Trapped

"Mrs Haward," Peter whispered on his lips. "Which hospital please?" he asked.

"I will send you the address," Dr Andesh replied and the call ended.

Dr Andesh dialled Mr Wellington's number after sending Peter the hospital's location address.

"Sir, I am sorry to inform you that the emergency I have at my hospital is your son," she informed Mr Wellington.

"What!" Mr Wellington shouted on the phone. "What happened to him?" he asked.

"I still don't know. We are still running tests to understand what is happening to him," Dr Andesh replied dejectedly.

"I am coming over," Mr Wellington replied and ended the call.

Dr Andesh went back to the ER to check on Jason. Some of the results were ready and again, everything looks fine. She moved him to one of the private wards upstairs and put some guards to prevent an unauthorized person from entering.

Nothing shows Jason was physically ill as all the results show everything was fine yet he will not open his eyes or speak. He appears to be sleeping even though his aura remains cold. Dr Andesh stood there at the foot of his bed staring at his face with his report in hand. On his finger was the pulse reader and he also had wires from a machine attached to his body to read his vitals. He didn't need an oxygen mask as he was breathing perfectly on his own

"Jason, what is wrong with you? Why are you not waking up?" Dr Andesh questioned herself silently as she stared at him.

Her phone vibrated and she quickly checked the caller ID snapping out of her daze. It was Mr Wellington. She went out of the ward to meet him and also found Peter at the reception.

"How is my son,?" Mr Wellighton asked.

"Son, Mr Wellington is Jason's father?" Peter thought. "No wonder they look so much alike. How did he miss that?" he thought.

"Of course, he was so excited he was before a great man's presence he never thought anything about the resemblance," Peter thought listening to the updates from Dr Andesh.

"I am Peter, Jason's ...." Peter started but was interrupted by Dr Andesh.

"I know who you are, Jason's loyal friend," Dr Andesh said looking at Peter.

"Can I see my son," Mr Wellington asked.

"Yes," replied Dr Andesh and she led them to the private floor and into Jason's room.

Mr Wellington and Peter entered the room together with Dr Andesh and both stood speechless as they stared at the face of Jason lying on the bed with his eyes closed. He looked like he was sleeping. Mr Wellington went to sit on the chair placed on the side and took his hand in his wondering what was happening to him.

"Do you know what happened? What happened before he went into this condition?" Mr Wellington asked.

"No, I have nothing. My people are still looking into it. Hoping we will find something that will help us with his condition." Dr Andesh replied.

"He went to see Ms Julia," Peter reported and Dr Andesh and Mr Wellington turned to look at him.

"I was with him when his old housekeeper called him to inform him of Julia's location. He left immediately to go see her. That was the last time I saw him," Peter reported.

Dr Andesh frowned, thinking about the new information shared by Peter.

"Do you have Julia's number?" Dr Andesh asked.

"What are you thinking?" asked Mrs Wellington.

"I can't say now until I confirm my suspicion," replied Dr Andesh.

"Here is Julia's contact," Peter said giving the number to Dr Andesh as Mr Wellington looked on.

Dr Andesh dialled the number on her phone and brought the phone to her ears waiting for the call to connect.

Back at the Haward's house, Fiona was in her room lying on her bed waiting for Vera's call but had ended up falling asleep. Her phone rang waking her up from sleep. She frowns deeply as she drags herself up to sit on the bed. The buzzing sound of her phone kept disturbing her. She looked around and finally found the phone lying on the other side of the bed. She reached for it and seeing it was Vera calling, quickly answered it bringing the phone to her ears.

"Hello," Fiona said on the phone.

"Hey, hope you are good?" asked Vera.

"Yeah, I am fine," Fiona replied yawning.

"Look, you sound like a pregnant woman already. You were sleeping?" asked Vera.

"Yeah, I am not sure when I fell asleep. I was waiting for your call," Fiona replied yawning again.

"ha ha ha, I hope it's the medication and you are not pregnant for real," teased Vera.

"Funny, ha ha ha" replied Fiona.

"Okay, the reason why I called is to let you know what our next plan is. With the nurse around, it's only a matter of time before they realize you are not pregnant. So try and get the information tonight," requested Vera.

"Sure, I will," replied Fiona.

"Be careful, and take good care of yourself," Vera warned.

"Sure," replied Fiona and she ended the call lying back on the bed and positioning herself in a comfortable way to continue sleeping.

Mori who was behind her door was startled by Veronica who was coming to ask Fiona what she would like for supper.

"What do you want here?" questioned Mori angrily.

