The Alpha's Triangle

Chapter 66 ALAIA

Ch. 66 / 200 Jun 24, 2025

News about my pregnancy spread like wildfire overshadowing the fact that Zira was also pregnant. Isaiah was excited but I could tell he was nervous. I guess it made sense. Becoming a father of not one but two babies by two different women only a few months apart can be taxing.

When he told Isabella, her reaction was subpar but Zira’s reaction was puzzling. She looked as if she wanted to cry. Not from sadness but excitement. I thought she would at least be a bit nervous from the competition but maybe she didn’t see it that way. I wasn’t sure what was going on but I will find out.

The following week, Isaiah left to attend business with my brother, giving me time to figure out what to do with this grimoire. I finally felt like things were looking a bit bright for me. Now if only there was a way to see the contents of the grimoire and I could get rid of Zira for good. That's all I wanted and I could be happy. Well as happy as I can be without James. My moment of solitude was interrupted by a knock on the door.

“Come in.”

Omega Lisa walked in dragging a badly bruised Omega Mary behind her. This was intriguing.

“What is this,” I asked, not showing any amusement about the situation.

“My friend here has been sitting on a nice piece of information for some days now. I tried to get it out of her but she was being very reluctant,” Omega Lisa said, pushing Omega Mary in front of her.

“Why is this important to me,” I asked with irritation in my tone. I wanted her to get to the point. I have a busy schedule to figure out how to work this grimoire.

“Well, Isabella and Zira came out of her room the other day. Whatever they were talking about made Zira look as pissed as you do when anybody mentions her name. I saw Mary come out right after them. She looked shaken like she heard something huge.”

I stood up slowly and walked around my desk to stand in front of her. I could feel her fear all over me like it was second skin. I moved her hair out of the way and she winced at my touch.

“Tell me Omega Mary. What did you hear? And please get to the point.”

Omega Mary started to sob. “Please Luna. I don’t know what I really heard. This could all be a silly rumor.”

“As if! You walked out of there like…”

"Silence, Omega Lisa!” I turned my gaze back to Omega Mary. “She will tell me what I want to know or…” I traced the contour of her face down to her neck and gave it a sharp squeeze.

She started to struggle to breathe before I eased up on my hold.

“Zira is getting an abortion,” she said so soft I could barely hear her.

"Zira is getting an abortion?"

I asked to make sure I heard her correctly. Omega Mary nodded and I took a step back. It took a moment for me to register what she's confirming. I couldn't believe my luck. Maybe the Goddess is finally letting me get what I want for a change.

Out of nowhere I started to laugh. It was small at first but eventually grew enough I had to lean against my desk to hold myself up. Omega Mary and Omega Lisa just stared at me like I was a crazy woman. I finally was able to stop a few moments later.

“This is just too good. She knows how to make things a bit easy for me,” I said more to myself.

I just couldn't really wrap my head around this. If people knew what Zira was planning she could be sent to the crazy house or even worse she could be executed. Killing a baby let among an alpha's baby was frowned upon in our community especially with pups being so rare in some circles. This was good. This was so good. I didn't need that stupid grimoire for her after all. I could just let her destroy herself, but I still need my powers.

“Omega Lisa, you have done me a great service. How about you go and choose something pretty for yourself from my jewelry box, yes?”

Omega Lisa couldn’t hold her excitement before bowing quickly and bolting out the door. I knew someone like her would be easy to control and please. So materialistic.

“As for you, Omega Mary, when is this happening?”

“In a week,” she said quickly. I could feel her heartbeat speed up a bit.

“You’re lying,” I said and slapped her across the face. “Tell me the truth.”

“Today. They left today,” Omega Mary cried.

I could tell now she was telling the truth. I don’t think I could ever leave secrets to an Omega. They are always so weak and easy to control. Just watching her give up information so easily made me sick even though the information was useful.

“Now that wasn’t so hard, right? Next time you keep information as important as that I will banish you as a traitor, do you understand?” Omega Mary slowly nodded. “I can’t hear you.”

“Yes, Luna.”

“Good girl. Now you still have one more thing to do.”

After telling Omega Mary what to do, I sat behind my desk and pulled out a jade necklace. I found it hidden in Isaiah’s desk. No feeling my ass. They both had feelings for each other. At least she was brave enough to admit it. Since my minor setback with the grimoire I had to move to plan b.

Using the jade necklace to connect to Zira was easy since she’s been wearing the necklace Isaiah bought for her. Giving her vivid nightmares would only drive her insane temporarily but this was even better. It sent her to commit a heinous crime in the werewolf community. Why bother with getting rid of her when she was so great at doing it herself.
