The Alpha's Triangle

Chapter 54 Alaia

Ch. 54 / 200 Jun 24, 2025

The second he left the room I picked up the nearest thing and threw it across the room. The nightstand shattered against the wall like confetti. That only made me want to smash more things and I did. It felt great. I couldn’t believe this was happening. SHE was pregnant! It’s unbelievable. After a few minutes of destroying half the room I felt a bit satisfied. It took a second to calm my breathing before I realized I wasn’t alone. Standing near the corner was Omega Mary holding a tray in her hands. Her eyes were closed and she was shaking like a leaf. I’m surprised nothing hit her.

“What do you want,” I asked with irritation. I didn’t like the fact that she saw me like this but at the moment I didn’t care.

“Lun-I mean-Miss Be-bella-tho-tho-thought-” I held up my hand to stop her. I couldn't wait here waiting for her to finish one sentence.

“I’m fine. You can leave.” She bowed and stepped over the mess on the floor. “Wait. Send someone to clean this mess.”

“Right-away-Luna.”

The moment she disappeared, I called Nas. After a few rings, he picked up. He sounded like he was breathing heavily.

“This better be a good reason, sweetheart.” I could hear another voice in the background, moaning. Did he seriously pick up the phone while having sex? Men are disgusting. I held back my anger.

“It’s time. How fast can you get to the bar?”

“What the rush? I thought you were enjoying your honeymoon,” he said through his pants. This was ridiculous but it had to be done. I wanted, no, I needed this plan to happen now. Looking at my necklace, I knew I had just enough power to get rid of Zira but nothing would be left. I refused to give up being a witch.

“Well honeymoon is over,” I yelled, still a bit irritated with my situation. “I’m ready to do this now. Just make sure you do your part well.” Nas didn’t say anything. All I heard was the moans from the girl on the other end. “Did you hear? Nas?”

After a few more moments I could hear the girl scream out her pleasure. Just rude I thought once it sounded like they were done.

“Alaia, my service is always satisfactory. Believe that. I’ll be there in twenty.”

Without saying goodbye I hung up the phone just in time to hear a knock on the door. The Omegas were standing by to clean the room which meant I had to find another room to transport myself. That was easy since the packhouse had many rooms for visitors. I grabbed my bag and walked to the second floor. The floor was nearly empty and picked the first unoccupied room. I used the closet door to transport myself to the club and made my way to the bar.

I ordered some drinks and looked around for Mirja. The bartender informed me she was in her office. So I down the drinks and waited for Nas to show up. The minute he and his crew walked in the door our eyes met. He smiled his dazzling smile and nodded. It was showtime. I held up my hand to let him know to give me five minutes before he starts. I took one more shot and made my way towards Mirja’s office.

Her office was in the basement surrounded by protection spells. It wasn’t just a place for business but it held things Mirja wanted to keep from the public eye. So nobody was really allowed down here and nobody was stupid enough to come. Right before I made it to the door it opened. I cautiously walked through it, waiting for something to happen. With protection spells things like being executed or stunned is common.

“If I didn’t want you to come in you would’ve known by now,” Mirja said, looking up from her desk.

I was taken aback by the decor. It looked as if it was pulled from a Pagan Sanctuary catalog. The walls were made of stone and reached up at least fifty feet high. Some were covered with books and scrolls from floor to ceiling while others were lined with candles and glowing sigils. There were small tables around holding containers with herbs and such. On the right was a nice size bed with black silky linen.

“Do you stay here,” I asked.

“Some days when the bar is hectic. Not really my first choice though.”

I couldn’t believe the room was as big as it was. There was no way all this fits under her bar.

“It’s an illusion,” Mirja said, noticing my mouth gaping at the size of the room. “I’m surprised you don’t remember this place. Come have a seat. Your energy is way off today.”

She gestured to a chair that suddenly materialized in front of a nice iron-framed, solid oak desk. She was sitting in a black spoon back highchair with a buttoned back rest with scrolled arms. Behind her sat her family’s altar table covered with spells, candles, and other assortment of wiccan magicks.

There on a small podium rested the Grimoire. Even from here it looked much bigger than it actually was. I continued to look around, trying not to look to give away my intentions. She was right. I was here before. This is where we did the ritual of transferring my power to my necklace. I looked down at my necklace and noticed my power was almost gone.

“I see you’re almost up,” Mirja said, looking at my necklace.

I hated being reminded how close I was to losing myself again and it brought up emotions I tried to hide. Like a waterfall tears started to pour from my face and instantly Mirja was by my side. At first I thought it was going to be hard to drum them up but with my powers, Zira’s pregnancy, and Isaiah’s obvious feelings towards her did the trick.

“Hey, hey, hey. What’s wrong, Alaia. Tell me,” Mirja said, rubbing circles in my back.

Between my sobs, I told her everything that happened to me today. I knew this would definitely give Nas enough time to start a ruckus.

“Dammit, girl. You can’t seem to get a break.”

“I’ll be fine. I just needed a moment,” I said.

Before she could say anything else there was a loud crash upstairs and she was close enough for me to do my part.

“What the hell,” Mirja said, opening the door to hear screams coming from upstairs. “Stay right here.”

I started to sniffle until Mirja was completely gone. I smiled as I heard more crashes from upstairs. Now just keep her occupied long enough for me to get what I want I thought to myself as I looked around the room.
