Where is Julia?
Let's find her. If Ms Julia was wearing her ring we could track her," Peter said.
"What!" Henry exclaimed.
"Please call Mirenda," Peter repeated.
"Okay," Henry replied and quickly called to find out where Mirenda was.
Meanwhile, Mr Wellington and Dr Andesh arrived at Mr Taga's apartment. The huge gate was locked
"How are we going to get inside?" Dr Andesh asked once they were at the gate.
"We won't. I have people who will get inside. He knows better not to mess with me," Mr Wellington replied and Dr Andesh relaxed in her seat as they both waited patiently.
Jason on the other hand left the police station recalling, that he had put a tracker on Julia's wedding ring. He quickly opened the door to his apartment and went straight to his office. He opened the safe and brought out a key which he used to unlock a box under his desk. He picked up a device and turned it on. He watched the screen for a while and a location came up. He frowned looking at the location on his screen.
"Why will Julia be in Benjamin's house?" Jason thought but still moved out of his study and out of his apartment heading towards his parked car.
He sat behind the wheel and started the engine. He drove out of the garage and out of the compound towards the road. He made a turn at the end of the road towards the main road and was soon on his way to Benjamin's house using the tracker as his guide.
Inside a room, Julia sat on a chair with both of her hands and legs tied to the chair. She had a blindfold on and her lips were also tied with a cloth so she could not scream. She felt a hand rubbed against her cheek and she quivered with fear moving away from the hand.
"Relax, I am not going to do anything to you," came a male voice. "I am going to remove the cloth from your lips. If you scream, you will stop breathing," the man warned. "Do you understand?" he asked and Julia nodded.
He then removed the cloth from Julia's lips but Julia made no noise.
"Good girl, now I have no problem with you but your father-in-law-to-be. However, there is someone I want you to meet, who has a problem with you," the man said.
"Hello Julia," came a voice that was so familiar to Julia.
"Mrs Haward," Julia whispered her name.
"Good, your ears are sharp because you going to need those sharp ears of yours for later," Mrs Haward said with a smile. "You thought I would never find you?" she went on.
"What do you want from me?" Julia asked.
"Oh, today the pest is brave enough to talk," Mrs Haward said and laughed.
Julia remained silent and kept moving her body anytime she felt the hand of the strange man touching her.
"Hey, relax. I am not going to do anything to you. If I want I would have a long time ago," the man said.
"Nice gown but you are not getting married today until you return all the Haward's property to me," Mrs Haward said and turned to walk away but stopped in her tracks. "Oh! while you are at it, get my beloved son out of jail," she said.
Julia heard their footsteps moving away from her and eventually a door closing.
"Jason, where are you?" Julia whispered on her lips and began to sob as tears flowed down her face. "What wrong did I do to this woman?" she questioned herself. "Jason, please come find me," she whispered on her lips as she sat in the lonely room.
Meanwhile, Dr Andesh and Mr Wellington were both waiting patiently behind the huge gate of Mr Taga.
"Mr Wellington, you finally came?" came the voice of Mr Taga.
The guard who was leaning against the car quickly informed Mr Wellington of the voice coming from the gate alarm.
"Address him," said Mr Wellington rolling back the car window.
"Greetings, Mr Taga," said the guard.
"I want to speak to your boss not punks," Mr Taga said.
"I know and understand, but I speak as the voice of Mr Wellington, my boss," replied the guard.
"I see. So you know what your master will say?" Mr Taga asked.
"I shall answer your question to the best of my ability" replied the guard.
"Why are you here?" Mr Taga asked.
"To see you," replied the guard.
"See me? About what?" Mr Tage asked.
"You have our precious jewel," replied the guard.
"Aaaaa, I see, you are good. Okay, I will let only Mr Wellington in, the rest stay back. I don't want drama in my home," Mr Taga said.
"Hmmm," responded the guard and he quickly relayed the information to Mr Wellington.
"Are you ready," Mr Wellington asked Dr Andesh.
