She sighed and picked it up.

"Are you done with your classes? "
Her heart beat slightly accelerated hearing that raspy deep voice.
"Yes, " She replied.
"Okay, I'll be there in 5 minutes to pick you up and don't even think about stepping out of your school premises till I don't come there, Sera, " His voice was calm but threatening enough to make her feel afraid.
"O.. Okay, " She stuttered and then he hung up the call after humming in response.
Seraphina sighed and took her bag and was placing it on her back when she saw Benjamin entering her class.
"Hey! Are you ready to go home? " He asked and she nodded.
"Ok then, let's go, "
"No. Actually, my brother's boss is coming to pick me up for his home, so I will have to wait for him, "
Seraphina uttered, to which she saw Benjamin's smile fall from his face and turned slightly firm.
"Hi! guys. Ready to go home? " Nevada's voice gained their attention.
Seraphina smiled and nodded.
"Ok then, let's go. My brother is coming to pick me up, " Nevada said.
"I think I should leave now. You both have your rides for your home, so I will meet you tomorrow at school. Bye , " Benjamin spoke and both the girls nodded, smiling
"Bye, " Nevada said and he beamed and looked at Seraphina
"Bye, Seraphina. Take care. See you tomorrow,"
"You too, Ben, " Seraphina gave him a big wide grin and then he left after that and both the girls went towards the main gate of their school.
"Where the hell are you? I will break your neck if you don't come here in 2 minutes, "
Seraphina heard Nevada scolding her brother on her phone which made her smile and remembered about her own brother and their cute little bickerings. She was missing him terribly and it was only just the first day , she had to live many more days without him, for his safety and success.
Seraphina sighed and then saw a car coming towards their direction and halted in front of them. The door opened and her eyes widened by watching the person coming out from it.
"I was a minute away to snap your whole damn neck, Nicklaus Williams, "
Seraphina heard Nevada shouting at him and then threw her school bag to him which he caught.
"I am just a minute late, Neva. No need to announce the entire country about it, " Nicklaus spoke and then finally his eyes trailed towards Seraphina who was silently watching everything.
"Seraphina? " He spoke, a little untidily.
"What are you doing with this evil sister of mine? " He asked, making Seraphina smile and Nevada to scoff.
"Shut up and how do you both know each other ? " Nevada questioned her brother.
"Actually, she's known to me through... " Nicklaus' words broke with the loud horn of a car.
Everyone turned their head towards that horn and Seraphina immediately got it who was the owner of that luxuriously beautiful car and finally, its owner stepped outside from his car, maintaining his perfectly dominating, powerful aura and then he walked towards them.
"Arzy, " Before Seraphina could say anything or even his eyes fell on her, Seraphina heard Nevada yelling in excitement and ran towards him and hugged him tightly.
"I missed you, you handsome demon, "
Seraphina heard Nevada speaking who was hugging him and a sudden kind of unfamiliar tightness started forming in her chest by watching the scenario before her, especially when she saw him chuckling and hugging Nevada back.
"I missed you too, you ugly witch, "
Nevada pulled back and hit his chest.
"Shut up, don't call me ugly. I am more beautiful than you, you ugly Grayson, "
Arzal laughed and then patted her head and Seraphina just watched them in silence without speaking anything whereas Nicklaus was gazing at Seraphina and was keenly observing her each and every reaction and somehow he was aware of what she was feeling from inside right at that moment ,which made him smile.
"Okay, Neva. Now let's go home. Mom is waiting for you, "
"Wait a minute, Nick. Let me introduce my handsome demon to my new friend, Seraphina, " Nevada spoke and held Arzal's hand and took her to Seraphina who was standing in her place like a statue.
A stinging sensation washed over her heart by watching Nevada holding his hand but she still spoke nothing but just gazed into those silver eyes which were already on her now .
"Seraphina, as you are already known to my brother ,Nicklaus ,so now meet my handsome demon and my other brother, not by blood but by heart, Arzal Grayson, "
Seraphina's eyes slightly enlarged hearing Nevada's words and a kind of calmness filled into her heart when she understood what they both were to each other.
"No need for that, Neva because your handsome demon is here for your new friend and he knows her before you, " Nicklaus uttered, making Nevada shocked.
"Really ? You also know him , " Nevada asked and Seraphina just slowly nodded.
Nevada clapped in excitement and spoke.
"Well, how come you know both these devil brothers of mine, Seraphina? " Nevada chuckled whereas Seraphina didn't reply but just gulped and Nicklaus understood her uneasiness.
"You can attack her with your questions tomorrow or on a phone call but right now, let her go and you come with me. Mom will kill both of us if we don't reach home on time, " Nicklaus said, making Nevada sigh.
"Fine, I'll call you and will trouble you with my questions later. Bye, Seraphina, "
Seraphina nodded and replied.
"Bye bye, "
Nevada beamed back and punched Arzal's arm.
"Bye, you demon. Take care of my new friend or else I'll break your jaw, "
Arzal grinned and then nodded. With that, Nevada left with her brother.
"Give me your bag, "
Seraphina heard him and noticed he was extending his palm to get her school bag. She removed it from her shoulder and handed it to him without any defiance.
He grabbed her bag and opened the car's door for her.
"Get in, "
She obediently followed his words and they both settled inside his car and then, they both drove away.
"Me too, Seraphina. I also love my brother a lot. He's annoying but he's my life, "
Seraphina, who was combing her hair, heard Nevada on the phone which was on speaker and was placed on her dressing table, as she was standing before it.
It was the time of the night and both the girls were conversing on phone about random stuff when suddenly Nevada said something which froze Seraphina.
"By the way, your boyfriend, Benjamin is cute, just like you, Seraphina, "
Seraphina's hands stopped moving the hairbrush , hearing Nevada.
"He seems really caring and loving, especially towards you, "
"He's not my boyfriend, Nevada. Ben is my friend, " She corrected her immediately.
"Oh.. I am sorry. I thought he's your boyfriend because you both seemed really very attached to each other and almost together everywhere. That's why, sorry, " Nevada apologised which made Seraphina sigh.
"It's okay, "
"Okay then, I'll meet you tomorrow at school. Bye, "
"Bye, " Seraphina said and hung up the call and dropped the brush and took her phone from the table.
She turned around but her breathing hitched by watching the person standing in front of her , who was peering into her azure eyes with his blood freezing silver ones.
Her throat turned dry in terror, the way he was gazing at her but she didn't know what she had done now to make him this much angry until she heard his cavernous husky voice asking that question to her.
"Who the f#ck is Benjamin , Sera? "
