Aurora's outburst depicts the state of her heart. She's scared beyond words. Who wouldn't be in her shoes after encountering the beastly sex addict. If that lunatic escapes the prison and kills two men in doing so, she's definitely one of his targets.
Her complexion went pale. Her days of freedom have ended. No place for frivolity anymore. She almost got murdered and raped by him back then, except for the quick intervention of Adrian.
Adrian didn't for once, take his eyes away from Aurora. He seemed to have x-rayed her heart,saw through it and saw the height of her panic and fear.
He doesn't blame her. Anyone in her shoes would. He doesn't want to remember what that was like. Being captured and held captive by that psychopath.
“There should be breaking news on that already” Adrian flippantly declared. He doesn't want to believe that being an ex service man would make Ray Grimard smarter than those who trained him.
“Adrian” Aurora blurted in a weak and scared tone. Does it mean she has to stay within the house, being restricted her freedom until the lunatic is rearrested again?
“Don't panic my love. We'll map out ways to keep you safe” Adrian stuttered. Now, everything else is of a secondary priority. Protecting his woman is his utmost responsibility now.
Magda turned the TV on and the news was being broadcasted. They were clips of it and names of the prisoners that escaped were mentioned. Ray Grimard was on the top list.
“I need to double men to protect Aurora” Jimmy thought out loud. This is the best he can do now, to keep his sister from harm's way.
“On the contrary, I think you should go after that lunatic friend of yours and ensure he'd get rearrested” Adrian scowled. He was the reason that idiot got close to Aurora before lustfulness took hold of him.
“He's not my friend,” Jimmy snapped at Adrian. How can he be friends with such a fellow? They're in the military together but that's not the same as being friends.
“He's your friend. And you are the reason why he got close to Aurora. You had preferred that she chose him over me, remember?” Adrian retorted.
The two stared at each other in displeasure. Of course Adrian was right, but Jimmy wouldn't want to accept that reality.
“When you both are done, staring at each other like two rivals, I want you both to promise me that my daughter would be safe” Nancy blurted.
Adrian and Jimmy can glare at each other for all she cares. But what mattered to her, is her daughter's safety. It's a known fact that Ray Grimard will come after Aurora and Adrian.
And she cannot hide her fear for her children. Adrian is like a son,the father of her granddaughter. She sees him through the eyes of a son.
“You can't just blame me for your own failures in relationship” Jimmy scowled. If he had acted like a proper husband, would there have been a chance for Ray Grimard to cast lustful eyes on Aurora.
“I failed, that's true. But I don't wine with lunatics and criminals neither would I have encourage my sister to be involved with a psychopath who is capable of abducting and messing up with her body” Adrian seethed
“That's enough for both of you. Why are you quarreling when there are important matters to take care of?” Simon Blake reprimanded. Everyone has its own flaws.
Ray Grimard is out of prison and he's lurking around like a serpent hidden beneath a green grass, waiting for its victim. They should be strategizing on how to keep everyone safe and not quarreling.
“I expected us to think of a quick way to save ourselves but the both of you are quarreling. Well, I want some peace so we can think of the way forward” Santiago mumbled, chuckling softly.
“Aurora is in danger and I'm thinking of protecting her, but this fellow is saying something else” Jimmy explained. He only wants to protect his sister but this lover boy was talking nonsense.
“You should protect everyone else and leave Aurora for me. As it is now, Ray has his target on my woman and he would take any measure to achieve it, even if he has to abduct anyone and use such a one as bait.
I don't know why a stupid military officer like you doesn't know such simple facts. You'd better put off that uniform and get trained as a security guard” Adrian blurted, eyeing Jimmy.
“You think we are talking about business here where you think yourself to be a demigod? If you undertake half of the training I went through, you'll die” Jimmy ridiculed.
“It's better to die than to be an imbecile in the military” Adrian retorted. He hadn't had a chance to tell this idiot that he's an imbecile. Finally the opportunity came and he had utilised it.
“Aren't you both going to stop this old housewives quarrel? What the heck is happening here? None of you is going to listen to father and stop this word bashing?” Aurora scowled, staring from Adrian to Jimmy and back again.
Who is she going to reprimand now, Adrian her boyfriend and Jimmy her brother. They're both fighting because of her. This isn't the time for that.
“I'm sorry uncle” Adrian apologised. He is not done with Jimmy. Another chance would come and he would tongue lash him more than he just did.
“I'm sorry dad” Jimmy also apologized. This fellow who couldn't maintain a marriage relationship dares to talk nonsense. He'll get back at him. It's not over yet.
“It's fine. Adrian, take care of Aurora and your daughter. The rest of us would look after ourselves. Double the men at the gate. They should be heavily empowered and instructed to gun down any form of intrusion.
Meanwhile,no one steps out for now, until things are settled. If anything is needed, we'll have to send our bodyguards to get them. What do you all think?” Simon Blake asked.
“It's fine dad. We'll secure the entire compound. I'll have some soldiers deployed to the mansion ASAP” Jimmy added.
“And also watch out for any mole among your men. Meanwhile, I'm taking Aurora and Elsie away from here now. Don't worry about us for now” Adrian announced.
It wasn't long, Adrian helicopter arrived. Aurora was set to go, holding Elsie. She kissed Charlotte's cheeks and promised to keep in touch.
“Don't keep drilling her until you get her pregnant again” Jimmy mumbled. Being with her has now given him a license to sleep and wake up with his dick inside her all day.
And next, they'll hear the good news that Aurora is expecting a baby. He should marry her again before planting his seed in her belly.
Everyone was surprised at Jimmy's outburst. Is he stupid, why is he eager to pick a fight with Adrian? What if he gets her pregnant, what's his business in it?
