Pregnant Billionaire Heiress Gave Birth To Twins

The threat

Ch. 102 / 286 Apr 29, 2026

"Alright. At least you had a great time there. But I don't want it to repeat again. You are not living alone. You have a man." Desmond said, and Daniella smiled, seeing that he had bought her lies.

"No problem. It won't repeat again." She said and hugged him again. "I will go now and prepare breakfast for you." She added with a warm smile.

As she turned to leave, Desmond pulled her back and rested a hand on her shoulder. "You need to rest, you just got back. I don't want you to start stressing yourself out." Daniella's smile faltered for a moment before she regained her composure. Desmond was quite easy to be fooled. "I'm not weak, Honey. I can handle it. Don't worry about me."

She gave him a quick peck on the cheek. Desmond couldn't help but smile.

As Daniella was cooking in the kitchen, the aroma of the food wafted through the air, making Desmond's stomach growl with anticipation. She was cooking his favorite food. Soon, she was done. She served the food and called Desmond.

But when he tested it, he was disappointed. The food was okay, but it cannot be compared to Anabel's cooking.

Desmond pushed the thought aside. He didn't want to hurt Daniella's feelings. He took a bite, trying to act as if it's delicious. "It's delicious, thank you very much," he said, forcing a smile.

Just as Desmond was starting to relax, Daniella brought up the topic of their wedding.

"Now that your mom is out of the hospital, and your business is going smoothly, when are we going to fix a date for our potential wedding?" she asked.

Desmond hesitated, unsure of how to respond. He wasn't planning anything about the wedding.

"Soon." He managed to say, trying to placate her. But Daniella was not buying that.

"You can't just say soon and expect me to believe. I need a date, Desmond. My tummy is growing bigger by the day, and I don't like it. My friends are starting to mock me, saying that you're going to abandon me and never marry me. I want you to prove them wrong, and I want you to do it quick."

"I totally understand you, but you have to understand how it's meant to me as well. I want our wedding to be special, Daniella. We need time to plan it properly. Your pregnancy doesn't matter much. I don't care what people say, and you need to build that mindset. Not everything should be bothering you." He said, trying to reassure her, but Daniella was inconsolable at that moment.

"It matters to me, Desmond. I don't want to live in shame anymore. We need to get married, and we need to do it fast." Her voice rose, and Desmond could see the tears welling up in her eyes. Who would tell him that it was a crocodile's tears? "I know you don't want to marry me. You just want me to be your baby mama," she added, pouting her mouth and making a pity face.

Desmond began to feel somehow guilty at Daniella's words. Was he really just using her as a convenience? He didn't think so, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was somehow taking advantage of her. "That's not true, Daniella. I want to marry you, I promise," he said, trying to calm her nerves.

"Then what is keeping you? Not that you don't have the fund. See, if you don't want to marry me, you can tell me. It's very simple. I will leave and never come back. I'm not here because of your money if that is what you are thinking. I will be okay by myself, and I can take care of my baby," she threatened. Desmond didn't see that coming. He could see how serious she was. He can't lose her, not now, not when she was carrying his child. "You can't do that, Daniella. You're carrying my baby, our baby." He said, trying to reason with her.

"I have the right to keep my baby, with or without you. You know how it works in a court of law," she said. "And if you don't want to marry me, I will make sure you never see the child again." Daniella finished and left, acting as if she was pissed off.

The threat hung in the air, keeping Desmond uncomfortable. He knew he had to do something or risk losing Daniella and his unborn child forever. Deep down, he knew that Daniella was not the type he could spend the rest of his life with. He was still unsure of their future even though she was pregnant for him.
