Ellison stood on the stairs. He saw Patrick and ran downstairs hurriedly to stop Patrick. However, when he saw Gloria's reaction, he could not take a step.
Gloria came back to life because of Patrick.
"What else do you want to throw at me? I'll get it for you," Patrick said.
Ellison picked up the broom and said, "No need to bother you, Patrick. I happen to be free, and I'll help her."
Hank wanted to stop Ellison, but Danny stopped him.
Hearing Ellison's voice, Patrick looked over and narrowed his eyes. "Ellison."
"Patrick, what are you trying to do?" Ellison stopped in front of Gloria. He handed the broom in front of her and said, "Madam, here you go."
Gloria stared at the broom and asked in confusion, "A broom?"
For a moment, she didn't get it.
She looked at Ellison in confusion.
The corners of Ellison's lips curled into a faint smile. "Madam, drive him out with it."
Gloria had a moment of enlightenment. She reached out to take the broom from Ellison.
Patrick's handsome face instantly darkened.
"Don't take it!" He shouted with a cold face.
Gloria looked up at him and took the broom as if provoking him.
Patrick couldn't stay calm. He hated Ellison. He suppressed his jealousy and asked, "Gloria, how do you know Ellison?"
"It is none of your business." As he spoke, Ellison stretched out his arm and wrapped it around Gloria's shoulder. "Gloria and I are destined to meet. We fell in love at Waikiki Beach. Are you jealous?"
Gloria wanted to struggle, yet Ellison tilted his head slightly and whispered in her ear, "Don't move. If you don't want to be pestered by him, just act along."
As expected, Gloria stopped struggling. Ellison put on a faint smile and looked at Patrick provocatively.
Patrick gritted his teeth. He tried to suppress the urge to punch Ellison. His eyes were full of affection and pain.
"Is that true?" Patrick ignored Ellison and stared straight into Gloria's eyes. "Is what he said true, Gloria?"
"Is it important?" Gloria turned her head aside and avoided Patrick's gaze.
The affection and pain in Patrick's eyes were never meant for her.
Patrick smiled suddenly, but his eyes were still cold. "Ellison! You are a dead man!"
Ellison's eyes also turned cold. He said angrily, "Oh yeah? Just because I got what you want? You are always so selfish and paranoid."
To his surprise, Patrick was not enraged. Patrick said coldly, "The matter between me and Gloria has nothing to do with you!"
Ellison clenched his fists.
He said furiously, "You were so cruel to your mate. When she loved you, you didn't trust her and even sent her to the werewolf prison to suffer. She was once the high and mighty daughter of the Carter family, yet she turned into a cleaner and even a call girl in the end. You used all means to force her to compromise, and you destroyed her dignity. The Moon Goddess couldn't bear to see it and helped her escape from you!"
Ellison was getting more emotional and mocked. "Patrick, congratulations to you. You managed to drive away the mate whom the Moon Goddess had chosen for you!"
Stewart, who was hiding in the corner, suddenly rushed out. He reached out to support Patrick's swaying body.
He looked at Ellison with his sharp eyes. "Ellison, you are indeed a schemer. You are the best at hitting people's sore spots."
Stewart glanced at Patrick, and a trace of worry flashed across his eyes.
Patrick had not had a good rest for a long time. In the past three years, he had spent almost all his time at work and looking for Gloria. After coming to Hawaii, he did not even sleep. Even if he was Alpha, he would not be able to take it.
Stewart supported Patrick. Patrick turned to look at Stewart and shook his head.
Stewart let go of his hand worriedly. He took a step back and stood behind Patrick, his cold eyes fixed on Ellison.
"Stewart, I heard that if one's heart is filled with kindness, then he sees everyone as kind. On the contrary, if his heart is filled with evilness, he sees everyone as evil," Ellison retorted.
Patrick said before Stewart could, "Ellison, you are the hypocritical one. Your kindness is fake."
Ellison glared at Patrick. "Patrick, you haven't changed a bit after all these years! Do you know why you have reduced to such a state?"
Ellison sneered. "Because you are selfish! Just like your mother! After so many years, I thought you would change. It seems that I have overestimated you."
Stewart's expression changed greatly. He shouted angrily, "Ellison! Shut up!"
Before Stewart could finish his words, Patrick rushed forward like a gust of wind. "Ellison! You're courting death! I'll grant your wish!"
Gloria was pushed aside by Ellison. She watched what was happening in front of her at a loss.
Stewart's face darkened. He was about to stop them, yet Patrick pushed him away.
Patrick was Alpha and had received special combat training. Even though he was in a terrible state, his anger made him look imposing.
As expected, after a while, Ellison fell to the ground in a sorry state.
Patrick was about to punch Ellison when Gloria suddenly appeared in front of him. She said, "Don't hurt him!"
Everyone was shocked.
Patrick's fist paused in mid-air. He looked at Gloria in disbelief, his voice choked with emotion. "Are you really in a relationship with him?"
Ellison was stunned at first and then laughed. He looked at Patrick and sneered.
Patrick asked Gloria, "You want to hurt me because of him?"
His words were mixed with a hint of sadness.
Stewart chimed in, "Gloria, you don't know..."
"Stewart," Patrick interrupted Stewart and shook his head at Stewart.
Stewart glared at Ellison. He put his hand in his pocket and said angrily, "Do as you please. I won't interfere in your annoying affairs!"
Gloria lowered his eyes and said, "He is my guest. I can't let you hurt him."
Patrick gnashed his teeth. When he thought about how Gloria protected Ellison, he was annoyed and almost went crazy!
"Alright! Since you want to protect him, I'll let him go today!" Patrick reached out and grabbed Gloria's arm. He said while panting, "You have to come with me!"
"Let go! Patrick, you must be crazy! You have no right to take me away from here! I won't go with you!" Gloria struggled.
