"Are you alright, Seraphina? "
Seraphina batted her lashes and immediately maintained her stature and detached herself from that stranger's arms.
"Y.. Yes, I am fine. Thank you and sorry for bumping into you, " She apologized, lowering her head but then heard that stranger chuckling.
"Hey, it's okay. I should be the one, apologizing, "
Seraphina took her eyes upward and saw that stranger flashing a warm smile to her.
"I am sorry, Seraphina, "
Seraphina slowly nodded her head and was about to walk away from there but stopped when something caught her attention.
"How do you know my name? " She asked him because he was a stranger to her and she was to him then how did he know her name.
Seraphina waited for his answer and then saw him pointing his index finger towards her identity card which she was wearing on her neck.
"I read it from there, "
She nodded, hearing him and spoke
"Okay, "
"By the way, my name is Benjamin. Nice to meet you, Seraphina, "
Seraphina heard him introducing himself to her and then extended his palm to her, making her gulped because she wasn't a kind of person getting comfortable with everyone.
She gazed at his palm but didn't make any effort to return his gesture until
"Hey, sorry for disturbing but can you please tell me in which room no. this class is going to be held today? "
Seraphina turned her head and saw an another unfamiliar face.
"Actually my literature class section has been shifted and today is my first day in new section but I don't know where is the class, so please help? "
Seraphina heard that girl and then looked at that paper she was holding.
"Ok then, Seraphina. I will meet you later, "
Seraphina took her eyes upward and saw that boy, Benjamin telling her and she politely replied because she didn't want to make things more awkward.
"Bye bye, Benjamin, "
He smiled, hearing her and then left.
"Please tell me, "
Her attention again got diverted to that girl, hearing her. Seraphina read that paper, she was holding and spoke.
"You have been allotted my section. We have literature in common. Let's go, I'll show you the classroom, "
That girl nodded and then both the girls left from that place.
"Thank you so much for helping me, Seraphina. Otherwise I would have been still roaming in the entire school like a ghost in search for my new class room, "
Seraphina chuckled, hearing her classmate and new friend and replied while taking out her books from her bag .
"It's okay, Nevada . " Seraphina stated, placing her books on the desk before her.
Both the girls were talking to each other while waiting for their teacher when she heard that familiar voice.
"Hey, can I sit here? "
Seraphina turned her head and saw him again, who was gesturing towards the empty seat beside her.
"Actually my literature class has also been shifted to this section and the class is almost looking full, so can I sit here? "
Seraphina roamed her eyes everywhere and he was right, the entire class was looking full, so with a soft sigh, Seraphina moved to the side and let him sit beside her.
"Thank you, " He spoke, sitting beside her and Seraphina just nodded and then their teacher came.
After the class, everyone got up from their seats.
"Okay, Seraphina. I will meet you at the cafeteria at lunch time, " Nevada said as she had a different subject class from her .
Seraphina nodded with a smile and then she left. Seraphina was packing her back to leave the class, as now she had a free period when she heard him.
"Hey, can I come with you if you are free now ? I need your help in today's literature's lesson, Seraphina , " Benjamin requested.
Seraphina sighed because he was really not ready to leave her alone and she didn't want to be rude to him by telling him to leave her alone, so she again agreed and they both left the classroom.
"Wow, it was so easy but the teacher made it so difficult during her class.You should be our class teacher, Seraphina, "
Seraphina slowly chuckled , hearing him. They both were revising their today's lecture from the past one hour and she finally started getting comfortable in his company. He was really a sweet and decent human and he surely knew how to make her laugh with his jokes.
"Don't laugh, I am serious. You should teach us. You're way much more intelligent than that scary eyes teacher of ours, " He uttered and she giggled.
"By the way, you still didn't accept my friendship. Can we be friends, only if you are comfortable because I need a friend in life and a guide for my studies ? " He spoke, again extending his palm to her.
And this time, she returned the gesture by clutching back his hand and smiled.
"We are already friends now, Benjamin, "
His eyes lightened up hearing her.
"Really, so now you can call me Ben because Benjamin is too long , " He uttered and she nodded.
"Okay, Ben but now I have to go for my next class. I will meet you at lunch time ," She said , getting up from her seat.
He also got up and spoke
"Okay, I will wait for you at the cafeteria, "
Seraphina bobbed her head in her reply. They both exchanged a soft smile and then went to their respective classes.
"Yeah, she is on leave today , " Seraphina was telling Benjamin about her besti, Evelyn.
Currently, they both were sitting in their school's cafeteria as it was their lunch time.
"Wow, you seem very close to her . By the way, with whom you live, I mean your parents or here alone?" He asked her and her smile dropped at his question because immediately the image of those grey eyes started flashing in her mind,with whom she was leaving and had to live, who knew for how long.
"Hey, you don't have to answer, if you are not comfortable, Seraphina, "
"N.. No, it's not like that. Actually, I lived with my brother but he is out of the country for some business purpose and I have no one here, so I am living with his boss and his boss's family now until my brother doesn't come back, " She answered honestly and he nodded with a smile.
"Okay and where does your brother work? I mean in which company or corporation? " He asked .
Seraphina was about to reply again but this time, she halted with Nevada's voice.
"Hey, you are here? I was searching for you in your classroom, " Nevada said and joined them.
Seraphina smiled while watching her and answered.
"You told me to wait for you here, Nevada, so I was waiting for you here, "
Nevada laughed at her words and then looked at Benjamin
"Oh.. Hey! I hope, I am not disturbing you both if you both were talking about something personal then I can leave, "
"No.. No. We were just conversing about random stuff. You can join us too, Nevada, " Seraphina said, earning a big grin from Nevada.
"Fine then. I am hungry. Let's get something to eat, " Nevada spoke, making Seraphina nod.
"Well beautiful ladies , today I'll buy you both lunch , " Benjamin spoke, getting up from his chair.
"Who says no to free food? I am always ready for it, " Nevada remarked and everyone chuckled and then he went to get their food from the counter.
After getting done with her school day, Seraphina was packing her school bag when her phone started ringing and her face turned firm by watching the name flashing on her phone.
