Sylvester and his fiancee
Sylvester poured himself a drink and settled into his favorite armchair, replaying the events of the night in his mind. Just as he was beginning to relax, he heard a familiar knock on the door.
He knew who was knocking. It was Vanessa, his fiancée. He had invited her to come over. She knew all about Sylvester and Anabel.
Sylvester got up and opened the door. He wasn't surprised when he saw Vanessa standing there with a mischievous smile on her face. She was wearing a sleek and form-fitting red dress that accentuated her curves.
"Hey, babe." She greeted and stepped inside, then gave him a quick kiss. "How did it go with Anabel?"
Sylvester closed the door behind her and led her to the living room. "It went better than I even expected. We had a nice dinner, and she opened up to me about her pregnancy and divorce. I pretended to be surprised and told her it didn't change how I felt about her."
"Oh, poor Anabel. She must be so desperate for someone to care about her." Vanessa laughed. "And you, playing the perfect gentleman. It's almost too easy."
Sylvester smirked, taking a sip of his drink. "Yeah, she's starting to trust me. She's beginning to rely on me, and that's exactly what we need. The more she trusts me, the easier it will be to get what we want."
Vanessa sat down on the couch and crossed her legs, then leaned back with a smug expression. "So, what's the next step?"
Sylvester joined her on the couch. "I will continue to be there for her, supporting her through her pregnancy and helping her with the company. I'll make sure she sees me as someone she can depend on. And once she's completely hooked, we'll start making our moves."
Vanessa chuckled, shaking her head. "It's almost too perfect. Anabel, the poor little rich girl, falling for the charming Sylvester. She has no idea what's coming."
Sylvester's eyes gleamed. "She won't know what hit her. By the time she realizes what's happening, it will be too late. We'll have control of the company and other things. We will do it in a way that her dad will be powerless over us."
Vanessa smiled. "You're brilliant, honey. I knew you could pull this off."
Sylvester leaned in and kissed her. "We are just getting started, Vanessa. There's still a lot of work to do, but we are on the right track."
"I can't wait to see the look on Anabel's face when she realizes she's been played." Vanessa smiled. "It's going to be priceless."
"So, tell me more about the dinner. How did Anabel react when you told her you didn't mind about her pregnancy and divorce?"
"She was surprised, of course." Sylvester answered. "But she was also relieved. I could see it in her eyes. She wants to believe that someone cares about her, that someone sees her as more than just a pregnant, divorced woman. And I gave her exactly what she needed."
"Oh, Anabel. So naive, so desperate for love." Vanessa's laughter was filled with mockery. "She has no idea that she's just a pawn in our game."
"We need to be careful, though. Anabel is smart, and if she starts to suspect anything, our plan could fall apart. We have to make sure she never doubts my sincerity."
Vanessa nodded. "Don't worry, Sylvester. We'll play this perfectly. Anabel will never see it coming." After drinking, she went and took her bath.
Sylvester and Vanessa were lying together in his bed. The room was dimly lit by the soft glow of a bedside lamp. Vanessa rested her head on Sylvester's chest as her fingers traced lazy patterns on his skin. They had spent the evening discussing their plans, and now they were enjoying the quiet intimacy of the moment.
Just as they were about to drift off to sleep, Sylvester's phone buzzed on the nightstand. He reached over and picked it up. It was Anabel. He glanced at Vanessa, who raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
"It's Anabel," he whispered to Vanessa before answering the call. "Hello?"
