"How can you do that?" Gloria questioned Damon angrily.
Though Gloria hated Gabrielle, she still found it hard to believe that Gabrielle was killed by Damon. She had thought of all kinds of possibilities except for that.
"Why?" Gloria looked at Damon. "Why would you do such a thing? I thought you cared for Gabrielle deeply."
She was not seeking justice for Gabrielle. She just couldn't accept it.
Before she was twenty years old, she had lived a carefree and luxurious life. After that, her life was nothing but torment.
She had experienced the best and worst in the world.
So, Gloria thought that nothing in the world could shock her anymore. But she was wrong. Today, Damon stood in front of her and told her without any remorse, "I killed my sister and then framed you."
She had been wronged for three years, and she had to figure out why!
Damon wouldn't do this only because he wanted to frame her. It didn't make sense.
"Why?" Damon smiled mockingly. With a wicked expression, he said, "Ask the Moon Goddess after you die!"
With that, Damon narrowed his eyes. Gloria could see the killing intent in his sharp eyes, and her heart sank. She knew that Damon would attack her now.
"Wait!" Her coarse voice carried a trace of anxiety as she stopped him. "Damon, no matter what you want to do, wait a moment. I will tell you Gabrielle's secret. In exchange, tell me why you killed Gabrielle."
Gloria's mind ran wildly. Although she knew that she couldn't escape today, she was not willing to die muddle-headed. Damon admitted that he had killed Gabrielle, yet she was still confused about many things.
"Damon, make it clearer to me. Did you kill Gabrielle only to frame me? I stayed in the werewolf prison for three years. I deserve the truth before I die," Gloria said quickly, hoping to persuade Damon to tell her the truth.
Hearing Gloria's sincere words, Damon paused and hesitated.
He seemed to be somewhat interested in Gabrielle's secret that Gloria mentioned.
"Go ahead. If you spout nonsense and fabricate Gabrielle's secret, I will kill you directly." Damon thought for a moment and agreed to Gloria's condition.
Gloria nodded. She said, "One time, Gabrielle cried so hard until her eyes turned red. She said that you did not have a mate, but you had a son. However, the child died accidentally. You did not allow her to go to the child's funeral, and she felt bad about it."
Gloria was worried that Damon would not admit it, so she observed his expression as she spoke.
However, Damon became agitated. He stood up and roared, "She felt bad? She hired someone to kill my son because she was worried that I would care less about her because of my son."
Damon became more and more agitated. He stared at Gloria with a strange expression and said, "You're right. She didn't commit suicide. A vicious woman like her would never commit suicide! Don't you want to know how she died? Well, I did it. I put a pillow over her face and suffocated her!"
Gloria's heart was beating wildly. Damon described how he killed his sister. She felt that Damon was a madman!
Damon burst out with strange laughter.
He stared at Gloria and said, "I suffocated her and then set up the scene. I watched her struggle until her last breath. In the end, she stopped struggling. I thought of how my son died. At that time, I was relieved because I finally avenged my son!"
Gloria looked at Damon in shock and shouted, "You are crazy! Your entire family is crazy!"
"He was my son, my blood. No matter who his mother was, he was still my child. I have thought it through. I would teach him well and make him Beta one day. But everything was destroyed by Gabrielle's ridiculous jealousy. She killed my child, and I would kill her!"
"Gabrielle is your only family!" Gloria could not accept this madness.
"The only family?" Damon had a strange expression. Gloria could not read his emotions.
Damon sighed and continued, "Back then, when my sister was born, I had once held her and saw a mole on her right foot. However, when my mother came back from the hospital, I found that the child's right foot was without a mole."
He said, "Gabrielle wasn't my sister!"
For Gloria, his narration was like another bomb exploding next to her ears.
She did not have time to think about it.
She sat there in a daze, unable to come back to her senses for a long time.
It turned out that Gabrielle was not Damon's real sister!
Gloria's hands, which were tied to the back of the chair, trembled violently. She wanted to stop, but she failed to control herself. She clenched her fists, and her palms were hurt by her sharp nails, blood dripping down onto the floor.
For a moment, Gloria couldn't digest the information. Damon looked at her ferociously and said.
"No matter how bad Gabrielle was, we took care of each other for more than ten years and had been close to each other. Gloria, it is all your fault. If you had arrived at the Shadow Forest on time, Gabrielle would not have been attacked by those rogues. She had won Alpha Alex's favor, and she was destined to die after such a thing happened to her. If not for that, I wouldn't kill her just because I thought of her viciousness! After all, I have cherished her for so many years!" Damon sneered. "So, you are the reason for all of this!"
Gloria looked at the crazy Damon in front of her. Hearing his absurd remarks, she felt desperate.
She could not tell Damon one thing. She had a mole on her right foot.