"I am," Dr Andesh replied.
"Good, let's get this done and over with," Mr Wellington said and stepped out of the car.
The huge gate opened and a ride was waiting to take him inside. Mr Wellington sat in the car and it quickly moved towards the main house. The car parked in front of the mansion and Mr Wellington stepped out of the car. He saw a man standing in front of the entrance to the mansion holding a glass of wine in hand smiling.
"Benjamin Taga, you son of a bitch," Mr Wellington whispered on his lips with a smile.
"Mr Wellington, you son of a bitch. You are finally here," Mr Taga whispered on his lips and sipped his wine patiently waiting as Mr Wellington walked towards him.
"Welcome to my home and let's go inside," Mr Taga welcomed.
"I didn't come here to visit. Where is Julia?" Mr Wellington went straight to the point.
"That is not how to greet the son of an old friend," Mr Taga said and made the sign of the cross. "God bless his soul," he said.
"I see you eventually sent the old man to heaven because you don't want him revealing your dirty secret," Mr Wellington said looking at Mr Taga with a frown.
"I feel offended. My daddy died and this is how you empathize with me?" questioned Mr Taga with a hand on his chest faking brokenness.
"Cut this nonsense. I didn't come here for your drama and don't make me ask again," Mr Wellington said sternly.
"No need to ask again. Let's go in and talk about where Julia is but before then, I have a surprise for you," Mr Taga said with a smile.
"Oh, I see," Mr Wellington said.
"Come inside," Mr Taga invited and Mr Wellington followed him in.
Mr Taga led him to his private living room. Once they entered, Mr Wellington came face to face with Mrs Haward.
"I assume, this is your surprise?" Mr Wellington asked looking at Mr Taga.
"You were always smart," Mr Taga said with a smile.
"I will trade with you. My son and the Hawards' fortune for Julia," Mrs Haward requested.
"James committed so many crimes that the State will not accept as pardonable," replied Mr Wellington.
"I want my son back. I carried him for nine months and I will not settle with him going to jail," Mrs Haward yelled.
"You carried him for nine months? Oh, I see. For once, he had me believe he was part of the demons cast down to earth. Because if he was born and for that matter into a family, I believe his mother was treated with something to have him turn out like that," said Mr Wellington.
"Are you insulting me?" questioned Mrs Haward.
"No, I am only saying, they exceeded the recommended dosage for treating pregnant bitches. It makes sense he was born a douchebag," replied Mr Wellington infuriating Mrs Haward.
"Hold your peace woman. This is not why we are here," Mr Taga stepped in.
"You always like to go straight to the point, so here is the deal," Mr Taga began as they all remained standing.
Mr Taga sat down on the sofa with his leg crossed holding his half-emptied glass of wine in hand.
"You will not announce Jason as your son but you will announce me as your son. You will sign over half of your inheritance to me, set James free and give the Haward fortune to her," Mr Taga requested with a smile.
"And why will I do that again?" questioned Mr Wellington.
"Two things, you don't want to go to prison for the murder of your Julia and her baby and secondly, you don't want your wife to die a second time," Mr Taga said and Mr Wellington raised an eyebrow in shock. "Oh, you didn't know?" he said and laughed.
Even Mrs Haward was surprised. Everyone knew Mr Wellington's wife was no more. A private funeral with a few guests was held in her honour.
"I see you are finding it hard to believe. See for yourself," Mr Taga threw an envelope onto the table.
Mrs Haward who was more shocked and curious grabbed the envelope and opened it. There were pictures inside. Mr Wellington stood with a straight face staring at Mr Taga who was just smiling. Mrs Haward went through the images and her eyes widened. She threw the pictures onto the table after going through them. Mr Wellington's eyes shifted to the images which scattered around once they dropped onto the table. He frowned deeply recognizing the person in the picture as his wife.
"How?" Mr Wellington asked.
"Let me tell you a story," Mr Taga said laughing.
Meanwhile, Jason had also arrived at the gate of Mr Taga's house.
