Patrick's eyes turned colder. "I don't have time to waste with you. Listen up! Gloria is my mate. As long as I am Alpha, she is the only Luna of the Black Thorn Pack! If I hear that you don't address her as Luna again, I will make you leave the pack no matter what my grandfather says!
"Tell me, where is Gloria now?" Patrick asked with anger.
Ever since Christine joined the Black Thorn Pack, she had never missed Patrick's mink link.
Moreover, Gloria had not called him and told him that she was going to the Silver Spring Pack today. She went there behind his back, yet she and Christine lost contact with him.
If Alex had not fallen unconscious suddenly and was sent to the emergency room, or if Patrick had not seen through Alex's fake illness, he might not have associated Gloria's missing with Alex.
Gloria had an accident in the Silver Spring Pack, and Alex stalled Patrick in the hospital. It couldn't be a coincidence.
Patrick pursed his lips. The Silver Spring Pack may have ganged up with Alex.
Richard had worked for Alex for decades and was loyal to Alex. And he was Alex's most trusted person. However, he had never heard of Alex's plan to pretend to be sick and take Gloria away. Hearing Patrick's warning, he was anxious and had some guesses in his heart.
However, Richard could not tell Patrick about his suspicion.
"Alpha Patrick, I've been working for Alpha Alex for decades. If he planned to trick you and kidnap Luna, I would have known." Richard said patiently, "Alpha Patrick, I can swear to the Moon Goddess. Alpha Alex didn't do anything to Luna."
Patrick looked at Richard with his deep eyes. Richard had always been by Alex's side and had watched Patrick grow up. Patrick knew Richard well and didn't think that Richard was lying.
Did it really have nothing to do with Alex?
Patrick lowered his eyes, his eyelashes covering his cold and deep eyes. He pondered, 'If not for Grandfather, who else could have done this?'
Richard was facing Patrick, and his wrinkled face was filled with terror at the moment.
It had been many years since Richard had seen Patrick being so fierce and vicious. And he felt uneasy.
"Alpha Patrick, what are you going to do?" Richard rushed up to stop Patrick, who was about to leave.
"Out of the way!" Patrick roared.
"Alpha Patrick, please calm down!" Richard tried to talk him through.
Richard knew that he could not let Patrick leave just like this. Because he did not know what Patrick would do while he was obviously out of control.
Although Richard was anxious, he had no other choice.
"My mate is missing! How can I stay calm? Get out of my way! I don't want to fight you." Patrick's face was extremely cold, his eyes listless.
"Hank, pull him away!" Patrick calmed down when his anger reached the extreme.
Hank stepped forward immediately. Richard was pulled away by Hank and failed to stop Patrick.
Richard had lived long enough to know what was the right thing for him to do now.
A trace of shrewdness flashed across his eyes. He did not chase after Patrick but turned around and ran toward the emergency room.
"Catch him!" Patrick shouted.
Hank quickly grabbed Richard from behind and said, "Sorry. But this is urgent."
Patrick glanced at Richard and then at Hank. He ordered, "Keep an eye on him."
After that, looking at the door of the emergency room, he narrowed his eyes and continued, "As well as the man inside!"
Patrick was still suspicious of Alex and he wouldn't take any risk about it.
Richard understood what Patrick meant. His eyes widened and said in disbelief, "Alpha Patrick, you can't do this!"
Patrick looked at him and then at the emergency room. In this way, he somehow imprisoned Alex and Richard here.
"Hank, let go! Stop Alpha Patrick! Alpha Alex wouldn't want him to do something that would affect the development of the Black Thorn Pack!" Richard looked anxious, yet Hank remained unmoved.
Richard shouted anxiously, "Hurry up and go!"
"I'm sorry, Richard. The Black Thorn Pack belongs to Alpha Patrick now," Hank said expressionlessly.
"This is not good for Alpha Patrick!" Richard's face was distorted out of anxiety.
"Alpha Patrick knows what he is doing." Hank remained unmoved.
Hank kept an eye on Alex and Richard. Patrick gathered all werewolves and related forces to find Gloria.
Although he knew that something had happened to Gloria, he still hoped that everything was just a misunderstanding.
Along the way, he kept mind linking the werewolves of the Black Thorn Pack and gave his orders to them. He would contact Kevin every few minutes, even if he knew that Kevin would notice him immediately if Gloria went home.
Patrick's wolf was getting more restless. His nails would occasionally turn sharp, and began shifting from time to time.
"Go back, Leo." Patrick tried his best to restrain his wolf. He was flustered, and he had never been so scared.
His car was speeding on the road and heading to the Silver Spring Pack.
In front of Alpha's villa, the sound of a car braking suddenly rang out and broke the quietness.
Camille was drinking tea. She panicked when she heard the screech, and the cup in her hand fell to the ground, making a crisp sound.
"What happened?" Camille asked in a panic.
In the study, Alger was also shocked. He stood up hurriedly and walked to the window. Then, his face turned pale.
It was Patrick's car!
Alger didn't know what to think now. He wondered, 'Why is Alpha Patrick here? Shouldn't he be accompanying Alex at the werewolf hospital? Did he come for Gloria?'
Alger did not dare to hesitate. He left the study and headed downstairs immediately.
"Alger, where's Gloria?" Patrick shouted when he saw Alger from afar.
Alger said awkwardly, "Gloria has left..."
"Enough nonsense!" Patrick interrupted Alger irritably. He didn't want to deal with Alger anymore. If not for the fact that he was still rational, he would have shifted and torn Alger apart.
"I don't know. Hasn't she gotten back yet? I saw Christine pick Gloria up with my own eyes. Alpha Patrick, they probably went shopping somewhere, I guess." Alger tensed up. He observed Patrick's expression as he pondered about what he should say now.
