Bella confronted Daniella

"Stop talking as if you really care." Desmond said, but Daniella ignored and walked past him, making her way into the ward.

The moment Bella set eyes on her, she jumped to her feet and almost pushed Daniella back out of the ward.

"You this bitch. What are you doing here? Get the hell out of here before I do what you don't like. The nerve you have to show your ugly face here after what you did!" Bella screamed into her face.

"Take it easy, Bella." Desmond came in between the both of them and tried to peel Bella off Daniella.

"No brother, you do not understand, this woman can't be here, she has to leave!" Bella tried to get to Daniella so she could push her completely out of the ward, but Desmond wasn't going to let her do that.

"Will you just calm yourself down and stop disrespecting my fiancée in front of me?" Desmond ordered her, and Bella had to retrace her steps and return back to her seat, but she kept her hateful gaze on Daniella.

Desmond turned his attention on Daniella. "I said I will confront you when I come back. I don't know you will be here. Why are you here when you don't want me to know that my mother is sick? You even block their numbers in my phone."

Daniella's mind began to spin, thinking of what to say to convince Desmond. She knew she was in trouble. If she doesn't defend herself, things may turn in a way she won't bear.

"Baby, It's not what you think. I was just trying to protect you. I...I...thought she was lying. I thought she was trying to disturb you. If I'd known, I wouldn't have hesitated to tell you and even come to the hospital."

"What if my mother died? Is this what you will be telling me? Have I ever complained to you that they are disturbing me? How is it your business? I wonder what would have happened if someone hadn't taken it upon himself to pay for her treatment."

"Someone paid? Who could that be?" Bella soliloquizes.

"I'm sorry, please forgive me." Daniella apologized with fake tears. "I'm so happy that nothing happened to her."

"It's fine. But don't try it again." Desmond replied.

"Just like that?" Bella asked in surprise. She was baffled that Desmond believed her so quickly.

"It's fine, Darling." Daniella let out. She was actually playing out her role pretty well that Desmond was already buying into it. But Bella sat there with her arms crossed—she knew exactly what Daniella was trying to do, and she was not going to let it work out this time.

"This woman doesn't deserve to be your fiancée anymore, Desmond. She is a snake that needs to be discarded as soon as possible so she won't poison us all. Yesterday, she said she doesn't care if Mom died." Bella blurted out.

Daniella kept herself from frowning her face at Bella's words. She wasn't going to let her facade slip away so Bella wouldn't be able to use it against her.

"I'm really sorry, Bella. I'm sorry for the way I talked to you yesterday. My life has been really hard lately, and I'm sorry that I took out my frustration on you both." Daniella said, forcing a sad look on her face so Bella would buy her tale.

But Bella wasn't budging, and it didn't seem like she was going to budge anytime soon.

"Bella, I'm sorry! I didn't mean all of what I said." Daniella got closer to Bella and tried to wrap her arm around her as she continued to fake her emotions.

"Let go of me, and don't you try to deceive me with those fake tears of yours because it's not going to work on me." Bella said sternly.

Daniella wiped her eyes before her attention fell on Mrs Elizabeth who was just staring blankly at them. She wasn't saying anything.

"Mother…" Daniella called out and almost bit her tongue at the mention of the name.

"I'm truly sorry that I acted the way that I did. I didn't know what came over me. And I'm sorry that I didn't come over earlier. I was afraid that you were going to hate me if I eventually showed up here." Daniella said, pretending to twirl her fingers nervously while she kept up with the act.
