The Alpha's Broken Slave

Chapter 37

Ch. 37 / 60 May 03, 2026

Ares.

I shut the door behind me and finally allowed colors to fill my cheeks. There was a gentle feeling in my heart and I reached for my chest, feeling the steady beating of my heart.

There was obviously something wrong with me, these strange emotions have been swirling I'm my heart for a while, especially when I was around Alora.

My phone vibrated in my pocket and I growled, snatching it out to see Seth's name across the screen again.

"What?" I asked, walking down the hallway while staring at my door once more.

"Where are you?" Seth's irritated voice asked and I rolled my eyes.

"You don't order me around. I'm your Alpha." I warned, hearing Seth cough awkwardly before I ended the call, taking out my gun at the back of my pocket and putting bullets in it before tucking it behind me.

I went down the stairs, and out the house, slamming the door behind me before I picked my Ferrari from my garage, driving out my estate while the guards bowed in submission.

It didn't take long for me to arrive at the familiar warehouse where we tortured some intruders or enemies. I got out of my car, taking out a pack of cigarettes and shoving it in my pocket and held my lighter in my hand.

Seth came out immediately at the sound of my car and Victor followed behind him. Seth wore a dark suit with a white shirt, his fingers were in a pair of fingerless gloves making him appear badass.

Victor stood behind me, waiting at the entrance of the warehouse while typing frantically on his phone before tucking it away and turning to me. He wore a black jeans and black shirt with a black leather jacket over it. His motorcycle was parked just close to the entrance.

"Alpha." Seth greeted and I nodded at him, flicking open the lighter as he frowned.

"Why did you take so long?" He asked and I glared at him.

"Alora accidentally cut herself." I responded, ignoring the look he gave me as I took out a cigarette and placed it between my lips.

"Alora? The slave?" He asked and I said nothing, playing with the cigarette as I tried to clear my mind off the fragile girl who might have been asleep on my bed.

I didn't want her in my mind even when I entered the warehouse. I wanted to bury that part of me that felt gentle and weird. And I wanted to awaken the monster that I truly was.

"What did she do? Was she trying to commit suicide?" Seth asked and shook my head.

"No. She stepped on broken glass by accident." I replied, flicking the lighter in my hand before lifting the cigarette between my lips.

The tobacco scent filled my nose harshly. "Leave. Take Victor with you inside the warehouse. I need time to think." I told Seth who watched me wryly but I ignored him as he bowed and headed back to the warehouse with Victor.

As I took in a deep drag of the cigarette, I forced the smoke to erase every trace of Alora, her soft black hair and deep violet eyes. This wasn't a time for her to be in my mind, I couldn't think of her now.

She didn't exist.

I opened my eyes, looking up at the almost full moon above me. I could feel the power drawing unto me and I puffed out the smoke as a smirk filled my lips.

That's right.

The beast was awake.

I clicked the lighter shut, open, and shut again as I leaned away from my car and turned to the direction of the warehouse.

Torture.

Kill.

Destroy.

That was the only thing on my mind. Jax had sent in another spy to my pack and he had been caught. Jax should have known that as much as he killed mine, I would do the same to him. Spell his name with their blood and send it to him with their severed head.

That's right.

No one offended me and got away with it.

I was the Blood Alpha for a reason and at the mention of my name, Ares Delgado, people crumbled, submitting before me.

I dragged in a long breath as the heels of my shoe clacked against the floor and I entered the warehouse.

It was dimly lit, just the way I liked it. There were only two bulbs hanging from the high ceilings. One directly above the intruder who was currently tied up, his feet dangling above the floor and his hands chained above him, lifting him up in an uncomfortable manner.

His hair covered half of his face as the revealed side was filled with bruises, a few of his teeth had been knocked out as they lay under his feet all bloodied.

He was currently shirtless revealing the pack tattoo of Jax's pack. A white wolf head and a bloody rose at the bottom. His torso was marred with scars and cuts that were familiar and I knew Victor had done it.

Just beside the man was a table of torture instrument that I used a lot of times and I smirked at the pool of blood underneath the man.

Victor had done a good job preparing him for me.

While Victor was good with torture and pain, Seth was good with hand combat, batterry and assault. That was why they made the perfect right hand men.

I dragged out a chair from beside the table and sat on it, watching the man struggle to look up at me before his eyes widened. He was probably around my age, and something about him was familiar.

"Bastardo." The man spat 'bastard' in Spanish. So that's why he is familiar. He's a fellow Spanish man.

I smirked as blood dropped past his lips. That's right! He's Spanish too! That was why Seth had mentioned he didn't understand English.

This spy was one of Jax's perfect ones. The ones he only sent out on important missions. I puffed out a smoke and looked at his wrist tied above him.

There was a mark there. A mark of acceptance. It was a lips with a sword pierced right through its middle. "Sworn to Secrecy" that was what it meant. I smiled, drawing on another smoke.

Jax must have really wanted to find out something from my pack, some important information maybe for him to send one of his most trusted and experienced spies.

