RYAN
I was almost dismissed from the office when a knock came through and Mary stepped in, a bright smile on herface.
"Ryan Hi, don't you think that you should get going now, it pretty late?"
"I know, I will just round up a few more things and get going, can you help me check up on Ciara and see if she still has a lot of work to do"
"You are not aware?"
"Aware of what?" I narrowed my gaze curiously at her.
"Ciara went on a date with her Gerald" The words made my heart boil in rage, I got on my feet and my fist unintentionally stamped the desk hard.
"Calm down Ryan, she is now your ex-wife and is free to go out on a date the same way you can." Mary blurted out but I wasn't interested in anything else that she had to say, I packed up the files on the desk, tuck it in the drawer and stormed out of the office.
I tracked her cell phone down to a luxurious restaurant and as soon as I saw from the glass laughing and chatting happily with Gerald, it made my heart boil so hard that I rushed inside with my teeth gritted with so much rage.
I was fueled with so much jealousy and it made me realize just how much I was in love with this woman. She meant the world to me and I wasn't ready to let her go.
I decided that I was going to take her to her favorite spot and remind her of all the good memories that we had together, perhaps that might jerk up some feelings for me.
Once we were at the root top, as soon as she set her eyes on the stars radiating at us, tears filled her eyes that melted my heart, and all I wanted to do was hug her right and never let her go.
"Why did you bring me here?" She blurted out while the tears rolled down her cheek and I went on my knees right in front of her, she gasped in awe, surprised by my action.
"Ryan, what are you doing?"
"Please Wifey... You have to forgive me and come back home, please my little angel"
"Is this one of your tricks, I am sorry but I am not falling for it again, I will be a fool to believe anything that comes out of that mouth of yours"
"Yes! I understand every ounce of pain that you are feeling inside, I know that I put you through so much and I am sorry about it, this was all because I listened to Anne and let her poison my mind against you, she talked about how you were cheating on me and claimed that she had evidence, I believed her because there was no reason not to, I was so stupid."
The tears slowly rolled through her cheek as she listened to me speak. "I am sorry Ciara, I am so sorry that I let her come into my life and take away everything, she ruined the company and made me go bankrupt."
"And yet even while I was able to buy the company and all its shares, you still came back to reclaim it after I made it recover, believe me, Ryan you are so cruel."
"No. That was not my intention, I know that it is hard to believe, but I was very excited when I heard that you were the one who had purchased the company after it was ruined, I only came back for the company to get close to you, hoping that through this, I can make you come back to me. Please, baby ....I am so sorry." "Ryan I can feel the sincerity in your eyes, but you hurt me pretty bad, and the only way that I am ever forgiving you is if you bring back Herzl to me."
"No! I can't" I got on my feet and stood next to her, my fingers brushing past her hair. "I can't let you out of my life again, please Wifey, you are either coming back to this home that had always been your home where the both of us can raise our kid together, or you are going to lose the company and your son"
She widened her eyes at me, I could see the look of betrayal in her eyes, so I immediately clarified things with her.
"No! Ciara, that is not my true intention, I do not care about the company at all, all I want is you back in my life and all this has been to get your attention."
This time, I could not help it, the feeling that I have always longed for, to be close to her, to kiss that tender lips even for a moment, my lips brushed past her neck and I could feel the fragrance of lemon and berry filled my nostrils, it reminded me of how much I have missed and longed to be with this woman.
"I was so furious when I saw you at that restaurant with Gerald, all I wanted to do was shred him into pieces, I was sojealous that it got on my nerves." I whispered with my lips kissing fervently around her neck and collar bone, she shivers with a tight-lipped moan.
No longer unable to withstand the urge, I hauled her up into my arms and carried her downstairs.
CIARA
As his lips trail around my collarbone, I shiver at his touch, the feeling that was all my body yearned for, his touch and his lips going places. His hands found theirway around my cleavage and while I fell on the couch he squeezed both my blossom that I could not help but moan softly.
"Ryan...." I moaned out his name like my life depended on him, being with him made me realize how much that I have wanted to be with him. His hands ceaseing my entire body, his fingers trailing at sensitive parts of my body that I was dripping so wet and all I wanted was him, inside of me.
But just then, the swung open with his mother walking in on us and it was at this moment that we recalled that we didn't lock the door.