"I came to ask ma'am what she would prefer for supper," replied Veronica who was wondering what Mori was doing with her head pressed against Fiona's closed door.

"Are you her caretaker?" Mori questioned angrily.

"No please, but I am going to prepare ..." Veronica started but was rudely interrupted by Mori.

"Just shut up and leave," Mori said and Veronica bowed.

"Leave already" Mori yelled waking Fiona up, just then James walked onto the scene.

"What is going on here?" James asked seeing Veronica and Mori standing in front of Fiona's door.

"She crept up on me," reported Mori surprising Veronica whose jaw dropped.

"Apologies Mori, this won't happen again," apologized James. "Get out of here," he said to Veronica who quickly left the scene.

"What are you doing here?" asked Mori.

"I came to see my woman. Got a problem with that?" asked James with a frown.

"Yes, I do because you can't be here," Mori said in a whisper.

"Mori, this is my house and you don't tell me what to do. So get out of here," James yelled at her.

"James," Mori mentioned his name through gritted teeth.

"Mori, I said go away. Now!" James said and the door opened and Fiona's face came into view.

"What's going on?" Fiona asked her face showing she had just woken up from sleep.

Mori looked at Fiona from head to toe and wondered why the medication had not kicked in yet.

"Well everyone reacts differently, let me give her time," Mori thought.

"Nothing, actually, Sir James here and I just ran into each other at your door," Mori explained.

"How is my babe doing?" James asked sounding seductive making Mori twist her lips.

"I am good and so is the baby," Fiona replied with a smile and Mori left the two knowing she had fed Fiona with a pregnancy termination medication.

It doesn't matter what James does with her, she will lose the pregnancy. With this thought in mind, Mori went to relax on the balcony.

"Can I come in," asked James with a seductive smile.

"Exactly the question, I want you to ask," Fiona thought with a smile moving away from the doorway.

James entered and she closed the door. She threw her arms around his waist making James smile.

"Now that is a woman who knows how to welcome a man," James said removing her hand and turning to face her.

Fiona tilted her head to her left and rested her hands on James's chest as he held her by her waist. Staring at her face, he lowered his head and kissed her lips and Fiona did not resist him but allowed him.

"You owe me an apology," Fiona said when they parted from the kiss.

"Apology? For what" James asked.

"Sweety, I still feel hurt by what you did," Fiona said walking away from James and running her hand on his body making James respond by stretching his hand to grab her hand.

Fiona stopped when James was now holding her hand by just the tips of hers. He walked towards her and wrapped his arms around her from the back.

"Are you talking about that night?" James asked.

"Yes, you were my first and that is something I will not forget," Fiona said and turned to face him.

"What do you mean?" asked James with a frown as Fiona stared into his eyes lovingly.

"My body felt the same way like the first time," Fiona replied seductively alternating her gaze between his eyes and his lips.

"Fiona, you know I have always wanted you?" James said.

"I know but you could at least allow me to be present for my first time," Fiona said and planted a kiss on his lips.

"I am sorry. You were driving me crazy and playing hard to get," James said tucking Fiona's hair behind her ears.

"That is a consolation," Fiona replied with a sigh.

"Why is that a consolation?" James asked.

"It's because it means, my body has only been touched by one man, you. I would have felt miserable if that night in that apartment, it was another man," Fiona said with a worried expression.

"Wait, is that what you were worried about?" James asked with a smile.

"Yes. I made a promise to myself that the man who takes away my virginity will be the only man I will allow to touch me," Fiona said and freed herself from James's grip walking towards the bed.

"I like the sound of that and you don't have to worry your head because that night, it was me, yours truly," James confirmed, making her smile.

Fiona lay on the bed and allowed James to join her in bed.

Unknown to James, Fiona had placed her phone, which she had put on silence in the pot of flowers in the corner of her room and had video-called Vera to record their conversation with her camera.

"Catch ya!" said Vera who had videoed their entire conversation.

Vera ended the video call as she was not interested in their romance session.

"Well done Fiona, now he is trapped," Vera said with a smile as she played the recording.

Back at the Haward's James was still in bed with Fiona having a good time. Flipping Fiona over to now be on top of him on the bed his eyes caught the light that blinked in the flowers. He pushed Fiona over and got down from the bed.

"What is wrong?" asked Fiona with a frown.

James walked to the flower and retrieved the phone from the flowers. The screen was off and when he pressed the power button, the phone screen lit up but it was locked.

"Why do you have this here?" James questioned angrily and Fiona swallowed hard sitting on the bed.
