Alpha's Wife Hunt

Chapter 606

Ch. 606 / 840 May 06, 2026

Third person's POV

Tabitha looked into the faces of the two people in front of her. Their sincerity and kindness warmed her heart.

Throughout her life, she had faced many setbacks and villains, but fate had also sent some lovely people to help her. She wasn't entirely unlucky.

At least this time, the Moon Goddess sent these two friends to help her.

"Okay, but I'm much better now. Dora can go back to work now. You don't need to take care of me anymore," Tabitha said.

"But..." Theodora started to object.

"It's settled. I can't let you waste any more time on me. Besides, this is the house you're preparing for your wedding. How could I stay here for that long? I can move to a smaller apartment and I can hire a housekeeper. I can also go downstairs for a walk by myself," Tabitha insisted.

Orson didn't want her to worry about such trivial matters and immediately agreed.

"Alright, I'll do it for you right away."

Orson was efficient and quickly found a new place for Tabitha.

It was a large flat on the first floor with a garden, making it convenient for her to live.

The key was that the courtyard was full of flowers, which could also lift one's spirits.

Tabitha didn't have many belongings, so she moved there that day, along with the housekeeper.

It was evident that Tabitha was very satisfied with that new house. It was located in a bustling area, making shopping convenient. The community had beautiful greenery.

"Tabitha, you'll stay here for now. The housekeeper will take care of your meals. Besides, I'll find you a bodyguard. It's not safe for you to be here alone," Orson said.

Tabitha wanted to refuse, but she knew her body couldn't be overexerted.

Without a wheelchair, she could barely walk for five minutes before becoming exhausted. It was indeed inconvenient for her to go out alone if the housekeeper was busy with cooking.

"Okay, thank you," she agreed.

"We're friends. It's okay. If there's anything wrong, let me know immediately," Orson said.

"The environment here is great, and the supporting facilities are convenient. I really like it," Tabitha replied.

"Well, you don't know many people here, so be careful when you go out. It would be troublesome if the Black Thorn found out."

Orson warned Tabitha before leaving.

Three days later. When Orson came, he was accompanied by another person.

Orson was tall, but this man was even taller than Orson. He was almost 6.2 feet.

"Tabitha, he will be in charge of your security from now on."

Orson said, lowering his voice. "He's not from Seattle. You can trust him."

It was considerate of him to think so thoroughly. Tabitha was about to thank him again, but Orson quickly waved his hand, "Dora and I may not be able to visit you every day. We need to prepare for our engagement. If you need anything, just let me know."

"Okay," Tabitha agreed.

Orson waved to the newcomer, signaling him to come over. "His name is Wilmot Hammond."

Tabitha took a look at Wilmot. His skin was somewhat dark and, like his name, unremarkable. He would blend into a crowd and not stand out.

The man lowered his eyes, his long eyelashes covering a third of his pupils, making him appear harmless.

He spoke, "Ms. Hartley."

His pronunciation was indistinguishable, with an accent that was hard to place, sounding somewhat awkward.

Orson explained, "He grew up in New York and spent some time in Europe as a child. He speaks many languages from different countries, but not very standard."

"It's fine."

Tabitha said calmly, looking at him. "Thank you for taking care of me in the future."

Wilmot waved his hands repeatedly, looking very simple and honest, "It's totally my pleasure. I'm grateful to Mr. Romero for giving me a job."
