Break News - Part one
The guard called Mori and informed her, that Fiona was coming back. She quickly finished what she was doing and left the room locked. As soon as she entered her room, Fiona also entered the living room and walked straight to her bedroom unaware her room just got bugged.
Fiona sat down on her bed thinking of what to do next.
"These people brought me here for a reason, and they already know I faked my pregnancy. I need to quickly come up with a plan before they know I am faking my memory loss." Fiona thought. "The video is not enough. I need something more," she bit on her nail in deep thought.
"Wait!, Jason, I need to get in touch with Jason, he can do something with this video," Fiona thought and got up from the bed.
She walked towards the door and exited the room. She walked into the living room and exited the living room onto the balcony.
"Now how do I get in touch with Jason," she thought as she sat on the chair resting her head on her hand folded behind her.
At Paradise Hotel, Peter was working on the documents Jason requested. He made a duplicate version of the original copies. Jason was going to sign ownership of the company to his father, Mr Wellington. He prepared another document to be signed by just Jason and Mr Wellington which keeps Jason as the true owner of the Hotel. That document's details supersede the documents that will be sent to Mrs Haward. Peter went through and smiled, satisfied with the finished work. Peter called Jason immediately.
"Sir, I am done," Peter announced but heard Julia's voice in the background.
From the dullness of her voice, he knew Julia was, as usual, being her baby self. Jason will be pampering her by now, he wondered if it was a good time to talk.
"Should I call back?" Peter asked not knowing what to do for the first time.
"No, I am going out now. Bring the documents home, my father and I will be there to go through and sign," Jason said.
"Yes, I will do that," Peter said and the call ended.
Peter continued with his work, knowing what was happening, he placed Julia on leave in the system.
Back in Jason's apartment, Julia was dressing up. Jason had told her about Mirenda and recalling Mr Wellington asking Jason to call her, she decided she would go with Jason to see Mirenda. She was still not happy Jason had moved all her things into his apartment. She still feels that was Jason's authority in action but decided to let it go. Since she met him, it's like she had never had a chance to decide for herself. She never planned to marry him but it happened. She never consented to lose her virginity to him but it happened. She never decided she wanted to move in with him again, he sent his men to pick her up and brought her to his home. She sat on the bed and leaned on the bed pole.
In all of this, she cannot deny she loves him so much that, she doesn't want to lose him. He may not be like the everyday men with their loved ones but she can't deny he makes her feel special.
"Are you ready?" came Jason's deep but gentle voice snapping her out of her thought.
Julia shifted her gaze to him standing at the entrance of the bedroom and was mesmerized. She could not stop staring at him. If God used six days to create the world including Adam and Eve and rested on the 7th day, he definitely created Jason on the 7th day after he had enough rest. She smiled after admiring his charming features for a while forgetting a while ago she was unhappy with his decision to move her in without allowing her to make that decision by herself. She walked towards the door and they both proceeded to the staircase.
Outside, the guard opened the door for them and he sat behind the wheel after. He drove the car out of the compound towards Henry's apartment. They arrived at the apartment after a couple of minutes' drive. Henry welcomed them in and served them a cup of tea.
"I thought you had housekeepers?" Jason asked.
"I gave them the afternoon off. They will be back at 7 p.m.," Henry replied.
Henry did that because Jason was coming over and his servants were all females.
"Great. So where is my sister?" Jason asked.
Julia sat next to Jason holding her cup of tea.
"Upstairs, in the bedroom. For some days now she would not come out of the room. The sad part is, with all my skills and experience, I can't help her," Henry said to Jason.
"Take me to her, please," Jason requested and Henry got up leading him to Mirenda's room.
Julia remained seated after they had both excused themselves, watching them leave.
"That is her room," Henry announced once they were at Mirenda's door.
Jason nodded and knocked on the door.
