CIARA "Address."
The man doesn't sound like an Uber, and he was putting on a mask. I didn't see that coming, because the car had tinted glasses, and maybe herwore that mask immediately I hopped into the car and shot the door.
I tugged out the door, but it had been automatically locked.
I had been trapped in a strange car. A car I didn't book for myself. Another masked man rose from the at the driver's side.
He must have been bending all the while they were waiting for me to join them in their car. I was being practically kidnapped for heaven's sake.
"Who are you?" I posed with tears welling up in my eyes.
Going from a rehab facility to a kidnapper's den wouldn't be a pretty experience here.
The driver turned on the engine and the car stereo to keep my shouting blurred with music, and the second man fished his gun out of his cloth and turned to me.
"Do try to be nice, Ciara, we were ordered not to hurt you, with if you push us to the wall, we would have you dealt with. You are safe in our hands."
They pulled into the road, and there, a third man joined the car, sitting next to me, and they sped off.
"Who are you? What do you want?" I could feel fear trail up my spine, and make spikes in my brain.
The third man pulled out his gun and raised it to my face.
"Look, kids don't find it fair with me when I punish them for bothering my life with noise. I won't take the same from an adult. Got that?"
I resolved to keep mute and have them take me to whereverthey pleased.
I was hopeless and I have no choice, because I can't even negotiate with them here. The driver increased the volume of the music, such that I throbbed my head so bad and gave me headache.
I wasn't really good in taking loud music, or staying in a noisy place, because such heavy noisy would always find their way into my head and cause me headache.
I shook my head in response to his words, and he smiled and touched my face with the tip of his gun.
"Hey, remember, we were ordered not to hurt her." The driver said.
The third guy returned his gun to his place.
"Come on, I was just playing games with her." He said with a wicked smile on his smooth face.
He was the only one who wasn't putting on a mask here. I wonder how his face doesn't look rough. His face was too smooth to be the face of a kidnapper.
"Who sent you?" I asked.
"We owe you no answers, ma'am." The driver said and continued with his driving, why his colleagues kept their eyes on me.
Come on, I wasn't going to escape here in this car. I can't even fight them for crying out loud, but they kept their eyes on me as though I was capable of having their eyes whooped at the slightest chance.
They turned down the music when they sensed that I had gone quiet. But are these men really kidnappers, or was I being pranked?
They hadn't bothered to put me to sleep like others do with chemicals spilled into handkerchief. It was only the third guy that had messed their calm operation up by pointing his gun at my head.
But he was reprimanded by the driver, which made it look like they weren't on a kidnap operation.
But I feel I had been kidnapped for heaven's sake.
Knowing that I couldn't do anything, I decided to be on the lookout, to mark the houses around, and to remember the road to the kidnappers' den, but that was the way to aunt Elsie's place.
How painful it would be for her to hear that we passed through her place while I was being ferried to the kidnappers' den.
The car stopped right before her gate, and the driver honked.
The gate went open in the next minute, and the driver pulled into the compound.
The gates closed automatic and the car stopped by the pool where aunt Elsie likes sitting during summer. It was summer by the way, and she was there, cooling herself up like a reptile.
Wait, did she ordered these guys to kidnap me and bring me to her house orwhat?
The driver turned off the car, and alighted. But they didn't rough handle me this time. They held the door open for me and helped me alight from it.
"Ciara." Aunt Elsie called me out with a smile on her face. I don't think she had any idea what her boys did to me in the black car.
"Auntie." I said, but I wasn't smiling.
I didn't intend to come to her place, having rented an apartment online, and booked an Uberfor myself.
I did all these because I wanted to have my peace of mind for a while before having anything to the do with the troubles of those I knew.
"Welcome home, sweet heart."
Aunt Elsie had changed so much with time. She had gone a little fatter than she used to be, and she looked rich partying with my funds.
"Who are these boys?"
I pointed at the three rude boys who had just taken off their masks.
She looked at the boys and smiled.
"They are the guards securing this premises. They would help us get yourson back to your arms. You know, Ryan wouldn't like to let us take him, so, we need to apply some force on that."
Her words were the least things I wanted to hear. I had no intention of grabbing Herzl from his father's side, and she shouldn't remind me of such.
"That would be later aunty." The house wasn't hers though. It was mine, but leaving it for years made it look like it was hers.
"You know you shouldn't waste time on such..."
"Later, auntie."
