"You think so?" Anabel asked with a smile.
"You have been standing here before we came, and you will still be standing till you get tired. Without an invitation card, you won't be allowed into the hall. I'm sure you came here to make trouble, but unfortunately, you won't be making the trouble inside." Daniella said and presented the invitation card to the security. "For both of us."
The security checked the card and let them in. They went in with smiles on their faces. At least Anabel won't be around to cause trouble.
"What are you still waiting for?" One of the security personnel asked. "Leave this place this moment!"
"If two of you don't let me in now, your jobs will be at risk." Anabel said, and both of them looked at themselves, then burst into laughter.
"You have no power to make us lose our job." The first security man said.
"Are you not ashamed of yourself? Attending an event you are not invited to. You are probably here to make trouble. I will advise you to leave before we make you."
"What is happening here?" A voice was heard at the back. They turned, and it was Mrs. Lillian, general manager of Skyline City Hotel and one of the Zacklid group partners.
"Miss Anabel, Why are you standing here?"
"Ma'am, thank God you are here. This woman wanted to gain entrance without an invitation card. We are about to kick her out."
"You want to kick Miss Anabel out? Are you guys out of your minds? Do you know who she is?" Mrs. Lilian asked.
"No, ma'am. But she's making trouble."
"She doesn't need any invitation letter to gain an entrance. She's the biggest shareholder of Zacklid group." She said and turned to Anabel. "I'm so sorry, ma'am. Please don't be offended. I will fire them now if you want."
"No, we are sorry. We don't know who she was. We thought she was an intruder. We are deeply sorry. Please forgive us." They begged for mercy.
"No need to fire them. I will just go inside. I've had enough drama already." Anabel replied and made her way into the event hall.
"Thank you, ma'am." She heard their voices from the back, thanking her, but she's more focused on the drama that was about to erupt in the event's hall.
Daniella was surprised when she saw Anabel walking inside the conference room majestically. She had thought that she would never get inside without an invitation card.
"Did she bribe those security guys? How did she manage to get inside here? I can't take this! She will ruin everything." Daniella was angry and uncomfortable. She knew that things were going to change now that Anabel was inside. Something she had been avoiding.
"Hey, Desmond. Your ex-wife is coming inside. I wonder how she managed to gain her entrance without an invitation card." Daniella alerted Desmond, who looked and panicked. "This is impossible. How did she get in? Who exactly is Anabel?"
