"Move away from her and don't show your face here again until she gets well." Bella yelled at her.
"Oh come on, Bella, you should give her a break or something. She's clearly sorry, and she's apologizing to you. Why can't you just put the past behind you and forgive her?" Desmond let out.
Luckily Desmond was the only one in the room who blindly believed that she was apologetic, and that was all that she needed. She didn't care if Mrs. Elizabeth and Bella didn't believe her, as long as Desmond did—she was good enough with that.
"You do not understand...." Bella let out, but Desmond cut her short.
"Just look at her, she's truly sorry. Why can't you just accept that?" Desmond said.
"Desmond!" Bella said, getting up from her seat and walking over to where Desmond stood. "We are really sorry for pushing you towards Daniella, but please, she's no good for you."
"What are you talking about?" A scowl settled on Desmond's face, keeping his intent gaze on his sister.
"What I'm trying to say is that we made a mistake, rooting Daniella for you. She's no longer what I thought she is. I don't want her anymore."
"Don't even go there, Bella. Don't you dare!" Desmond warned, wagging his finger in front of Bella vigorously.
"You and Mother were the ones who made me chase Anabel out because she was no good for me. That she's barren and unproductive." He purred, quoting the air with his fingers.
"...and now, Daniella is no good for me. You want me to chase her out too even when she's pregnant with my bbaby? Your plan for me is to remain single, isn't it?" Desmond said angrily.
"No, that's not it...." Bella let out, but Desmond didn't give her any room to say anything else.
"Enough, Bella, I don't want to hear anything from you!" He thundered, pouring out his frustration. Daniella tried to keep back her smile as Desmond was confronting them.
"I have tried to live my life in a way that's going to please the both of you, just so you two will be happy, but not anymore, you hear me?"
"I'm not going to live my life to please you both anymore!" He affirmed before he stormed out of the room.
"You guys want him to kick me out, huh?" Daniella asked after Desmond had gone out of view. "You think I'm Anabel? Kicking me out is not possible. Nobody will take him away from me. Desmond is mine and mine alone."
Bella chuckled, "You think so?"
"Don't forget that I'm pregnant for him. And very soon, I mean very soon, we will have our wedding. You know what it means. I'm not as foolish as Anabel." She smirked at Bella.
"As long as I'm alive, you will never marry my brother. We brought you in, and we are going to kick you out. Don't even think you will succeed because you will not.
"Let's watch and see." Daniella said and left to meet Desmond.
