. he is inhuman. H.. He is insane. He just k..killed Benjamin because... "

"Seraphina, try to understand," His words cutted her words.

Nicklaus tried to get closer to her but she pushed him away and yelled.

"No, don't touch me. You're also like him. After all of this, you're still supporting him. How could you?" She teared up more, making Nicklaus sigh again.

"Seraphina,"

"No, he will hurt me. He w.. will kill me too. He.. "

"Arzal will kill himself before even thinking about killing you, Seraphina,"

She stopped, hearing him.

"Arzal will never kill you, at any cost but he is capable of killing each and every person you loved and cared about,"

More tears filled into her eyes because it was true but why? Why her?

"But why? Why me?" She screamed at him.

"Because he has become obsessed with you and his obsession for you knows no boundaries and limits of sanity,"

Her soul froze. Her heartbeat dropped. Nicklaus walked towards her and then gazed into her teary blue eyes.

"You have become His Forbidden Obsession. A kind of obsession for which he is capable of killing his own self and any other human too," Nicklaus uttered

A sob broke out from her mouth. She shrugged her head and started stuttering.

"I won't g.. go back to him. Never. He will a.. again... "

"If he wanted, he could have done much worse to you, Seraphina. Even today, when you fell unconscious but he didn't," Nicklaus spoke with a firm tone.

"I am not justifying his actions, Seraphina because they are beyond justifiable but I just want you to know the aftermaths of what you have triggered inside him by trying to escape from him,"

Her blood ran cold. She looked at him, terrified.

"And this aftermath is going to harm your brother, Nathan the most,"

Her soul ached in pain. In her fear, she forgot, her brother was still caged in his hold.

Seraphina joined her hands before him and spoke, crying.

"Pl.. Please save my brother. Pl.. Please stop all of this. Please h... help me... please, " She begged him.

Nicklaus clutched her joined palms and gazed straight into her glossy eyes.

"The only way to stop all of this and save your brother from him is, to give up to him, Seraphina,"

She turned speechless, at his statement.

"Because the more you will try to go against him, try to fight him, the more he will ruin and hurt the things you love, " Nicklaus said, completely aware of how immoral his advice was but he knew that was the only way to stop that deadly game of his obsession.

"Give up to fighting him, Seraphina because that's the only way to stop all of this,"

She had no words to utter to him in return. She was shocked. She was startled.

"And now, get back to him and try to stop him from doing one more irrationality of hurting your brother,"

Her eyes enlarged in bewilderment.

"Yes, he is going to hurt your brother, Seraphina because you have triggered his weakness by trying to escape from him, so he will do the same with you in return but only you can stop him."

Her eyes burnt up in tears, making Nicklaus feel extremely guilty. He palmed her face delicately and softly stared into her eyes.

"Accept that sinner as yours, Seraphina, because he can be your most beautiful dream and your worst nightmare too. It all depends what you want him to be for you,"

Seraphina just peered at him, silently

"And now get back to him and stop him before it becomes too late," Nicklaus said, making her slowly close her eyes and unclenched her palms which she had fisted till now.

"She is here, Arzal,"

Hearing Nicklaus' voice, Seraphina slowly unlatched her lashes and her eyes straight fell on that tall, burly body, back facing her.

Nicklaus drove her back to his private apartment because Seraphina had no other option than to get back to him again. She had no escape from him and she had finally accepted that forbidden decision of her fate.

Her heart was throbbing inside her chest in extreme amounts of fear and nervousness. His muscular naked back was facing. His entire body was wet. His drenched shirt was laying on the floor. It was evident for her to understand that he had also tried to search for her in that rain.

"Arzal... "

"Leave,"

A shiver ran down her spine, hearing his predatory calm voice. He still didn't turn around and this thing petrified Seraphina and it even made Nicklaus afraid.

"Please, Arzal just... "

"Leave Nicklaus," His voice was still low and calm.

Afraid was an understatement, she had become horrified, thinking about the possible outcomes of being alone with him.

Nicklaus sighed and then looked at her, whose face had turned pale in fear. Tears were aggressively falling from her eyes, which she used to plead to him to stay but Nicklaus knew it, defying Arzal at that moment, could result in many worst things for everyone.

Nicklaus squeezed Seraphina's palm and leaned to her air.

"Don't trigger him more, Seraphina," He whispered, making her gulp and then Nicklaus left, leaving that shivering afraid girl with her cruel fate.

Seraphina waited for him to turn around, to yell at her or to do anything worse to her but nothing like that happened. He didn't turn around and said nothing.

The silence between them started terrifying her more, until

"Do you know, Nathan Miller is such an unlucky brother," His voice penetrated the silence between them and his words numbed her existence.

"After taking caring of his sister from the past 15 years, thinking about her before his own self, he still remains unfortunate,"

He finally turned around and every inch of her entity clenched by watching that viciousness in his intoxicated reddened eyes.

A fatal smirk was playing on his lips. He was looking sinister and demonic.

"Because his little sister doesn't even care about his life for once. She doesn't love him enough because.. "

Tears blazed up in her eyes. He smirked more cunningly by watching her tears and then chugged down the liquor from the glass he was holding and then placed the empty glass on the table behind him.

"Because his little sister is selfish, very very selfish. She thinks about herself first when her brother never thinks about himself first when it comes to her,"

Not a single word came out from her mouth, instead her eyes pricked with more tears.

"She doesn't care about her brother's life because," He took his long strides towards her, making her frozen in her place.

He bent his head to match her face level. Seraphina could sense and smell his intoxication.

"If she does then, she would have thought about him before trying to escape from me," He whispered and she swallowed.

"But she didn't, she didn't think about him but herself so... " His grin turned more devious.

Seraphina saw him taking out his phone from his pocket and then touched its screen and turned it to her.

Her eyes widened by watching her brother's video displaying on the screen. Nathan was walking on an empty street but her soul left her body by watching 3 masked men, following him secretly, who had guns and knives in their hands.

Nathan was looking, he had no clue about it which made her lifeless.

"It's time Nathan Miller has to pay with his life just because of his dear little sister, whom he loves more than himself," He spat, gazing at her, who was staring at the screen horrified and breathlessly.

Arzal turned around and again got back to the table. He placed his phone on it which was still displaying that scene.

Those people were still following Nathan and her glossy didn't dare to trail away from the screen until.

"We're waiting for your command, boss. Shall we kill him now? "

Horror emerged in each and every part of her existence, hearing one of those men speaking on the phone which made Arzal to chuckle, who was pouring the liquor in his glass.

He turned around and sipped from his glass and then asked while staring at her startled self.

"Let Miss Miller see her brother for a couple more minutes for the last time. It's the least I can do for my Princess, right?" He chuckled, devilishly, staring at her frozen self.

"I think now it's more than enough for my Princess to see her brother for the last time, so, "

Her breathing hitched. Her heartbeat dropped when she saw him trailing his grey eyes away from her and straight fell on the screen.

"Kill h... "

"No," Her scream echoed against the wall of his house, halting his words.
