"Thanks for the workout, Jethro." Stacey said when they finished working out. "I really enjoyed it."
"Anytime, Stacey," Jethro replied. "You are welcome to join me whenever you want."
As Stacey left the gym room, she couldn't help but smile. She felt a connection with Jethro. She could tell he likes her too, just that he hasn't confessed his feelings to her. Or maybe it was because of his current girlfriend.
She went back to Anabel's room, but she didn't see her. She decided to take her bath before looking for her. She took a quick bath and left the room in search of Anabel. She wandered through the house, looking for Anabel, and finally found her lounging in the sitting room. She has a book in her hands and a relaxed smile on her face.
"You are here." She sauntered towards her. "I was looking for you."
Anabel looked up at her. "Hey, Stacey. I know you enjoyed your workout."
"Yeah, it was great." Stacey replied and sat down beside her. "Jethro can make a good coach."
Anabel chuckled and set her book aside. "I saw you two laughing together, working out as if you guys are couples. You looked like you were having a lot of fun."
Stacey blushed slightly, remembering the playful moments she shared with Jethro. "Yeah, it was nice. I enjoyed every bit of it." She admitted it.
Anabel leaned in with a teasing glint in her eye. "Just make sure you don't get pregnant for my brother. You know, that is how it normally starts," she said with a playful smirk.
"Anabel! Don't say that. We are just friends. Besides, it's not like that." Stacey said, but deep down, she knew she could easily fall for Jethro. She won't be able to resist him if he makes any move on her.
"I know, I know. I'm just teasing. But seriously, you two seem to get along really well."
"I think he likes me more than I thought." Stacey said.
"Don't lose guard. Remember he has a girlfriend. They have not separated yet."
"Yeah, I know."
"Anyway, I was thinking of going shopping. I want to get some clothes. I don't know if you would like to come with me."
"I'm not doing anything. I will go with you. It's been a while since I did some proper shopping." Stacey replied.
"Great! Let's go and prepare then," Anabel said and stood up, then stretched her body. "I will take my bath first."
The two friends headed to the room. Anabel took her bath, and they changed into something more suitable for the shopping trip.
Stacey chose a casual yet stylish outfit. It was a pair of fitted jeans, a light blouse, and comfortable sneakers. She brushed her hair and applied a light makeup.
Anabel opted for a chic sundress and sandals. She pulled her hair back into a loose ponytail. She grabbed her purse and checked herself in front of the mirror.
"You look stunning." Stacey commented, and Anabel brushed. "Thank you! Let's go."
Stacey picked up her handbag, and they made their way to Jethro's room. Stacey knocked and waited for him to open the door.
Jethro opened the door and was surprised when he saw them dressed. "Where are you two off to?"
"We are going for some shopping." Anabel said. "Do you need anything?"
Jethro shook his head. "No, I'm good. Have fun, you two."
"Thanks, Jethro." Stacey said, giving him a quick wave. "We will see you later."
With that, Anabel and Stacey headed out the door and got into Anabel's car. As Anabel drove, they talked about their favorite fashion trends.
As they approached the upscale part of town, Anabel drove into the most beautiful boutique and designer's store. She found a parking spot, and they got out.
"Wow, this place looks amazing." Stacey said, looking around in awe. "I haven't been here before."
"Not only you. It's my first time as well." Anabel replied, linking arms with her. "Let's go."
They made their way to an elegant boutique with large glass windows displaying mannequins dressed in the latest fashions. The store's name was written above the entrance, and the interior looked inviting and luxurious. Anabel and Stacey exchanged excited glances before stepping inside.
Once inside, they were enveloped by the luxurious ambiance. The boutique was a haven for the wealthy, with its elegant decor, soft lighting, and racks filled with designer clothes.
Anabel began to check through the racks, her fingers brushing against the fine fabrics. Stacey followed closely, equally captivated by the array of beautiful clothes. They moved from one section to another, admiring the beautiful designs and discussing which gown they liked best.
After a while, Anabel's gaze landed on a stunning dress displayed inside a glass. It looked special. The glass was locked. No one can touch the cloth. It was a floor-length gown, made of the finest silk, with intricate diamond works and delicate gold. The dress was breathtaking, and Anabel couldn't resist the urge to get it.
"This dress is gorgeous. It looked special." Anabel said, turning to Stacey. "I have to get it."
Stacey nodded in agreement. "It's beautiful but looked expensive. You see, it's locked inside a glass. It must be a special dress. Go for it."
Anabel approached the sales counter, where a young salesgirl was arranging some accessories. "Excuse me." Anabel said politely. "I will like to get that dress, please." She pointed at the glass.
The salesgirl looked up and saw the dress she was pointing at. "That dress? Are you sure you want it?" The salesgirl asked.
"Yeah, I need it."
"Okay, let me get the key." The girl said, ready to assist, but her expression changed when she recognized Anabel. She had seen Anabel working as a janitor at Orton's Group Company, and her demeanor shifted to one of skepticism. She hesitated, and her eyes narrowed slightly.
"Are you sure you want to try that dress?" The salesgirl asked again. This time, her tone was less friendly. "It's quite expensive. I mean, very expensive."