And one that could understand and speak Spanish too, so that no information flew past him when he arrived. I knew Jax could speak Spanish. He knew his enemy's language was an important skill to have.

And he sent one who knew it too and could speak fluently as well.

Bastardo. He called me.

Not only did the spy know my language, he knew me too. He knew I was a bastard child. He was well informed and he wanted me to know that he knew me.

I suddenly let out a chuckle as my eyes grew dark. That was where I outsmarted Jax, I made him think he knew about me. When he knew absolutely nothing.

He didn't know who the real Ares Delgado was.

I was a monster.

A beast.

More wolf than man.

I was an Alpha to be feared.

Seth glanced at me worriedly and Victor frowned.

They knew.

I took out the cigarette from my lips as I relaxed against my chair, looking up at the men with dark eyes, every trace of my smile vanished and was replaced with a scowl.

"Who are you?" I asked in Spanish and the man smiled while Seth and Victor exchanged looks.

I barely spoke in Spanish and when I did, it meant danger. Anger. And pain followed right after.

"I'm sure you already know that. You're not stupid." The man replied and I kept my gaze locked with his before he continued.

"You called me a bastard. You know, don't you?" I asked again, throwing the cigarette on the floor and stomping it with my feet as I took another from my pocket.

"Yes, Ares Delgado. I know everything about you. Your mother, father and your brother. You're just another file in my drawer." The man said and I clicked the lighter open and lit the cigarette, placing it between my lips.

"And how much do you know?" I asked, smiling at him.

"You think I'm dumb enough to tell you? I know what you're doing. You're making me talk so you could find traces of information from Jax." The man chuckled and I did too, leaving the cigarette in my lips and clapping.

The warehouse echoed with the sound of my claps and Victor exchanged looks with Seth who shrugged his shoulder in response

"Jax really sent a smart one this time. The last one was a fool. It only took one ounce of torture to break him. But with you, it's going to take so much more. I can feel it. And I'm going to have so much fun in breaking you piece by piece until every shred of you in a crumbled mess." I said, offering him a smile which he returned.

"Try your worst Ares, I've suffered worse. Your men torture felt like a tickle compared to what I've been through. The mark on my wrist. You know what it means right? It means you would never get any information from me no matter how hard you try."

I stood up from my chair, walking towards the table that held all torture equipment. "So you're the famous Marco." I announced as I noticed a flicker of fear filled the man's eyes before I smiled.

"Ho- How did you know?" He was confused and I picked up an instrument that looked like a spoon but I knew what it was used for and I walked back to the man.

"It was very easy. You know for a professional spy you really give off hints that aren't hard to catch. See.." I started twirling the spoon-like instrument in my hand.

"..I know every single one of Jax special spies and I know there's only one who had ever been captured and it was by rogue hunters. I heard he was tortured for fifty days and when he gave off no information they left him to die in the river. The rogue hunters use a particular kind of knife. More like a Kunai, those Japanese knives." I said before staring down at the man's torso.

My spoon-like object trailing down a scar just underneath his ribs. "You had the exact same scars from a Kunai. You know you were doing well from the start. But as usual, no one is smarter than I am. I just waited for you to say just something for me to confirm who you really are."

I chuckled, throwing my head back. "And you fell right into the trap I made for you. I teased you a little bit knowing you would brag about getting tortured. I only just wanted to confirm these were torture scars and not battle wounds. And you babbled like the idiot you are."

"Shut up!" The man yelled, struggling in his chains as his eyes glared at me with anger.

"That means nothing!" He yelled and I frowned.

"Don't glare at me. It irritates me when people do." I said, my voice growing dangerously low as I raised the spoon-like object closer to the man's face.

He finally realized what I was about to do and he leaned away fearfully.

"I'll remove your eyes first so you don't look at me with disrespect any more." I said, as the man started to shout but I left the cigarette in my lips, smirking as I held his eyelids open.

Slowly and painfully, I scooped out his eyeballs buried in his eyes. His screams filled my ears as blood started to splatter on my face from the broken veins that held his eyeballs to his eye sockets.

I did it slowly and the man trashed around and screamed at the top of his lungs, but they were like soft music to my ears and the eyeball fell to the floor and a laugh escaped my lips.

Then I went to the other, taking out his eyes so they rolled to Victor's feet in an irritating way. Blood filled my shirt, fingers and my face too and I stepped back to admire my work.

The man had stopped shouting but was breathing heavily and blood ran down his face and jaw, dripping to the floor.

"You say knowing your names means nothing? You're a bigger fool than I thought. Knowing your means gives me the leverage of finding anyone close to you. You better pray have no family, or else…" I chuckled darkly, throwing the object to the floor as I turned to Seth.

"Run a background check on Marco Lorenzo. I'm going back home." I said, taking out the cigarette from my lips as I puffed out smoke and walked out of the warehouse.

This was just a tip of what I was going to do to Jax's spy. Anyone who was from Jax pack was an enemy and they would face the monster within me.
